To say that you had butterflies in your stomach was an understatement. The only reason why you were trying to control the shake in your legs was that you didn't want to be seen as a fool in a literal auditorium full of pro heroes and their families. You tried to distract yourself from the sheer size of the auditorium to see if you could see some familiar faces. You glanced and saw Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, Shield Hero: Crust, Ingenium, Ryuko, Lion Hero Shishido and so many others. You looked on the other side looking for All Might to say hi to him but, he was already at the front with the other top 10 heroes. You huffed shaking your head. Of course, the number one hero aka Japan's Symbol of Peace would be the first one to appear on stage and not in the crowd.

"My, my why don't you look at that." Your whole body went rigid an ice-cold feeling running down the length of your spine. Your tail went stiff but, you prevented it from sticking straight up to alarm anyone. You took a deep breath not wanting to face the owner of the voice yet. You were safe. He wasn't going to do anything drastic or to draw attention to himself so you had nothing to worry about. You audibly swallowed steeling your nerves before turning around with a forced polite smile on your face. The man behind you who was smiling at you was dangerous. He was conniving, manipulative, had multiple sides, money, power and anything else you can think of that'll suit a villain, not someone pretending to be a hero and care for the well-being of others.

"Hironori...What a surprise to see you here." Where the FUCK was Enji when you needed him. This guy was bad news and you knew it all too well. He was the reason you left your home country, the reason why your parents sent you away so you can escape his clutches and have a better, safer, and happier life but he somehow found his slimy ass all the way in Japan. Why the hell was he even here?

"The pleasure is always mine my dear Y/N. You are looking as gorgeous as ever." You cringed at the way his eyes raked up and down your frame. You also didn't like that he knew you were here. You never told Enji the full story. You just told him he was a stalker from your home country who visited Japan from time to time but, you never told him what he did to you and how he was your ex.

"What brings you here to the Japanese Heroes Awards MetGala." You put an emphasis on the Japanese Heroes' part to let him know that he didn't belong here.

"The same reason you are my darling." He took 2 steps forward and you took four back wanting as much space between the two of you as possible. You looked around looking for a way to get away from him and you saw it in the form of Moe.

"Well I would love to stay and chat but I have someone waiting for me." You didn't wait for a reply as you made a beeline straight for Moe. She saw you stalking towards her and she raised an eyebrow perplexed and concerned

"What's wrong Y/N?" You felt your lips wobble but you refused to cry and mess up your good looks. You took a deep shuddering breath letting it out in one go.

"He's here and he talked to me." You gave her a look and it took a few seconds for her to get it before she was glaring over your shoulder eyes scanning the crowd. You tugged her hand forcing her to look down at your eyes still hardened with a scowl on her face "...Just keep me company, please?" She looked at you for a few more seconds before nodding and tugging you to the front. You sat 3 rows from the front and in the center so you and Moe both had a perfect view of the current top 10 and then the rest of the heroes who would follow. You let out a breath wanting to be as relaxed as possible. You gave Moe's hand a squeeze and she squeezed it back. She knew just as much as Enji but right now at this moment, you wished you would have told them the full truth. You're not sure what they would have been able to do but you're pretty sure it would have been much more than what they're doing now.

"WELCOME EVERYBODY AND EVERYONE. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME-" You blocked out the formalities not interested in that but, just want to see them get their awards and answer a couple of questions. You also couldn't shake the feeling of eyes boring into your head and you knew who it was but you weren't going to give him the satisfaction of you looking around. He always got off on your fear and paranoia and you'll be damned to let him see you like that again. With that thought in mind, you took a deep breath and focused on the awards getting lost in the smiles and compliments and applause. You didn't even realize it took an hour until you looked at your phone but, you weren't worried about it. Everyone was so lively as the people ushered everyone into this humongous dining hall that could fit well over 1,000 people.

"You did great back there. You don't have anything to worry about I'll alert the others, okay and they'll be sure to watch you. You won't be out of anyone's sight." You hugged Moe's hand to your heart thanking her in your own little way. You let her go allowing her to go and talk with the top 5 heroes. You looked at the people at your table seeing some familiar faces. You caught Ingenium's eyes and he waved tapping his little brother Tenya to give you his attention. He pushed his glasses up waving robotically with a big smile before turning back to his older brother. You smiled and looked around to see Toya talking with Tenko and Shoto in between not really paying them a mind. You stared longer than needed because Shoto was looking at you before smiling and tapping Toya rapidly while pointing in your direction. Toya turned to see who you were before waving with a grin and giving Shoto permission to come over to you. You couldn't help but smile as he ran holding onto his All Might figurine towards you.

"Y/N-Chan!" You smiled opening your arms for the boy to give you a hug. Once he did he sat down in your lap and started talking your ear off. It was so endearing and he was making you very happy with his excited noises and how he saw Uncle All Might and he took him for a flying trip along with Natsuo. The boy was too cute for his own good and as he continued to talk your eyes wandered and caught Hironori's eyes by accident. You quickly averted them going back to Shoto who was now looking at where you were looking "Who's that weird man who keeps looking at you? I can get Toya or Daddy to make him stop. OOOO All Might can do it too!" Before you can even respond the boy was already typing away on his phone and then he showed you the group chat he was in with his brother and parents.

"There's a man who keeps staring at Y/N and he's scaring her." He smiled at you and you didn't have it in you to be mad or upset. He was just looking out for you. You hugged him close to you playing with his hair a bit before he seemed to get giddy. You looked up to see Enji and Toshi there.

"Young L/N!" He opened his arms wide and both you and Shoto launched in for a hug. He let out a boisterous laugh carrying the two of you in his arms drawing attention to himself but he was used to it. No matter where he went he drew attention to himself. You looked over your shoulder to see Enji glaring at Hironori until that bastard gave up and excused himself from the table disappearing behind doors.

"Thank you Toshi-kun." You whispered it that only he could hear and he winked at you.

"Come and sit with us!" It wasn't a question more a statement but you nodded your head in agreement anyway. Ingenium looked at you weirdly before being brought back into conversation with Tenya. You allowed All Might to carry you swinging idly on his bicep as you thought of one thing

'Long fucking night this going to be'
