CASTIEL MICHAEL ALVES HAD BEEN ADOPTED BY HIS TWO FATHERS; Elijah and Joshua ALVES, Elijah had taken Joshua's last name. And, after three years of marriage, decided to adopt a child. They had gone to an orphanage.   And after speaking to Castiel (who at the time was named Xavier), he was adopted by them.

Joshua worked as a FBI agent. And Elijah worked as a lawyer. 

Castiel thought that the Pogue vs Kook was bullshit. Why did it matter? Of course, when voicing the thought; JJ Maybank stated that it was easy for him to say, considering he is a Kook.

They got into an argument, about it. Castiel hasn't wanted for it to escalate, but somehow, JJ made him angry, annoyed to the point where they both were yelling.

A deputy had approached them, a harsh glare at JJ, and asking if JJ was bothering Castiel.

To JJ's surprise, Castiel lied in saying that they were on a debate team, and were getting ready for the next competition. And both played a team, just for the sake of getting inside the other teams head, their thought process.

Surprisingly the lie worked.

Castiel, although he didn't hang out with many people; Rafe Cameron was one of the people he did hang out with. Granted it was because Kelce, Topper and Rafe all, at one point had to have meeting with his father, Elijah. But, they never went to trial, or anything, considering they paid the bail. Or never actually got caught.

Castiel didn't have many friends. Not an actual one. At least, he didn't think he did. But, Rafe Cameron and JJ Maybank both, one day, showed up to his karate tournament.

"What the hell are you talking about? And why the fuck do you care?"

JOSHUA ALVES, ADAM RODRIGUIZ

"That's interesting...because I could have sworn you said you weren't friends with Rafe Cameron."

ELIJAH ALVES, MATTHEW GREY GUBLER

"Okay, at the very least, when you make friends, make sure when you give them my number, it isn't for a murder charge. I'd prefer if you had no crime-making friends. But, stealing I can deal with."

RAFE CAMERON, Drew Starkey

"You know, I was just joking around, but knowing it bothers you...I'll see you around; Pretty boy."
