It took every single ounce of willpower in Mirko not to sprint out the room when you screamed his hero name. The red feather that Hawks had at his back was a good form of persuasion also but, no one didn't need to know that. He was scared to see you know some of your past and he did not want to be the reason why you pass out or go into a coma. However, Hawks was a pushy little shit and his best friend so he got him here one way or the other.

"That's twice in one week already." You flinched and he inwardly cringed feeling the feather press a little harder into his back.

"I'm a trouble magnet what can I say?" You cracked a forlorn grin your eyes not really there but, were brought back by Shoto getting in your line of vision. "Anyway." You started playing with Shoto's hair "How come you're here? I'm not trying to be rude but, don't you have a butt to kick being the number 5?" It was a genuine question.

"I make time for what's important." That brought a blush to your face and forced a nervous giggle out of you. Now you felt the atmosphere getting awkward and you desperately needed someone to break it. You subconsciously reached for Touya's hand and he gladly squeezed it back. You saw that both Hawks and Miruko looked down at your conjoined hands briefly before fixing you with a stare that you quite couldn't deduce.

"Anyway! We heard good news chickadee! You'll be able to leave in a few hours and since it's 7 AM-"

"IT'S 7 IN THE MORNING!" Your head whip-lashed to the alarm clock that blared 7:03 AM in bright green letters before turning back to the occupants "I WAS OUT FOR A WHOLE DAY!" You felt your heartbeat skyrocket and before you can panic you felt a cold and hot hand mush your cheeks together.

"It's okay Y/N-Chan. You're fine there is no need to worry." He gave a tentative smile as he massaged your cheeks and for some odd reason, it worked. You took a calming breath and before you knew it your heart rate went back to normal to the relief of everyone in the room

"Yes, chickadee it's 7 in the morning meaning you'll have a whole day to relax." You cringed at that before looking at the Todoroki's feeling bad for ruining their peaceful Saturday

"I swear to Kami Y/N if you apologize I'm going to freeze you." You looked astonished at the accusatory look Rei shot you but quickly deflated with a sheepish blush across your face. How did you become such an open book to them?

"Fine I won't but, do any of you have to head into work? I'll come with you guys." You looked down at the younger siblings who were protesting before Endeavor interrupted

"I think it's best we all come to my agency, not that I'm doubting your mom's and Touya's skill but, our home was invaded and if any of you get hurt I'm going to have my license revoked and I do not feel like going through the whole process of getting it again." Everyone was silent as they mulled over what he said. He did have a point. What were the chances of them coming back "Also if and when they come back - cause they are- we all will have someone watching our back and watching Y/N since she's the target." You felt guilty as he made a point. It was you that they were after and you ended up putting everyone in danger

"Oi, stop looking like that. It's our job as heroes to protect the innocent." You looked up shocked at Miruko who was looking off to the side before giving you a side glance. You couldn't help but laugh a little missing the shocked look on his face and the light pink blush.

"Who am I to deny heroes calling right?" Everything after that went smoothly and for someone, you didn't feel as nervous as you did before around Mirko. Maybe it had to do with everyone else in the room or the fact that Hawks kept him in line subtly. He was very brash and rude and spoke his mind with no fucks given but, he was making an effort around Endeavor's kids and around you as if not to scare you. You appreciated the sentiment and those few hours in the hospital passed by rather quickly. You were having conversations with the Todoroki's since Hawks and Miruko had things to do and left with a thump and feathers blowing in the wind. You guys had made it back to the estate while Endeavor spoke to the police and the rest of you took quick showers, grabbed some food, and changed clothes. Now all of you were back in his truck heading towards his agency. It was silent as you held Fuyumi for once in your lap while everyone else somehow fell asleep. You looked over at Touya to see his head back with Shoto snuggled into his right side so you decided to gently snuggle into his left side since he was so warm and Fuyumi and Natsuo were the perfect amounts of cold that it evened everything out. Before you knew it you were being shaken awake by a grinning Touya who you smacked with your tail. You put Fuyumi down and dragged a sleepy and drooling Natsuo to the entrance. Once you greeted everyone including a surprised Burnin' you hid inside his lounge with everyone else while the 3 pros went to deal with what you assumed happened.

"How do you feel Y/N-Chan?" You blinked down at Fuyumi not surprised at all that it was her who asked. Should you tell the truth or a white lie?

"I feel better honestly knowing all of you are safe and that your parents, big brother, and other pro heroes are going to protect you guys.

"But what about you Y/N! You need to be protected just like Fuyumi! You both are the princesses and it's up to the King and princes to protect you and the Queen!" You blushed to smile happily as Fuyumi yelled at Natsuo and started chasing him. The Queen was Rei and even though you doubt very seriously she needs help she will never deny anyone's help let alone her children. You continued to entertain them as the pro's discussed whatever business until you felt a presence behind you and a feather on your cheek. You leaned into the feather turning around to greet who you assumed was Hawks but, your jaw dropped as you stood straight up, tail sticking up in alarm blades going in and out. You slapped yourself but, the image, the person in front of you didn't disappear their normal smiling sharp feral grin was nowhere in sight. In place were a sad smirk and a large scar that went diagonally across his face from his hairline to his chin. His black and blue wings were on full display as he stood and stared at you. You vaguely heard scuffling chancing a glance behind you to see they all were at the door and you assumed one of them went to get everyone else. Not that you deemed this stranger a threat because he wasn't but, then he was supposed to be fucking dead but HERE HE IS.

"It's been a long time hasn't it dove." You blinked back traitorous tears. No. They weren't going to fall because this wasn't your best friend. You remembered how Hiro killed him. It was so much blood with his face split open. This was not your best friend.

"You're s-supposed to be d-dead." You took a step back as he took two steps forward your quirk going out of control like your emotions.

"I know. I'm surprised to be alive but, it's really my dove." His calm facade was beginning to crack a bit showing some form of sadness and desperation. You couldn't help it as a couple of tears came out

"You're not Kaen"
