It wasn't long that Endeavor came out of the office and confirmed that he was in fact telling the truth. He was currently staying in Mustafa which was far from where you were staying in the Shizuoka Prefecture. At least you knew he was here and maybe before he went back to Magnolia you could get his number and stay in touch with him. Might as well catch up with as much as you can with him while he was here.

"Once again Endeavor-Sama I am sorry for coming in here unannounced and thank you for hearing me out and not turning me into a crispy chicken nugget." You snickered behind your hand trying to keep quiet but let out a shrill when he tickled you with his feather. You stepped away from him trying to get away from the offending appendage but, to no avail. You took cover besides Rei who blew the feather away allowing it to return to its owner.

"Yeah, yeah whatever." he rolled his eyes throwing a hand up exasperated with the whole situation and it barely even began. He showed how much of a dad he was and then to make it better he stood with his hands on his hips judging all of us. It was perfect. "Now get out of my office. I'm not going to say I won't see you cause I know that's a lie." He glared at the grin Kaen shot at him the look reminding him of a particular chicken.

"I'll be out your hair in a minute." He used a feather to grab your phone inputting his phone number and handing it back to you "See you later pretty. Bye old man." Ignoring the indignant sputtering of Endeavor with a flap of his wings he was out the same window that he came in leaving the whole family mulling it over

"I don't like him." You jumped turning to look at Endeavor and Toya who spoke. You're not even surprised Toya was just like his dad.

"He doesn't seem that bad. He reminds me of Hawks!" You smiled at Shoto's excitement before grinning when Natsuo and Fuyumi yelled their agreement

"Ah, no wonder I don't like him." You watched exasperated as Enji agreed with his son and they gave each other that weird handshake whenever they agreed on something without arguing.

"Hawks is not that bad and you know it." Thank God for Rei to the rescue. Enji and Touya looked away grumbling but didn't say anything. While they continued to talk you decided to entertain yourself with the younger siblings. The conversation drew away from Kaen and went to them talking about patrols, paperwork, and cases they had to work on. You were playing hero when you heard a thump and flap of wings.

"Hawks-kun! Mirko-kun!" You watched as the siblings swarmed in on them. Hawks was letting out little chirps here and there whereas Miruko was pretending to hate it but the slight upturn of his lips said otherwise. It was cute and endearing giving you a warm feeling in your chest.

"Easy with the wings, I just finished preening them they're sensitive." You had an obnoxious urge to touch his plumage to see if he really did a good job but, you beat that feeling down. "Ah! Y/N-chan! How are you?" You answered with a smile

"I'm doing fine Hawks-kun, how are you? And what about you Mirko?" You wished you knew their names just once so you can say them in your head. It'll be nice knowing you have that trust to get a pro's given name.

"Bird-brain here almost crashed into a building and forgot he had wings flailing mid-air." It took a second but an image of him doing cartwheels and squawking indignantly as he tried to get his bearings was too much and had you laughing.

"Ah! Don't be so mean! I panicked for a second there!" You all ignored him as he pouted and fell to the floor in a dramatic heap as you all continued to laugh at him.

"Who are you guys talking to?" You all looked back to see Rei opening the door before greeting the two new occupants followed by Touya and Enji himself. You decided to watch their interactions as they all talked about a new mission and patrols but for some reason, there was subdued tension. It wasn't too noticeable and maybe you were imagining things but it seemed that Miruko and Hawks coming set Touya on edge and he seemed to inch his way a little closer to you. Not that you minded you enjoyed the boy's attention on you.

"I don't have much to do today. For once I'm caught up on paperwork and stuff so I guess I'll patrol for a bit." Hawks seemed a bit bored with a smile plastered on his face. You noticed though that his gaze would subtly go in Touya's direction which again weird but whatever. Men were weird.

"Paperwork will be later's problem. I want to kick some villain butt." Mirko pounded his fists together. He did the paperwork himself then unless he miraculously had a secretary to do it for him since he's a one-man team.

"Then let's head out." Rei decided to stay behind to watch the kids and assured you that she would be fine by herself and for you to go.

"Darling you can always come back if you want but I'm fine here by myself." You pouted but melted when she kissed your forehead as a mother would to her unruly child. It melted you and with no more complaints you were out the door. It was kind of weird being with two very popular pro-heroes. Hawks took the sky and Miruko decided to take another route all of them agreeing to meet in an hour by a restaurant for some food. The place was known to keep pros safe from prying civilians and cameras. As you walked you were sandwiched in between Enji and Touya. You finally took notice that not only Touya was a spitting image of his dad but he was just as buff and tall. Enji was about '6"5 and Touya '6"2. Besides their physique, you also noticed that the streets were becoming extremely crowded with people wanting autographs and pictures. You tried your best to stay out of the limelight not wanting to be asked questions. You should have known though that luck was going to run out

"Hey, who are you?"

"What are your connections with the Todoroki's"

"Are you Dabi's girlfriend?"

"An ex-lover-"

"Do you guys have kids?"

"Are you an upcoming hero?"

"Are you side-kick-"

"What kind of animal are you-" You felt your head spin with all the questions thrown at you. It was becoming overwhelming very quickly and you couldn't breathe. It was too much. You couldn't handle it. That's another reason why you didn't want to be a hero. The publicity was just beyond you. You must have made a noise because Touya was using his body to shield you to the best of his ability standing behind Endeavor as he barked at them

"STOP ASKING SO MANY NOSY QUESTIONS. SHE IS HUMAN AND HAS FEELINGS AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE HER TALK...NOW MOVE!!" His booming baritone including him lighting his-self on fire did the trick. "Let's go Dabi." Touya nodded activating his fire in his feet only like his dad as they both propelled themselves upwards. You clung to him as all three of you landed on the rooftop of a building. You noticed that you were still clinging to Touya making distressed keening noises as he did his best to shush you rubbing your back soothingly.

"It's okay Y/N, you're safe. You're nice and warm and safe. They won't ask you questions. We can stay here as long as you need." You didn't realize you were in his lap and he was cradling you against him. You didn't mind in the slightest burying your face into his chest as he continued to rub your back and whisper reassurances in your ear. It was oddly intimate but, you weren't in the mood to be deciphering all of this right now.

"How is she?" Touya nodded at Endeavor and you flinched at the feel of something behind you but soon relaxed chirring at the feel of a hand rubbing your head and massaging your scalp. "I told Miruko and Hawks to meet us here. I already explained what happened." You didn't care much that they were going to see you like this. In fact, it made you feel better knowing it was pros who were seeing you like this and not a civilian. If anyone knew about anxiety, stress, and everything else under the sun it would be the ones who put their life on the line every day for strangers just because they want to help. You barely registered the flap of wings and a thump as Touya was slowly lulling you to sleep. It was nice.

"At least she's calmed down now." You weren't sure who was talking just focusing on the soothing feel of warm hands rubbing your back and a soft voice whispering in your ear switching to kissing your cheek and whispering in your ear. You know you'll talk to Touya later about this but right now it was working and you didn't want it to stop. You didn't even realize that you fell asleep until you went limp in his arms

"So who's going to take her back?" Touya knew it was Hawks, it's always Hawks since he could fly and it was only logical but that doesn't mean he has to like it. He grunted getting up slowly to keep from waking you up and handed you to Hawks who took you gently in his arms using his feathers to hold your tail.

"One of you let Rei know that I'm bringing back a sleeping Y/N." Without another word in a flash of red he left the three of them on the rooftop not knowing two were green with envy.

Thoughts? I think at the end I'll make an alternate ending of Y/N getting with Touya.
