I'll speed up the plot a lil
The boat left the dock and picked up speed. The cool (cold as hades), crisp, and salty air hit the demigods' faces.
Piper leaned against the railing and watched the sea pass by. She mulled over a variety of things from if she could resist the charmspeak to if she had been eating enough lately.
Percy always wat at the edge, controlling a bit of water to make a sprout he could touch. Will had been quiet, focusing on the mission and getting Nico back most likely.
The trip passed by smoothly because no monsters were on the boat....
Unless they were in the sky.

Piper opened her eyes from her half-sleep because of the ship's rocking picking up.
"Attention passengers, please head to the inside and stay seated. A storm is approaching. Thank you," the announcements said.
She walked across the dock to the door when a sudden jolt crashed her to the side. The wind blew faster and it started to pour, hard.
She struggled to her knees and covered her eyes with a hand to try and see anything past the rain. She looked for the cause because storms don't come like this with no warning. Monsters.
The rain pounded against her making her get soaked. She whipped her head back and forth to try to find Will and Percy but she couldn't hear or see them. She was alone.
A gust of wind blasted her face and when she dared to pry open her eyes, for a quick moment she saw eyes in the wind.
"What do you want?" She called out to the clouds. A small gap cleared for just around her creating a small area of peace, but her clothes and hair whipped around.
"Ahhh, Piper Mclean," said a low, rumbling voice. "Just vengeance is all. You've been a naughty girl."
She narrowed her eyes and stepped forward, the gap travelling with her. "What? What'd I do?"
"That other storm was my brother and you kind of killed him sooo." it explained. She took a moment to process and try to think, then her eyes widened. The storm that had come to camp.
"I needed to. He was attacking camp," she defended, defiantley. She straightened her back and glared right up at him.
"That isn't a excuse. You killed someone with feelings, family, and a mind. Not just an average monster." The storm swirled around her.
"Listen, I did what I had to do. Too bad," she let the charmspeak that was desperate to come out slide into her voice. It relaxed her nerves.
"Oooh, feisty. Well I am pretty bummed about him so I can't really let you go." The storm picked up, smashing into her. She flew into a wall with a sharp thud.
She finally heard Percy and Will's voices, but they were a blur in the back of her mind. The wind swept her into the air, above the ship. She could see Will screaming for her while Percy controlled the rain.
"Put. Me. Down," she commanded. Her muscles felt drained from the pressure of the air and storm. It felt that the storm took her energy and used it against her.
"With pleasure." he said before sending her into the clouds with a throw. She vaguly heard her name screamed but all air was out of her lungs.
She hovered in the dark, wet clouds for a second and she wanted to pause time to stay in the moment. Not go back, not go down, just stay there.
But a long second later, she curved and fell from the sky. She dared to open her eyes with all the energy she had and all she saw was water. No boat.
The wind rushed past her ears as she fell through the air. A sense of calm washed over her as the air pressure changed. She let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes.
