I'm in heaven

I couldn't believe it. Months passed after I came here, but I still couldn't believe it.

I was in Heaven. Not only that, I was chosen to be the Virtue of Charity. It may be because I had done some charity works while I was alive, but mine wouldn't compare to what others did.

"How do you do, good Virtue of Charity," a resident woman of heaven greeted me, bowing as I walked by, and I immediately bowed lower.

"I'm well. H-How are you, Miss?"

She smiled warmly, her eyes softening. "Wonderful."

I nodded with an awkward smile and quickly strode away. I was still not used to people showing me respect without wanting anything in return. People used to pity me or pretend to like me to get something. Here, however, everyone was so nice.

Here, I was a new me. My body was as light as a feather and no illness could torment me.

I was blessed.

"You're still wearing all black?"

I smiled sheepishly as Humility approached me with a disapproving look, scanning my black dress. "Just for a little while please? I used to wear black all the time when I was human, I can't help it. It just contrasts well with my white hair now."

He sighed. "Okay okay. I don't dictate things like that anyway. Where are you going?"

"Nowhere." I giggled when he rubbed his face in exasperation.

"Don't slack off, Charity. Now that the Sin of Greed has been chosen, you can't afford to."

My laughter died out. "Greed is chosen?"

He nodded, pushing out his lips in thought. "News came that a famous celebrity arrived in hell and was chosen to be Greed recently. We'll see who the seven deadly sins are when they all arrive there. At a meeting."

"A celebrity as the Sin of Greed... Sounds sort of cliché but what do I know." I hummed in disappointment. "What's that celebrity's name?"

"I think it was Park Jimin, a famous dancer and model?"

Freezing in place, I snapped my head up at him in shock. The heart that wasn't supposed to be beating in my chest rattled and pounded against my ribs.

"J-Jimin?" His name left my lips in a breathless whisper.

His eyebrows crashed together. "You know him?"

I collected myself and managed a nod. "Yes, h-he works- worked under my father's entertainment company... I met him in the hospital before dying... He wasn't in a critical condition, what happened to him?"

"I don't know anything further than that." He sighed. His eyes flitted across my face and he cleared his throat. "And um, speaking of your father... I had another... news."

My breath hitched. "What?"

"He's... He's passed, Saejin..."

My heart seized in my chest and my whole body shuddered. My knees were about to buckle from losing strength.

"That's... That's so early. Is he here now?"

His adam's apple bobbed up and down and he shook his head. "The other place..."

"What?!" My voice cracked and tears prickled my eyes. "W-What do you mean? Why?!"

"Because of greed."

"You look like a dark overlord, Saejin." Patience cackled, giving me another once-over before we entered the meeting room.

Thoughts of finally seeing him plaguing my mind, I had no time to bicker about my clothes. I wiped my hands on my sleeves dozens of times and licked my lips twice more than that. I wanted to throw up from all the nervousness eating me up. I remembered how being sick felt like again.

Humility pushed the wooden door open and the other six of us followed him into the giant room. A long mahogany table stood in the middle and one side of it was already occupied with six males and one female. Heavy dark aura emanated from them that could choke anyone near and have them tremble in terror.

Their hair was another story. It was the only thing that eased me. In fact, I wanted to laugh. They looked like skittles or M&Ms, sitting in a row like that.

Their eyes fell on us, capturing us like prey as soon as we walked in.

We were enemies, sure. But weren't we all the same humans before coming here?

My eyes locked with the blonde man's when I took my seat. He seemed to recognize me but at the same time, he didn't. I blamed it on the heavy makeup I was wearing.

He, on the other hand, looked the same but fiercer. I had seen his narrow eyes with heavy eyeshadow before but something powerful and ominous was surrounding them now. Any hint of warmth was gone from the sight of his pale skin. Glittering luxurious suit and blouse hugged his body and combined with his arrogant posture, Jimin seemed to embody Greed perfectly.

"I'm definitely not pleased to meet you," Humility spoke up first, earning everyone's undivided attention. I was sure the Sins were pissed. I would be.

A hazel haired man in frontier of him flashed a charming smile, bowing his head. "I'm the Sin of Pride, current leader of the Seven Deadly Sins. My name was Kim Namjoon."

He was polite and nice despite the shit our leader gave him for no reason. His dimple was adorable.

"Virtue of Humility. Hyunwoo." Humility's introduction was short and Temperance quickly filled in.

"I'm the Virtue of Temperance. My name was Jo Bada."

"Sin of Gluttony, the most handsome man you-" The pink haired man yelped when the purple haired woman beside him nudged his sides. "The name was Kim Seokjin."

Introductions were laid out and sure enough, the blonde man was Park Jimin, and he was as cheerful as ever, making me wonder what actually happened.

"How come you were chosen as the Virtues?" The green haired man, Envy blurted as soon as the introductions were over. "I mean, why?"

"To answer your rude question, we are not sure why either," Diligence said, narrowing his eyes. "Tell us why you were chosen then? I don't know, maybe because of your sins?"

The Sins stared at him in deafening silence, some looking away, some glaring, not hiding the fact that they wanted to punch him in the face. The tension was thick from the start of the 'meeting'.

"That's none of your business," Sloth spat. "Whatever we do after this is none of your business, either. This meeting wasn't intended for us to be friends. This was just mandatory. Now I'm out."

He suddenly disappeared and Envy and Wrath followed him.

"I apologize for their behavior," Pride sighed but Humility disappeared as well, followed by Patience and Kindness.

"I messed up, didn't I?" Diligence chuckled awkwardly, glancing at each of the other Virtues left there.

"I hope you forgive us, too," Temperance apologized. "I hope we can respect each other and act accordingly. There's nothing personal."

She gestured for us Virtues to stand and we did as told before bowing. "Thank you for attending the meeting."

The Sins who were left there stood up and bowed as well. "Thank you, too. If you'll excuse us, hell has a lot of things to do and sinners to punish."

'Sinners to punish'...

We all left the room after that and I teleported to Chastity's room instead of mine, startling her. With a keen conviction, I grabbed her hands and faced her.

"Saejin? What-"

"How can I seduce someone?"
