Sam's Pov

        School was pretty good today, except for two things. One: Gabriel is still in the hospital. And two: Jess didn't show up for school today, I hope I didn't give her the flu. I haven't been able to text her because I accidentally left my phone in Gabe's hospital room last night. So when I see the impala pull up into the car loop, I'm more then happy to hop in. I rush over to the passenger door, but then I see Cas sitting there, so I reluctantly get in the backseat. When I close the door, Dean says "I'm sorry I was late Sammy, I had to help Cas out." Yeah I'm sure you helped him. A lot. In the supply closet. I think to myself, I chuckle at the thought. "It's okay Dean I understand." I say to him, he nods and begins our descent to the hospital. When we walk into the lobby, a nice woman with red hair greeted us and said that Gabe was switched out of the ICU earlier that morning, she gave us the room number. When we rounded the corner into Gabe's room, a huge smile spread across his face "Hiya guys!" You could tell that he was happy to see us. I pulled up a chair next to his bed and sat down. He sat up and looked right at me. I told him all about my day. I had his undivided attention, that is until Dean announced "Alright Cas and I are going." I furrowed my eyebrows at him "Where?" I asked. He looked back at me and said "It's Friday night" He gestured to Cas "We are going on our first date." I smiled, Gabe started clapping "Bravo you two." he said. Dean and Cas left shortly after hand in hand. Gabe turned to me and said "You left your phone with me yesterday, don't worry, I didn't go snooping, I wasn't able to crack the code." I chuckled as he handed me my phone, I entered in the four digit password 4--2--2--3. It's funny he wasn't able to guess his own name. The first thing I see is the text from Jess. I decided to read it Hey, listen, I tried to tell you this in person, but I just couldn't, I didn't want to see you sad. I'm moving today, to California, I have no choice. My mom got a new job there, the whole family is being forced to move despite begs and pleas. I tried Sam, but I didn't succeed.  I hope that you find everything that you look for in life. Stay beautiful. I can't believe it, she's gone. I reread it five times over, just to make sure I comprehended it all. I stared at the phone, not knowing what to do, or how to feel, I felt numb. Gabe noticed me acting strange "What happened?" he asked. I look up at him, and choke on the words "Jess is gone."

Gabe's Pov

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally! Samshine is mine!

Sam's Pov

       I look down at my feet, I start crying out of nowhere, silently, I don't want Gabe to know, I don't want sympathy. "Moosicle, don't cry, I hate it when you cry." Wait. Does he care about me? Of coarse he does, we've been friends since pre-k. I look up at him, his eyebrows are furrowed, he looks concerned. "She moved to California yesterday." I say in between tears. He opens his arms and says "Come here." I reach over and wrap my arms around him, he is really warm. He wraps his arms around me, despite the wires hooked to them. We stay like this until I stop crying. When I do, he lets go of me, a cold feeling washed over me, causing me to shiver. Gabe looks away from me, I glance at the wall, then back to him, I then say to him "Gabe." He looks at me "Yes. My Samham." I smile at him, he smiles back, I find myself lost in his whiskey colored eyes for a moment. "Are you going to quit staring at me any time soon, Samsquatch?" I look away, I feel my face become hot from embarrassment. "Don't worry Samshine, I love you too." Did I just hear that? That's when I realize that everything I thought I knew was a lie. I didn't love Jess, I loved Gabe, I just never knew it until now. "I'm sorry Samquatch, I don't where that came fr--" I cut him off.

Gabe's Pov

          His lips crashed against mine. My eyes widened, I was surprised at first, I wondered if it was really happening. I realized that it was real, and melted into it, I kissed him back, lustful. I closed my eyes, I bit his bottom lip, he moaned in response. Guess we both wanted each other all along. I wrap my arms around him and let my fingers run through his long hair. He moved from the chair to my bed, our lips never parting, our tounges slowly started to explore one another's mouths, his hands moved to my waist, pulling me closer to him, I was enjoying this. I hear footsteps, I pull away from Sam, sure enough it was my favorite nurse coming to check on me, her name was Charlie. She walked in and said "Hey Gabe." She smiled and said "So...this is Sam I presume." I nod, I told her how I felt about him, and in return she told me about how she felt about another nurse, we keep each others gayness confidential. Sam started kissing my neck for some reason "Sam.....stop....not in front of Charlie." I whined, Charlie giggled and said "Well, I guess I didn't need to check on you after all." I smiled, and she left. I turn to Sam "Really?" I ask, he chuckles and said "You would've done the same thing." I smile. It's true I would've. But only because I love him, and I know that he loves me.
