---- she's an outcast at high school because 1. She's pale, like ghostly pale unlike the rest of the people, 2. She has a red gem on the center of her forehead which she covers up with her bangs or sometimes a hat and 3. Her voice and demeanor

---- she is quiet, reserved, troubled, brooding, grim, moody, seemingly emotionless, intelligent, studious, sarcastic and generally staying cool, stoic and calm, even in desperate situations.

----  the reason for her emotional restraint is due to the adverse effects her emotions have on her powers. If her emotions become out of control, her powers can become erratic and spontaneous, becoming active without her will

---- her code name is 'Raven' (which is actually a nickname from her adopted mother cause Rachel reminds her of a raven + Mystique finds it funny cause that's her name lol)

---- Alex finds her to be... Unique and intriguing + he takes interest in her

---- both of them have an awkward first interaction because Raven doesn't open up about herself

---- Rachel is an adopted daughter and she never knew who her real parents is

---- Rachel's adopted mother, Connie is actually a friend of her biological mother. Her biological mother left her at Connie's doorstep and with a letter saying, she won't be back and, she disappeared without a trace

---- Connie knows that Rachel's a half-demon

---- but Rachel doesn't get along with her adopted mother but she doesn't mind it at all

---- later on, Connie explains to Rachel about everything, including who her parents are (on later chapter)

---- she never has any friends at school

---- she has trust issues and never really trusts anyone until she knows them better (for example, her first met with Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr)

---- but right now, the only person she trusts is Charles

---- she gets discovered by Charles and Erik after Charles uses the mind machine (you know, that one scene)

---- she's considered to be the most powerful mutant (before Jean Grey)

---- she rarely uses her powers/abilities cause she's afraid she'll hurt someone (BUT, she only uses her powers for minor things, such as making objects floating)

---- and no, she doesn't really shows her powers/abilities during that one scene where other mutants shows off their powers/abilities until Alex and Angel Salvadore keeps on telling her to do it, and finally she does in order for them to shut up and stop bugging her

---- she's still new with her powers/abilities (again, she rarely uses it)

---- she's not really close with the other X-Men members (except... You can decide who)

---- what makes Raven the most powerful mutant is that she's a half demon (her biological is a demon, Trigon while her biological mother is human) + her powers/abilities are really useful and powerful

---- she doesn't join Sebastian Shaw's side

---- Alex tries to get her attention but fails multiple times until Raven finally gets him the attention he wanted
