Once a heavenly being of grace

Now a solitary figure in disgrace

Bound by chains of remorse

Luminous wings that once soared the skies

Are now battered and broken

Aching for the ethereal heights of yore

Yearning for the celestial realms once more

Tears of stardust fall from eyes of azure

Silent echoes of a divine allure

A heart once pure now tainted with sorrow

Haunting memories of a brighter morrow

Cast out from the heavens, condemned to Earth

A spirit fractured and devoid of worth

Longing for forgiveness

Silently wishing for chance to rise once more

To excape the depths of darkness and  towards the skies.

A fallen angel

Seeking redemption beneath the moon and sun

Yearning for the grace of divine ascension

Awaiting the day of celestial redemption.
