Summary: You were simply an ordinary college student, who needed the extra cash to pay your tuition fees, so you innocently accepted working inside the Sakamaki Mansion as a maid, but you absolutely had no idea the hell that was awaiting you through those double doors. However, are you truly ordinary or meant for something greater?
Chapter One
The sun was falling lower and lower in the orange and crimson painted skies, as you pulled your luggage through the heavy and weathered gates, while gazing up at the nearly fairytale appearing like mansion with an agape expression contorted into your face. In all honesty, the only reason you were moving into the stylish home was that the condition was required to attain the job, which you needed to pay your way through the prestigious college you were attending. However, the way your heart was pounding at the front double doors was the only sign you needed to turn around and leave the eerie mansion along with the strange family probably awaiting for you inside, so you began to walk back down the steps, as the front doors creaked open, while you froze in your tracks. "(Y/N)?" a deep voice muttered, while you slowly turned around to face the tall purple haired teenager with cool looking glasses. "Why are you still standing there? We need our maid to clean the mess in the kitchen right away."
The amethyst haired teen stepped aside, while you bit down on your lower lip and entered the creepy mansion, as the doors quickly slammed shut behind you, which sent shivers down your spine, but you pushed your fears away and followed the other boy into the kitchen, where you were met with the horrifying sight. "I expect this eyesore to be cleaned thoroughly," the violet haired teenager commanded, while you glanced over the smeared icing, broken dishes, and glass bits scattering the countertops. "You are also required to prepare dinner for the triplets, as well. If you need any assistance, then come seek me upstairs in my office. Understood?"
The straightforward demand nearly left you speechless, but you quickly nodded, which seemed a good enough answer for the purple haired teen, who immediately turned around and disappeared somewhere upstairs, as you wrapped the frilly and lacy ebony apron around your waist, while picking up the broken bits of shattered glass from the floor. "What happened in here?" you muttered, as you wiped away the icing from the countertops, while rinsing the rag in the noticeably rarely used sink, then continuing once again to clean up the icing. "He didn't even tell me what the triplets wanted to eat. What am I supposed to do now?"
You eventually headed upstairs and towards the direction the violet haired teenager with eyeglasses ventured, but your aimless exploring proved to be useful, because your feet eventually led you to the bossy purple haired teen's office, where you knocked respectively upon the heavy wooden door. "May I come inside?" you asked, as the door creaked open, while you stepped into the room, which was filled with books and papers. "I've already cleaned the mess in the kitchen, but what exactly do the triplets want to eat for dinner?"
The amethyst haired teenager frowned and gazed down upon you with an unreadable expression, which you frankly did not appreciate, because you clearly had gone out of your way to be kind, so why could he not extend the same courtesy to you? In all honesty, you absolutely despised rich kids, because they were all rude, spoiled, and entitled, like the one in front of you! "By now, I would have thought that their presence would be known to you," he said, while giving you a little smirk and sitting back down into his office chair. "Well, I know that those three really enjoy eating sweet things, so does that help you prepare dinner for them?"
XOXO
How could that little piece of information exactly help you prepare dinner for the triplets? Despite the struggle, you had settled on baking a large chocolate cake for the three brothers, which was more like a desert, but hopefully the triplets did not mind, because you could always make something else for them, as you had taken a cooking and baking class, so you would not starve throughout your college years. "Are you the new maid?" a childlike voice asked, while you immediately turned around in surprise, as your eyes glazed over another violet haired teenager, who seriously sent shivers down your spine, because he appeared so unnatural, but strangely adorable at the same time. "You're baking something sweet, aren't you?"
You timidly nodded at the question, but the bear hugging teenager only moved closer towards you, which you responded by firmly holding your ground and place, because you did not want to anger the other boy, who seemed like the type to do something crazy, as the deep dark circles underneath the teen's eyes told you enough. "You may call me Kanato, but do well to remember that my bear is named Teddy," he said, as you quickly noticed the possessive hold on the stuffed animal, so you kept your eyes glued to the large amethyst orbed teenager, who smiled and reached out to gently touch your cheek. "(Y/N), I really, really like you. After all, I haven't met someone in a long time that truly understood me right away."
Your (E/C) eyes widened at the cold fingers brushing against your cheek, but you did not reject the touch, which you knew would cause the other to throw mostly like an anger tantrum, as the teen seemed the sort to possess deep childhood issues, so you kept yourself in a statue like state, while Kanato mischievously grinned and pulled you into an embrace. "The cake does smell sweet. I would never slander your expertise baking," he said, as fingers ran through your (H/C) locks, while your heart began pounding at the sudden invasion of space, which you tried to control by forcing yourself to keep calm. "However, my dear, you smell sweeter to me!"
He quickly released you, while you stumbled towards the oven, where you regained your breath, as he took a seat at the island, like nothing ever happened between you two. "Now, Teddy and I would like to eat," Kanato said, while you took the cue to pretend the embrace did not happen, and silently served him the chocolate cake. "You're so nice to me!"
XOXO
The silver shining tray you were holding glinted the dim hallway light, as you quietly walked towards the piano playing triplet, while biting down on your lower lip, because deep down you're mentally and physically exhausted from hanging out with the violet haired triplet, who was not able to keep his grubby, little hands off of your cheeks and waist. In all honesty, you never had someone touch you so much, which clearly was upsetting you, because you obviously enjoyed your space bubble, and despised anyone that invaded the boundary. "May I come in? I brought you some dinner," you said, while gently knocking on the bedroom door, as you were quickly greeted with a fedora wearing teenager, who immediately pulled you inside and slammed the door shut. "You don't have to be so rough!"
The piano player only gave you a mischievous smirk, as you noticed that the older triplet had beautiful green eyes with defining auburn colored hair, which made you believe that the other boy could nearly be a model, but you quickly gathered your thoughts and remained grounded, as the teen walked closer and closer towards you. "Call me Laito," he said, as you nodded to the harmless request, while you set the tray down onto the table, but kept aware that the other was nearing onto you. "I love how you don't shrink back in fear, because that just gets boring! I should tell you that I cannot stand boredom. You should be aware of that..."
Your eyebrows knitted together in confusion, as you wondered what Laito could possibly mean by shrinking back in fear, while you poured the tea and sat it next to the chocolate cake, which drew the green eyed boy's attention. "Baked me cake, did you now? Well, it sure does smell good!" he said, while pulling you down onto the piano bench beside him, as you reminded him not to be so rough once more, but his emerald orbs just widened along with his grin. The atmosphere soon felt like you gave away a precious secret that wasn't supposed to be heard. "Isn't a little roughness needed in a relationship? I promise I won't be so rough with you. In fact, I'll make you desire my touches."
A frown sank into your expression, while you got up and excused yourself to find the third triplet brother, as the fedora wearing boy simply laughed at your reaction. "Oh, I enjoy you already," he said, as you turned around to face him, while he gave you a naughty little smile. "You're asking me not to be rough, like we're already in some relationship. Now, I truly really like that!"
XOXO
The silver shining tray was once again in your hands, as you headed towards the last triplet, who you hoped was nothing similar to his touchy and clingy brothers, but you had an extreme feeling of doubt bubbling inside your heart, because everyone that you met so far in the mansion was very rude, spoiled, and entitled, but that was to be expected from bratty rich kids. However, this was the last chore you had left to accomplish, so you prepared yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally to knock upon the heavy wooden bedroom door, while awaiting to meet the horror inside. "May I come in?" you asked, while the door slowly opened to reveal another handsome emerald eyed and crimson hair colored teen, who immediately pulled you inside just like his older brother did earlier. "Hey, I'm carrying your dinner!"
The third triplet pushed you down onto the window seat, while you simply gazed up at him in wonder, as he eventually took a seat beside you, which did nothing to calm your still pounding heartbeat, because the brothers once again invaded your space bubble. Could they not tell that you disliked being close to other people? "You're to call me Ayato, but nothing else other than that!" he demanded, while you silently nodded to the ridiculous request, because why would you call him something other than his name? After all, you were his maid, not a close a friend or relative, who had the ability to give pet names. "Well, you're behaving nicely. Anyway, I'm tired, so just feed me my dinner, will you?"
A frown settled into your facial expression, while the emerald eyed boy laid his head down onto your lap, as you brought the spoon into his mouth, watching him quietly chew the chocolate cake you baked. However, your exhausted mind was not giving you break, because all you kept wondering was the reason behind everyone's touchy and clingy attitude towards you, especially since you were a stranger towards them! "You're not bad at baking," he said, while your heart raced even more, because you liked people complimenting your food. "However, I want you to make me something that I really like next time!"
You silently nodded, while he sat up and cupped your cheeks with his fingers, as you quickly deepened your frown, which made him somewhat smile at you. "I like how you don't become a hysteric, especially when I do something that you don't enjoy. Your expressions tell me everything, so just keep quiet and use body language, I'll be more tame and nice, then" he said, while moving his hands down to your waist, and pulling you an embrace. "You're really interesting, but I love that about you. See you around, maid boy."
A/N: Tell me what you think. I know that maids are girls and butlers are boys, but I said maid on purpose, because I wanted to make (M/N) girly.
