Hiding Something

Pacifica's POV:
I woke up to some thumping outside my door 'what is that stupid maid doing now' I thought before I opened my eyes to somewhere, definitely not my room 'Oh yeah' I internally sighed and sat up. Remembering last night put a drop of water into my eye and a frown on my face. But then I remembered Dipper, and how he held me close to him, how he made me smile on the worst day of my life. Visions of the mysterious and dashing boy bounced around my head. 'Wait, what am I thinking?!' I mentally screamed 'I c'an't think of Dipper like that, he's my friend. Besides, loving him would only make things worse.' I sighed out loud this time and got up to start getting ready for the difficult day ahead.
"Mabel, give that back!" I heard Dipper yell in the hall.
"Not until you comb your hair right this time!" Replied Mabel. 'I wonder what that's about.' I finished getting ready and went down stairs, following the voices of Dipper, Mabel and their gruncle Stan.

Dipper's POV:
I was still grumpy about Mabel steeling my hat, I know she was just trying to help me get ready for work but she can be really annoying sometimes. Sitting down at the kitchen table, I fixed my hat and poured myself some orange juice. Mabel, of course, grabbed her Mabel juice out of the fridge. I hear a floor board creak towards the stairs and look over. Pacifica stood sheepishly at the foot of the stairs not knowing whether to come in or not. She was wearing her normal purple dress with tights underneath and a headband but, I was surprised at how little makeup she had on compared to the mask she used to paint on her face, this looked more natural and showed her real beauty.I like it. I like h...
"Hey Pacifica!" Mabel practically shouts breaking me from my day dream "want some Mabel juice?!" Pacifica looks at me confused.
"For your own safety, I suggest not." I say, earning a scowl from Mabel "how was your sleep?" I asked, fixing my hat again.
"As well as you could have expected." She sighed and sat down at the kitchen table, hesitating before pouring her self some orange juice.
Gruncle Stan slammed a big plate full of bacon on the table along with eggs and toast. "Eat up kids!" He said smiling "especially you, wolf boy." Smirking at me, he grabs a handful of bacon and struts off.
"What does he mean by that?" Pacifica asked, her head tilting towards me.
"He said that because Dipper..." Mabel starts to chuckle.
"He means," I interrupt "that... I love to eat bacon!" I blurt out, awkwardly grabbing a piece of bacon and shoving it in my mouth and fixing my hat again. Mabel gives me a strange look but didn't say anything.
***
After breakfast Mabel and Pacifica ran upstairs to share beauty tips and do other girly things while I headed to the shack to start work.
"Hey Dipper." Wendy says with a faint smile, handing me my costume.
This was going to be long day, like usual.

Mabel POV
Dipper shoved a piece of bacon in his mouth quickly and Pacifica looked at me, a little weirded out. 'I guess he doesn't want her to know' I thought before taking Pacifica upstairs, we have a long day ahead of us.

After 3 hours we had successfully finished bedazzling one of Pacifica's suitcases and shared tons of makeup tips and gossip. It was kinda fun having a sister for once, I wish I could do more stuff like that with Dipper but he's more interested in blowing up hot dogs in the microwave with Soos. We go down stairs to get some pit cola, because for some reason Pacifica had never tied one before, and noticed that the mystery shack seemed super busy today. Noisy to.
"Can we go check it out? I've never actually looked in this weird tourist trap before." She asks hesitantly. Without hesitation or thought about my brother, I agreed.

I showed her around the front gift shop area, she seemed pretty immersed into the tour I was giving her until we heard a crowd cheering from the second room that is set up more like an exhibit room. The crowd seemed to be happily amused, which was relieving considering often excited people in the shack end up costing us money. I begin to fix a shelf of merchandise that seemed to be disarranged, not noticing Pacifica sneaking off towards the other room.

Pacifica POV
As Mabel finished her tour of this room, curiosity gets the better of me and I sneak to the source of all the cheering. I stand on a crate, conveniently just sitting there, to see over the heads of the crowd.
There on the stage, I saw Dipper. He was dressed up in brown fur pants with a tail out the back, paw gloves, plastic fanged teeth, and two dog ears on the top of his head. He seemed to be dancing, unhappily, while the crowd chuckled. They threw some coins at him as he continued. (I know what your thinking right now, I'm thinking that too. But this is how it was in the episode it was based after so... No, I can't make it less awkward.) I watched the show pan out until a bell rang and the crowd filed out of the room. Though I stayed, watching.
"Good job kid, but try to be more into it next time. Make it real!" The Twins' Gruncle Stan said as he pick up his money and walked out of the room.

Dipper POV
"Make it real!" Gruncle Stan says as he leaves with his money. I sigh and sit down, waiting for the next crowd to start a show. This is so humiliating, not to mention wrong! Stan must be breaking numerous laws making me do this. I wave my fake tail around in boredom, until I hear a cough from the other side of the room. I thought I was alone.

Hello, I just wanted to say to the one person actually reading this. Hey stranger! If you like this fanfic, you can take it if you want it. If not, I'll just keep writing slow updates. I'm sorry it's kind of mean of me but I have my heart set on another fanfic that I haven't released yet. If anyone wants to talk more about it, don't feel shy in the DMs (wow that sounded stupid... I'm keeping it.) anyway yeah, just let me know! I know it sucks when you find a fanfic you like and the author doesn't write in it.
