Do you ever sit back and just think about life? Life isn't perfect, but the one who makes it perfect for you is someone you should hold onto forever, you should never let them go!

For Y/N, it was jimin. He was everything she needed, same goes for him too.

Every single day of her last months in the hospital, she has lived because of him. It was him, and his existence who made her live another day on this earth.

And suddenly he disappears? And then again appears, only to say he is not real ?

How can she believe it? But she has to!

Just like you pour the cool water in the glass full of ice cubes and it makes a satisfying sound, his laughter and voice made her feel giddy and satisfied from inside.

He was an angel, after all !

The more she kept looking at him with her tear filled eyes, the more her heart yearned for him, for his warmth. Her ears urged to listen to the musical sound of his heartbeats.

But did you forget? He doesn't have a heartbeat.

" Cherry! Please don't make it hard for me even more than it already is! I wish to stay with you forever and ever but my wish does not matter here. I'm just a mere angel. If I could, I would've kept you hidden deep inside my heart, if that meant you would stay with me. Please don't cry! " jimin said as his words escaped his lips in a smooth whisper like voice.

" You gave me so much, jimin. How can I just live without you. You promised me- but now you're saying you ca- can't?! " she said, biting back the lump that formed at the back of her throat.

" I'm never leaving you my love! I'm always here. You just need to call my name inside your heart and I'll be in front of you the next second, I just can't stay with you as a normal human, because I'm not one to start with. " his voice was broken, he just wanted to make all her sorrows disappear and hold her close to him.

" I- I can still not believe all that is happening, jimin! But- I trust you. I always have. Please don't break my trust. Please don't serve me those pretty lies again. I can not handle it anymore. " She sobbed at the last words, not having any more control over her emotions. She let her tears fall free.

"I will never ever break your trust, cherry!" He said as his own eyes were stinging from tears ready to flow down.

The last time.

The last hug.

The last and first kiss.

She couldn't handle the burden on her chest anymore. So she broke down in front of him, making him cradle her in his embrace.

His vision was blurry, so as her. But do they really need eyes to see each other?

Definitely not!

Their lips met. It felt like a sweet melody that will blow your mind away, that would sway you back and forth, luring you to fall in a deep sleep full of beautiful dreams.

The soft feather like touch making her go insane. As if the universe was waiting for them to unite, to be one, the air felt sweet.

She could even taste the salty tears, that were all over her face but didn't care about a single thing at the moment.

Breathing the same sweet air, she never thought a feeling like this existed. Her thoughts were tangled, in a beautiful mess, and jimin had the full control on that mess.

If she ever get lost, it would be in his eyes.

If she ever feel loved, it was because of him.

His lips were sickeningly sweet, addicting to the point she never thought of letting go. He didn't try either.

Their moment was short lived, but they wouldn't call it as a short lived moment. It was something to cherish the whole life, it was something that could bring you back to life.

Her breath was not steady, she didn't want to let him go, but she had to.

" Please, promise me. Promise me that you will be happy in the future. " He whispered near her lips and let the distance between them be more apparent, as he got away from her warm skin.

" I promise. " She breathed without hesitation this time.

He was smiling. Was he sad? Happy ? Content ? She couldn't decide.

" Even if you feel like you can't continue anymore, keep going. Keep living. Think about me and stay there for a little bit longer, hmm? " His soothing voice filled her ears and she nodded, sniffling.

" Remember that I'm not going anywhere, I'm here whenever you want to see me. This is not a goodbye, cherry. " He said smiling through his tears.

" I want you to go ahead in your life and start a new journey, with someone else who can be with you forever, okay? Someone who can give you warmth I couldn't give. Someone who can make you smile just as I did. And someone whose heartbeats can calm you down. " He finished off with a grin that looked broken yet happy.

Tears won't stop.

" Now stop crying and smile. Look, I'm smiling, ain't I? " he comforted her, trying to calm her down.

She couldn't say anything, even if she probably had so much to say to him.

All she could say was;

" Is this where we fall apart? " She sniffled, smiling bitterly at the thought of how cruel their destiny was!

He showed her a smile and grasped her hands in his, saying, " don't be sad now! I told you this is not a goodbye. "

He stood up, pulling her up with him in the process as he was holding her hands.

" This spot is where you'll find me whenever you want, but not everyday. I too have some restrictions, sadly. " He said and she nodded smiling, her cheeks were strained with salty tears.

" We will meet soon. " He said as his hands slipped away from hers, making her smile drop but she couldn't do anything.

She hummed, trying to smile but failed.

Jimin turned around, taking steps towards the exit. He didn't turn back, he couldn't. If he did, he wouldn't be able to go away from her.

His lips that were tilted up in a smile now suddenly dropped down and his eyes shone. Shone with tears that flowed down.

While, she smiled sadly at the purple stone in her hands, turning away from Jimin's disappearing figure.

It's crazy how life gives you the warmth you need just to make you happy again, but remember to keep that happiness with you forever, even if the cause of it isn't with you anymore.

That's how life works.

It isn't necessary that all angels will have a pair of beautiful wings.

So be careful ! You might have an angel in your life without you knowing.
