A/N: The aftermath, mentions of past rape and abuse

Pain. That was the only thing your mind was able to register. When you both went flying out the window you thanked Kami you went through first since neither one of you was able to move. You protected Rei to the best of your ability while she was able to create an ice slide despite her immobility. Unfortunately, gravity was against the two of you and the slide sent the two of you straight onto a car. The car was damaged beyond repair and you think your spine was done for also. As soon as his quirk wears off- if you're awake cause your vision is going in and out you'll heal your spine. Won't be the first time you healed your own broken bones.

"Y/N-N..." You moved your eyes and head a bit to look down at Rei who was lying on top of you. She managed to raise her head to look at you and gasped. "Your eye..." What about your eye? You tried to blink and realized only your left eye blinked. You got a piece of glass in your damn face or eyelid, didn't you?

"REI!!"

"MAAAAA!!!"

She turned trying her best to sit up but she couldn't really move much. At least she didn't seem too hurt.

"Y/N!!!" You turned your head a bit and all you saw was a bunch of red, blue, white, and yellow. What the hell?

"Can you hear me? Say something? Please." You realized the voice was Hawks. Weird. You thought he would be with Mirko trying to get Hiro.

"That fucker escaped there's no trace of him anywhere, but we sent heroes to scout the area. He couldn't have gotten far." You heard this and wanted to shake your head at them. Hiro had more than one quirk. He had about five the last time you saw him and that was a few years ago. Who knew how many he had now or what he was capable of doing. The paralysis bomb was one of his new combinations that caught you off guard.

"His quirk..." Dammit, the pain was making you slur and not think straight. The blood dripping all over the place was placating no one either.

"Neither of us can't move." You moved your head to Rei and we're really grateful you took the brunt of the blast. "His quirk I guess paralyzed us temporarily." Endeavor looked like it took every inch of willpower and patience to not blow up the whole block right there. Toya didn't look any better but was holding Shoto close to him and didn't let him see the two of you.

"I'm going to turn him into mincemeat." You agreed with Mirko. Wait. When did he get here? You gritted your teeth but through stubbornness, you stretched out your arm just a bit. It was enough and Hawks to no surprise latched onto your hand. For some reason having someone hold your hand made you feel better. It brought back memories of you being locked up in a dungeon, tortured, beaten, and raped and all you wanted was a hug or someone to come and save you. You looked at him to the best of your ability not moving your eyes from his face even when the ambulance came and was trying to move you and Rei. You hissed and looked down to see that a shard of metal went straight through your leg. Ah, that explained the blood loss and dizziness. How were you still awake? Rei was moved off of you and was in an ambulance but you heard her from here saying she doesn't want to leave until "Y/N is inside the bus." She was talking about the ambulance and you really hoped they would figure this shit out already you were tired.

"How are we going to move her without hurting her?" They were just going to grab you when they realized that the metal that pierced your leg was a part of the smashed car you were on. You had stopped looking at Hawks to see what was the hold-up.

"Move leg up." They turned sharply at your voice and they grimaced at what you said. You understood why and you would have done so yourself if you could move but you couldn't.

"This is going to be painful." You squinted and you felt Hawks squeeze your hand tighter and move into your vision.

"Focus on me Y/N." You did as instructed and focused on his golden eyes the creases of worry on his face and how his feather was caressing the undamaged side of your face. You were used to pain but when they lifted your leg completely off that metal you must have been extra sensitive because you cried out before succumbing to the darkness.

"Did she pass out?" Hawks tapped your cheek but you made no movement and with a grimace, he nodded at the paramedics. They cursed and moved quickly putting you on a gurney and oxygen before hauling you in the ambulance. Hawks watched Rei watching the emt put Y/N in the other ambulance before slumping over and passing out herself.

"Go make sure they're okay, you too Toya take Shoto with you." All Might was ushering Endeavor and Toya to go with the paramedics and they gave no fight about it. Not like they were there are two very precious people of theirs who have been attacked. That Hiro guy was going to fucking pay.

"Want us to take care of the mess?" Hawks glanced over at Mirko before looking at the symbol of peace. He knew he was a hero both of them were but being here worrying about cleaning and the news was the last thing he wanted to do.

"I'll take care of the media and the other heroes got the mess, you two go make sure Y/N is okay." When he and Mirko hesitated All Might rose an eyebrow "Move your asses." They needed no more motivation and with a flap of wings and a hop the two heroes were off.

"Why do you think she's keeping so many secrets from us?" Hawks glanced over at Mirko who wasn't looking at him at all, his eyes were honed in front of him.

"Because we haven't told her anything about us, the only thing she knows is our names, we are heroes, and our favorite snacks. But, here we are demanding that she explains the whole situation with her ex which is clearly a sensitive subject." It made total sense. Why would she want to open up when we aren't willing to do the same?

"I guess you have a point." That was the end of the conversation as both of them made it to the hospital in record time. They spoke to the receptionist completely ignoring her blatant fangirling in opt of wanting to make sure Rei and Y/N were okay. She explained the floor and room number and before she could ask for an autograph they hit the elevator and went. Mirko was impatiently tapping his foot with his arms crossed and for once Hawks was just as impatient. As soon as the doors opened both of them stepped out and looked down the hallway to see the Todoroki's sitting down or pacing. Mirko made a beeline straight to them with Hawks right beside him. Before Mirko can even open his mouth Endeavor beats him to it.

"Y/N had to be rushed to surgery for a crushed spinal cord and internal bleeding...Rei is in the room sleeping right now. She only had bruises and scrapes. Y/N took the brunt of it." Both Mirko and Hawks froze and let that sit in. Your spine was shattered? Well, it made sense considering you were thrown out an 8th-floor window with another person on top of you straight into a car.

"Will she be able to walk again?" Hawks desperately wanted to know. When he got no answer he cursed before sitting on the floor beside Toya. He still had Shoto who was now asleep. Thank God, the shock of having both his mom and Y/N in the hospital was too much for him to handle at the moment.

"She will walk again we just have to sit and wait." Mirko punched the wall in determination before taking a seat right next to Keigo. They may not have answers now but they'll wait for them whether it was good or bad.
