Ever since that article came out, Adrien had been on edge. Not so much because of the fear of being mocked, but the fear he was being stalked. That photo couldn't have been taken by paparazzi, it was someone that knew him. Likely someone from school who knew he'd be out with Luka that day.

And who's been suspicious in the past? Lila. Luka was right, this did seem like something she'd do. Why? Adrien had no idea. But when he arrived at school, immediately he was flagged down by his friends asking if he was ok.

"I'm... somewhat ok. Nathalie has done damage control before so she's helping to get all the gossip to stop. It's more the fact someone was following me around to get that picture that scares me" Adrien said.

"I knew that picture seemed off, we got your back ma- uh... should I be saying man?" Nino replied.

Adrien thought for a moment, he still had no idea what he was.

"I... don't know. I'm still figuring things out, that fucking article gave me a heart attack and definitely didn't help my confusion..." Adrien sighed.

"Take your time bro. Also just know that when I say dude and bro I mean that in the most gender neutral way. Marinette is also a bro, despite being very much a girl" Nino said.

"Ah yes the gender neutral bro, a classic" Marinette snickered.

"But seriously take your time, we'll make the switch when you figure it out"

Man, Adrien had the best friends. They really stood by him, no matter what happened.

"Thank you, at least Adrien is a gender neutral name so I don't have to worry about finding a new one" He sighed in relief.

"That photo though... you think it might have been Lila?" Marinette asked.

"Luka suggested the same thing. Honestly it might have been..." Adrien replied.

They looked over at Lila across the main quad, talking to some of the other students. Probably lying her ass off to them.

"We need to find a way to catch her in the act, maybe... maybe we can set up a 'date' with you and Luka and we can watch from afar to see if she shows up?" Nino suggested.

"Hmm, maybe. It just bugs me so much that I don't know why she's doing this. What does she have to gain from both harming me and sucking up to me? Like sure I'm somewhat famous but now my dad is out of there picture there's no modelling jobs or anything she can land through me. If she's in love with me then she can go fuck herself because I'm already in a relationship... but if it's not either of those things then I have no idea what she could be doing..." Adrien rambled.

It was very odd, if it was fame she wanted this wasn't the best way to go about it. If it was Adrien's love she wanted she lost her chance way before he even started dating Luka because of her shit behaviour. If it was just for satisfaction? Well Adrien didn't know what to do about that one.

And if it was the miraculous she was after, then she couldn't even dream of that. They were all in the miracle box aside from ladybug and cat noir. And she doesn't know Adrien was cat noir anyway.

"By the way, how's the outfit for the album cover?" Nino asked Marinette, breaking the silence.

"OH! Yes that, I need to measure you Adrien" she said, reaching into her bag for a tape measure.

"Oh yeah, can't really make something without the measurements" Adrien replied.

She grabbed a pen and paper too, to write everything down. She took his shoulders, waist,  hips and height.

"I found the fabric for it yesterday, almost the exact same as in the design so it'll match Naths draft. Once it's all done we can meet up over a weekend and get the pictures! Alya said she can help with the camera" Marinette said.

"Thanks Mari, you're a legend" Adrien replied.

He was actually pretty exited to have this cool outfit, it was super cute. Inspired by vintage pyjamas sets, Marinette had come up with a matching cropped top and shorts, green flowers on a white background and super puffy. Perfect for the aesthetic he was going for, and rather girly too. Something he was eager to try more of, girly things. Dip more into the androgynous side he'd been uncovering recently.

"We should stop standing around and get to our lockers before class starts" Marinette said.

"Shit we've wasted so much time gossiping, let's go" Nino replied.

They'd left some books in their after their last physical education class and needed to retrieve them. Heading into the locker room there were only a few kids who had sport soon in there getting ready. As they rounded the corner they immediately noticed something stuck to Adrien's locker and upon further inspection they found it was a note. Types so the handwriting couldn't be identified.

"What the fuck?" Nino muttered.

"Ok one, it's ghram de vanilly now get it right. And two... are they trying to take my boyfriend? Good luck. I licked it so it's mine that's the rule" Adrien said.

It was clearly an empty threat, but it was still odd. If it was Lila behind all this then why would she be trying to 'steal' Luka? She hadn't even met him? But they couldn't think of anyone else it could be.

Chloe may be an ass sometimes but she was Adrien's childhood friend and wouldn't stoop that low. It can't be his jailed dad, that would also be very alarming if it was. So it has to be Lila, that was the only person he had drama with.

It had to be an empty threat, an attempt to make Adrien upset. It didn't make sense.

"That's just weird, why would she pull a move like this?" Marinette asked.

"To try and stir me up? No idea" Adrien sighed, crumpling up the paper and tossing it across the room into the bin.

"This is so pathetic, you're literally just trying to live and get an education. Whoever this is, they're actually deranged" Nino said.

"Pathetic but definitely very strange..."

Lila or whoever this was really needed to get a life, and stay out of Adrien's. This whole situation was so wrong and Adrien was already 200% done with it.
