The next day was very busy, but Maein had a lot of fun. The rehearsals were near perfect, something that was to be expected with only two days left for the debut showcase. The next day they would be filming the dance practice.

After working her butt off in rehearsal, Maein was free to go. She went back to the dorms first to wash up and change clothes, before heading over towards the BigHit building, where she had agreed to meet Beomgyu.

He was waiting for her with a grin on his face and she felt just as excited as he looked. It had been a week or two since they last met up in person, their practices felt never ending at this point. Though they did text everyday, it felt different seeing each other in person.

"Hey babe, did practice go well?" Beomgyu greeted her with a hug and a short kiss on her forehead. "You look cute."

As much as Maein loved hearing the compliments from her boyfriend, she would never get used to how straight forward he was. Neither did she really believe any of it. She wasn't necessarily unhappy with her body, she didn't want to change it for the life of her, but she didn't feel like she deserved the compliments either.

"Gyu oppa! Practice went fine, it's mainly just perfecting everything, you know how they are." Maein spoke with a slight blush prominent on her cheeks.

"I do, which is why I'm glad you were allowed to come with me today." Beomgyu grinned.

"What are we doing anyway?"

"Dinner and movie? Just relaxed, I'm really not in the mood to do anything active anymore. Practice is killing me too, to be honest." Beomgyu took Maein's hand in his, enveloping the whole of it.

"Sounds good, I could do some long time sitting. My legs feel like they are falling off."

While walking, Beomgyu towered over Maein with a full 10cm, allowing him to shield her from the cold by walked slightly behind her.

Dinner was as good as it could get for trainees. Maein did have a fairly steady salary, as well as some allowance from her, now rich, brother, but that did not mean she had a lot to spare for dinners. Besides, Beomgyu insisted on paying, since he was older and the one who invited her.

Maein didn't mind, she found it cute when he tried to be a gentleman to her. It gave her more money for other things, like those damned tampons that cost a fortune.

"How far are you with practicing?" She asked Beomgyu. "Do you all like the songs?"

"We do, they're all really different, but we enjoy them a lot. We can't wait to perform them."

"I'm glad to hear that. Fans only are freaking out. They have officially found out that there will be a boygroup called TXT." Maein updated him. "The teasers will be out in a few days. The countdown is making people nervous, even more than the fact that they don't know anything."

Both of them burst out laughing. It was weird to say the least, the way BigHit handled promotions. They made some site, but didn't announce anything, leaving it up for ARMYs, most likely, to find it. The boys knew that a huge part of their fanbase from the beginning would be fans of their sunbaes waiting to see what BigHit was planning this time, but they didn't mind. They also knew that it was just an opportunity to show a lot of interested people what they were worth. Those who liked it would stick around, those who didn't would go back to their favourites.

The most nerverecking thing would be announcing the relationship between Beomgyu and Maein. Maein was well known for many things. As an actress she had landed some amazing supporting roles. She had had her hand in a well amount of BTS songs, as well as some JYPnation songs. She was known through teasers to be debuting in ITZY. Besides  all that she was active on twitter, making her the perfect person to stan, because of the amount of content she provided.

She had previously been open about having a boyfriend and that he was a trainee, older than her, but she had never let off more than that. She had posted pictures of dates here and there on twitter, but Beomgyu face
was never seen.

She wasn't sure what the reason of the lack of hate, but despite being so open about anything in her relationship except who she was dating, she had never seen much hate. Especially compared to HyunA and E'dawn for example, who had been officially removed from their company.

While catching up they finished dinner and decided to watch a movie at his dorm, since they had been out long enough already and were afraid of attracting too much attention soon.

At the dorm they were welcomed by the rest of the TXT members in the regular amount of chaos.

"Kai. I swear to god, what is up with you patting Soobin's belly?"

Kai just gave Maein a look.

"With the way you act, I keep forgetting that you're older, not my fault. Oppa." She mocked the last part.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were on a date?" Soobin cut through their bickering.

"We were. But we were afraid of attracting too much attention, so we came back here." Beomgyu grinned at their leader.

"You were afraid to go to her dorm weren't you?" Taehyun teased.

"No. Maybe.. Yes. Don't look at me like that! They always stare me down, waiting for the smallest mistake to throw me out." As he spoke, he shuddered.

"I don't blame them. You are dating their sister. Who is two years younger than you, if you forgot." Yeonjun laughed, along with the others.

"They don't hate you, I promise, they just want me to be safe. They will still be your sunbaenims, they take that seriously. As will I for that part. Can you believe I'm going to be your senior? You'll have to use formalities to me too." Maein said the last part with a childish grin, mainly at Huening Kai.
