Follow him wherever he goes 
A constant reminder 

Regrets cloak his heart 
A heavy burden to bear 
As he seeks solace 

Echoes of the past 
Reverberate in his mind 
An endless cycle 

Haunted by mistakes 
He wrestles with his demons 
Seeking redemption 

Each step forward brings 
A wave of memories back 
Inescapable 

He yearns for release 
From the ghosts that plague his soul 
A chance at freedom 

But the past remains 
A spectre that never fades 
His constant companion 

Torn between old sins 
And the hope of a new start
