Selena walked through the school halls to her locker. She turned the combination lock to put in her combination.

"9-27-2" she thought to herself. She opened her locker to put her black Pikachu backpack inside before shutting it.

She turned only to run straight into a short blond hair boy with blue eyes wearing a black Alolan Vulpix shirt and black jeans. He looked to be around 14 years old.

"Oh... Sorry about that Gabe..." Selena said, turning red in embarrassment. "I should have looked out for where I was going."

"Oh... Um... Don't worry about it..." he mumbled.

"Well... I have to go. Again I'm sorry about that though." Selena replied.

"W-Wait!!" Gabe shouted. He ran towards Selena to catch up to her.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Have you heard about the Jumpstar Arcade?"

"Yes. I'm planning to go there after school with a group of friends of mine. Do you want to come too?" She asked.

"Sure... I'd like to..." he replied.

"Alright. See you later then..." Selena told him before running into Mr. L's Science Room.

Gabe waved to her by the window before rushing to his class. He made it in before the bell rang.

When school finally ended, the group met right outside of the school building.

"Are we ready?" Max asked.

"Not yet... We're still waiting for someone..." Selena answered.

"What do you mean? Feb, Jay, and I are here, who else are we waiting for? Kirby to inhale us..." Max asked.

"No."

Suddenly, Gabe ran towards them.

"Gabe is coming with us to the arcade." Selena replied.

"Oh. Alright then. Well if we're ready, then let's go."

"My dad said that he's going to drive us there." Selena told them.

"Well where is he parked at? Where's his car?" Jake asked.

Selena looked around the cars in the parking lot. She pointed to a white Kia. "There..."

The group of five walked to the car and jumped in.

Max almost bursted out laughing when he saw Selena's dad who was wearing a red flash shirt and blue jeans.

"He looks like Mario..." he whispered.

Selena just stared at Max and tried to hold back a laugh herself. "Let's just go..." she told her dad.

When they arrived at the Arcade, they saw that the Arcade windows had many images of video game characters such as Mario, Luigi with his Poltergust, Boos, Kirby, Link, Q-Bert, Donkey Kong and many more painted on the windows. They quickly rushed in to see many co-workers wearing cosplays of famous Video game characters. One of the male co-workers had blond wavy hair and wore a blue outfit. He looked exactly like Vault Boy from Fallout. Three people sat by the counter. Two young men by the age of 25 were dressed like Mario and Luigi and a young blond girl who was also in her early 20s wore a pink dress like Princess Peach.

A young girl with long brown hair dressed as Daisy caught sight of them. "Welcome to the JumpStar Arcade, February. It great to see you. How can I help you???" She asked.

"We'd like to purchase passes to go in the Arcade." February answered.

"Of course. Each person is 10 dollars for all you can play for the whole entire day. You can also leave and come back and you can still play."

"That's an awesome deal." Selena replied.

They paid for their passes and entered the gaming area.

They walked around to see many classic games like PAC-man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Q-Bert and much more. They turned to a room to the right to see Retro Game Systems plugged in to TVs. A GameCube was sitting on a table with Luigi's Mansion on the TV screen, A Nintendo 64 with Smash Bros. And a SNES with Super Mario World.

They continued walking until they reached the back of the Arcade to see another room with the door cracked. The door read Keep Out! Do Not Enter!

"What do you think is in there?" Max asked.

"I don't know but maybe we shouldn't go in there. The door says to keep out..." Gabe answered.

"Well if they wanted us to stay out then why is the door open?" Max questioned.

"I still don't think we should go in there..." Selena replied.

"Oh come on Infinity I'm just curious..." Max told her.

"Have you ever heard of curiosity killed the cat.."

"Come on... I just want to know what's in there.."

"I'd rather not-" Selena wasn't able to finish her statement when Max grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the door.

"Come on! This could be our chance to see the unknown." Max replied.

Selena sighed. "Fine... But we better not get caught. We need to be careful..."

"We will. In and out!"

They slowly stepped into the dark room. Selena took out her IPhone and turned on her flashlight. She looked down to see an old dusty arcade coin on the floor with a Super Star and two words engraved into it: STAR COIN

On the back of the coin were the words: GAME ON!

"Guys... Come look at this.." Selena announced to get her friend's attention.

The four circled her. "What is it? It's just a coin..." February replied.

"Yes. But I thought this place just opened and they don't use coins here."

"She's right. All the games don't require coins. They're all free to play here." Gabe said.

"Then where did this come from?" Jake asked.

"She found it on the floor, Jake..." Max answered.

"I know that... But how did it get here?"

"I'm not exactly sure. Unless it was forgotten here."

"That doesn't make any sense though."

"W-we should go..." Gabe replied.

"Gabe's right... We payed 50 dollars for us to play video games for the rest of the day and that's what I want to do..." Max added.

Max was about to walk out but the door shut and he heard a low clicking sound from the other side. He turned the knob to open the door but it wouldn't budge. They were locked in...
