Jungkook was nervously tapping his foot against the floor, from where he was sitting outside Taehyung's room. He was waiting for a call, and didn't want Taehyung to know. The actor had been sleeping a lot, which the doctors explained as an expected reaction to the medications he was under. Something along the lines that the more he rested, the sooner his body will recover. 

After about 10 more minutes of waiting, Jungkook's phone rang with the call he was eagerly expecting.

"Hello… Jimin, how did it go?... okay… oh-okay… Thank you. How long should we wait? They gotta move fast...  uh-huh… yeah, I got it. Thank you. Please thank the team for me too… no, he's sleeping. Again. I'm outside, I didn't want to disturb.. yeah… I'll let him know later. Besides, there's nothing he can do in the hospital, so I'd rather if he didn't have to stress about this at all…. Yeah, I understand… Okay. I'll talk to you later."

After the call was disconnected, Jungkook tried to calm his breathing. It might seem like an end but things were far from over. In fact, it was just the beginning. Next few days will be crucial. As he walked into Taehyung's room, the only thought in Jungkook's mind was how he would do whatever necessary to protect the man he loves.

"Yes, uncle. I'm at the check in. They will start to board the flight soon, I think."

"Okay. I have some of my people sent there already, just in case."

"I'm scared." Sana's voice was shaking, so was her hand that was clutching the phone like a lifeline. "What will happen now?"

"First you get out of the country. Maybe ask your agency to post that you're away on official business. They can do that right?"

Sana didn't answer. Her agency doesn't know what's happening and she honestly didn't think they would help if they knew either. As soon as her uncle informed her about what's about to come, Sana quickly grabbed a few essentials and left for the airport. She only had minutes to act, not even an hour. Luckily her place was not that far from the airport.

"Sana?" The girl couldn't help but let out a small sob. "Darling, don't be afraid. We can work something out."

"But my career would be ruined." Sana whispered, not wanting to let anyone standing near her to listen. "I can't let him ruin my career like this!"

"I'm sorry, Sana. They had this whole thing running under covers, and I got the alert too late to do anything. I tried to get to them, but both of them were too well protected. There are about 20-30 bodyguards in that hospital, and we don't know how many are hiding. "

"How about-" 

Sana was not able to complete her sentence, as she froze at the sight of the incoming set of people. All of them were making a beeline towards her, leaving very little doubt about why they were there. Sana frantically turned her head from side to side, trying to find an escape route. But to her dismay, a few more people were coming from behind her too.

~~ The nation's top female idol and the main singer of the girl group - Sunshine, Sana Minatozaki, was arrested at the Incheon International Airport a few hours ago. Police has refused to elaborate of her charges, but one of the junior officers confirmed that the arrest was to prevent her from fleeing the country. 

The Internet is buzzing with video's of the idol being taken to a police car, leaving netizens shocked. Some are refusing to believe that their beloved idol would do any wrong while others are running wild with speculations regarding her crimes.

~~Netizens are shocked with the recent updates about the top idol, Sana Minatozaki.

A few days ago, the once nation's top female idol, Sana Minatozaki, was arrested at the Incheon International Airport after she had attempted to feel the country. The chief of police had held a press conference today to inform about the details regarding the charges and netizens are shocked beyond comparison to know about her using her idol status to assist in smuggling illegal drugs in to the country, amoung other less severe charges.

According to the police chief, Sana had refused all the allegations but the police had evidence of large shipments being cleared under her name. A number of officials in the customs office and other related areas are being detained and questioned at the moment. 

Police also had uncovered that the leader of the mafia gang Red Dragon, is actually Sana's uncle. Her phone records shows her being in frequent contact with the the gang leader. Further details regarding the investigations will be issued to the public as deemed by the police.

"Where are you going?" Taehyung asked as he watched Jungkook coming out from the bathroom, dressed in black baggy pants and beige shirt. 

"I have… somewhere to go." Jungkook's reluctance to meet the other's eyes didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung.

"And where is that, exactly?"

"Just.. somewhere." Jung looked at the door as it opened and gave a nod to Hoseok, who just came into the room.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Hoseok asked in a cheery voice, making Taehyung momentarily shift his gaze away from Jungkook.

"Much better." Taehyung answered with a small smile. "You're going with Jungkook too?"

"Uhhh…" Hoseok looked nervous. "Y-yeah.. Kookie has a.."

"A what? Official schedule?"

"Uhhh.. I mean-"

"No." Jungkook sighed. "I don't actually. I'm going somewhere on a personal matter."

Taehyung raised his eyebrows questioningly but Jungkook didn't answer. He held the gaze, matching it with an unwavering one of his own. 

"Kookie-" 

"Can you just trust me on this one, and not ask anything?"

"No. What are you hiding from me? Are you gonna do something dangerous?"

"No, of course not." Hoseok answered and this time, his voice held no space for doubt. "I won't let him do anything dangerous. You can trust me on that."

"Then why aren't you guys telling me what's happening?!"

"Because you'll unnecessarily worry till I come back!" Jungkook threw his hands up with a frustrated sigh. "And I want you to just rest. I'll come back within a few hours and I promise I'll tell you everything then."

"Kookie, I-"

"Do you trust me?"

"Kookie, that's not fair-"

"Do you. Trust me?"

Taehyung gave up under that intense gaze and sighed defeatedly. "Yes. Of course I do."

"Then trust me when I say it'll be okay. I will be with Hobi hyung all the time and will take at least 10 bodyguards with me. Jimin will be here soon, maybe you guys can catch up. Jin hyung said that his work will finish within the hour so he'll be up here too. Don't miss me too much, okay?"

Jungkook ignored Taehyung's dissatisfied mumbling as he gave a soft kiss on his forehead. Then, Hoseok and him were out of the hospital room. He wanted to spend a few more minutes, and reassure Taehyung some more, but he had an important appointment to keep.

Jungkook kept his hands on the table, and leaned on to the backrest of the chair. He wanted to look intimidating. In normal circumstances, Jungkook would not resort to underhand methods like these but when the system itself is filled with loopholes and back doors, he needs to do whatever he can to get justice.

The sound of the door opening made Jungkook break away from his dark thoughts and look up. "Hello, Sana."

The female police officer guided the girl to sit on the chair opposite Jungkook. Sana had lost some of her glowing beauty, and her face seemed to be darkened with a shadow.

"What are you doing here?!" The girl snarled, but Jungkook only smiled. 

"I told you that I will destroy you, if anything happened to him, right?"

Sana looked away stubbornly. "And I already told you, I don't fucking know what you're talking about."

"Okay, let me clear things out for you then." 

Jungkook leaned forward on the table, so that he could speak in a low voice. There were two police officers inside the room but they were standing a little away from the table. So anything whispered will not reach their ears. 

"I know you ordered that hit on Taehyung's life. I know you're involved in all the sabotage attempts on his work and endorsements. And I also know that the reason you did all that is because of his relationship with me."

Sana's eyes looked as if they were seconds away from popping out of their sockets. "W-what? I-I d-don't-"

"Oh save your stuttering for someone else. I neither have the time nor the patience for it. Cause, you know, my fiance is waiting for me. You and your uncle may have thought that he's gone but I luckily for you, he's not. You would not be breathing in front of me like this, if anything had happened to him."

"I-"

"Shut it! Here's what you're gonna do. You're gonna accept all those allegations, plead guilty for all of it. Or, I'm gonna hold up a press conference and tell the world what you did to Taehyung. Then you can add murder charges to your list of crimes. Imagine what his followers would do to you."

"N-no." Sana was shaking badly, while tears ran down her cheek like a river. "Please forgive me."

"You don't deserve forgiveness." Jungkook chuckled darkly. "You deserved to be hanged actually. Your uncle might be the one to pull the trigger but you were the one who gave him the target. You're nothing less than a murderer too."

"P-please, Jungkook, I will-"

"Nothing you would do, can change my mind." Jungkook said as he got up from the chair, signaling the guard that he's done. "I'll give you time till tomorrow. The day after, I'm going to the media with all the information for them to know how you attempted the murder of their beloved actor."

With that, Jungkook walked away, leaving a sobbing girl behind. The sound of her pathetic crying could be heard for only a few seconds, just until the door closed on the visitor's room. 

It's nowhere near enough for what Jungkook wanted as a repentance for what she did to Taehyung, but guess this will have to do. 

When he was back in the hospital, Jungkook told Taehyung everything. He explained the direction of their investigations, the limitations and the lack of evidence on her strike on Taehyung's life. 

"You see, we don't have any concrete evidence regarding her involvement in your accident. We barely had a lead that can be linked to her uncle and that's about it. And also, the investigation team had told Jimin that her charges will most probably not stick. She just has to feign ignorance and pin them all on her uncle, which I'm sure is what her lawyers are advising on. We can fully prosecute her uncle but seeing as we are nowhere near catching him, it's not gonna be worth much too. I just wanted her to pay for what she did to you."

Taehyung gave a soft smile at the dejected look of his fiance, before leaning forward to connect their lips. Jungkook responded enthusiastically, momentarily forgetting about everything else. When they finally pulled back, Taehyung placed his hand over Jungkook's nape and pulled the latter to join their foreheads. 

"You've become quite the manipulator these days. Not gonna lie, it's kinda turning me on."

Jungkook chuckled shyly. "Yeah?"

"You bet."

"Well, I can be anything for you. She deserves much, much more so I definitely won't be losing my sleep thinking about how she got punished."

"Neither will I, baby." Taehyung whispered as he pulled Jungkook into a soft hug. "Neither will I."
