Chapter 72 - The End

A lot of years later

Jang Mi glared at Choi Seung-Hyun with angry tears streaming down her face. His expression no different from hers. Her chest heaving up and down, breathing heavily out of anger. Jang Mi ran a hand through her hair and bit her lips to stop herself from yelling too loud. She slowly walked over to one of the side tables and took a small vase off of it. Angrily throwing it at the wall behind Choi Seung-Hyun. She watched as the expensive vase scattered to pieces with a loud bang.

"I told you what I want. Why can't you just let me go?" Jang Mi asked.

Choi Seung-Hyun picked up a vase and flew it at Jang Mi but missed completely. "Let you go? You're asking for a divorce!" He snapped. "And what about our son? Huh?!" Choi Seung-Hyun shouted.

Jang Mi scoffed. "I'm asking for the divorce because we're no longer in love. Despite everything we've been through, I feel like I'm living with a brick wall." She picked up their wedding photo and threw it to the ground. "Our son will be fine living with me. He doesn't need an emotionless father who can't commit to him."

Choi Seung-Hyun ran a frustrated hand through his hair. "You're so selfish! I'm trying to put food on the table and clothes on our back, and you call me emotionless. Why else would I work so hard?"

"You do it because you have to. If you had a choice you wouldn't have married me." Jang Mi shouted.

"That's what you think?" Choi Seung-Hyun snapped.

He walked over to her and placed both hands on each side of her shoulder. Yelling and repeating what he asked. He shook Jang Mi's shoulder violently while she fought to free herself from his hard grip. She started crying as he was.

"Just stop." She sobbed.

Before Choi Seung-Hyun could reply, he was on the ground, holding his nose. Jang Mi looked over to see Ji Soo in his high school uniform, holding his fist. He glared at Choi Seung-Hyun who's now bleeding through the nose all while smirking.

"I told you not to mess with my sister." Ji Soo threatened. "Noona are you okay?" Ji Soo asked, turning to Jang Mi.

"Yah~" Jang Mi cried.

Choi Seung-Hyun stood up and glared at both Jang Mi and Ji Soo. "I'm not signing the divorce papers. We can take this to court. I'll win because I make more money."

Jang Mi sighed and glared daggers at Choi Seung-Hyun. "We'll see."

"Cut!" The director's loud voice boomed from off the scene. "Good job everyone."

Jang Mi sighed and wiped her tears off of her cheek the moment the director yelled from off scene. She chuckled at Choi Seung-Hyun's thumb up. She scrunched up her nose as she made her way over to her husband and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Did I shake your shoulders too hard?" Choi Seung-Hyun asked.

Jang Mi shook her head. "I'm fine." She smiled up at him.

"I really thought you were seriously going to kill me." Choi Seung-Hyun said.

"Yeah Noona, your expression was weird." Ji Soo cut in.

Jang Mi chuckled. "What about the way you came in and punched Seung-Hyun. It was just, wow. Good job Ji Soo-ah. I'm so proud of you." She said petting his hair with her free hand.

"Everyone, transfer over to the next set." The director shouted.

Manager Kim came to take Jang Mi to her dressing room, as the managers for Choi Seung-Hyun and Ji Soo did the same thing. Jang Mi was led to a small room where she shared along side her female co-stars. Her management team stood up the moment she walked in. Jang Mi stripped out of her current clothes and wore the robe that was handed to her. She sat in the chair and let the crew work on her for her next scene.

....

After the shoot, Jang Mi met Choi Seung-Hyun off the set. They walked together to his black celebrity van that parked outside of the SBS building. Like always, he helped her in just before climbing in himself. Then he would reach over and buckle her seat belt for her. It's been this way for years and Jang Mi still felt her heart swell whenever he did so.
They were currently headed to Choi Seung-Hyun's mom's apartment. It wouldn't take a long time to get there. They both had very limited time together since Choi Seung-Hyun and Jang Mi were together on set as co-stars instead of husband and wife. It was different because Choi Seung-Hyun is still Jang Mi's sunbae so he always did put his two cents where ever Jang Mi lacked in certain aspects of her acting performance. However, when she did the same, he would pull out the sunbae card. Jang Mi would retort to pulling out the wife card, causing cricket noises to sound off due to his silence.

"Are you feeling alright?" Jang Mi asked as she reached over and took his hands into hers.

Choi Seung-Hyun sighed. "Yeah. Just tired."

Jang Mi chuckled. "I know. You were on set shooting all your scenes first."

"What about you?" He asked.

"My stomach is a little sore."

"What?! Why?" He suddenly shouted in a panicking tone.

"Omo!" Jang Mi says with a hand over her chest. "You scared me." She rolled her eyes. "It's because I'm starving."

Choi Seung-Hyun clicked his tongue. "Yah~" he said flicking her forehead lightly. "Don't scare me like that." He smiled. "My mom is cooking a lot of food. You know how she is."

Jang Mi chuckled and nodded. They finally pulled up into the parking complex. Choi Seung-Hyun helped her out of the car as they made their way into the building. Unlike the first time Jang Mi arrived, she wasn't scared or nervous to see Choi Seung-Hyun's mother again. She had an amazing bond with her mother-in-law and she felt the love a daughter is supposed to receive from a mother.
Choi Seung-Hyun entered the code and went into the apartment. Jang Mi's stomach growled involuntarily at the smell of the food that filled the house. Jang Mi went straight for the kitchen and found her mother-in-law chopping away at vegetables. Like clock work, Jang Mi gave her a back hug.

"Hi mom!" She said cheerfully.

"You're here." She smiled at Jang Mi. "Are you guys hungry?"

"Is that even a question?" Jang Mi chuckled. "Where is he?"

"Hye-Yoon has him." She pointed out of the kitchen.

Jang Mi made her way to Hye-Yoon's room while Choi Seung-Hyun went to talk to his mom. She opened the door and peeked inside to see Hye-Yoon playing with Jang Mi's freshly one year old son. He was crawling on his hands and knees, laughing as Hye-Yoon played with him.

"How's my little man doing?" Choi Seung-Hyun asked as he came up behind Jang Mi. He wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his chin on her shoulder. "Hye-Yoon Noona has been teaching him how to walk better."

Jang Mi chuckled. "Jae Joon is tough. Just like my dad." Jan Mi smiled.

Choi Seung-Hyun shook his head. "Although we named him after your dad and I've never gotten the privilege to meet him, I see the same spark that I've seen in you, in his eyes." Choi Seung-Hyun says kissing her cheek from behind. "He's strong like you. I have no doubt you also got that from your father."

Jang Mi looked at him and smiled. Placing a small kiss on his lips. She finally broke free from Choi Seung-Hyun's back hug when she heard the doorbell ringing. She knew instantly it was the other members of Big Bang, and their girlfriends. As well as her two siblings and Ji Hoon's, somewhat, girlfriend.

"Hye-Yoon unni." Jang Mi says. Jae Joon happily crawled over to her. "Thank you for watching on him." She said picking Jae Joon up.

Hye-Yoon waved her off. "Don't worry about it. He's my nephew." She smiled.

Between the several years that Jang Mi was married to Choi Seung-Hyun, she was indeed happy. She couldn't love a man any less than he loved her. It wasn't always easy for them both. They've been trying to have a baby and Jang Mi had two miscarriages in the past two years but she finally received hope when she gave birth to Jae Joon, named after her father. Currently four weeks pregnant, she couldn't ask for anything more.
As for career wise, Jang Mi had successfully released two full albums and returned to a YG family concert, this time with her own music. She held two concerts, one, touring around Asia, and the other touring around America and Europe. It was hard work and tired her out easily but compared to others in the company, she wasn't anywhere near their album releases or the amount of concerts they've held. Jang Mi did win a few awards in both her acting and music career. She acted in two movies, one was a hit, while the other was so-so. She also acted in four successful dramas based off of manghwas, which she didn't mind at all. Her fan base grew into unimaginable numbers and mostly outside of Korea. Where Jang Mi placed high feminism power into her music and mixed it up with modern sexy culture, she easily caught the attention of westerners who like the ideal type of a strong woman. She didn't mind doing them, but her husband did. He was in his mid thirties now and didn't want his mid twenties wife flaunting her amazing body. However, Choi Seung-Hyun had no say in the way Jang Mi writes her music, nor did he have a say in what she wore to perform them.
As for Choi Seung-Hyun, after several years, he's slowly starting to get the grip of being married. One thing always stuck to him when his sunbaes would give him advice on marriage. It was always to cherish the wife and kids. And never go against the wife. Which Choi Seung-Hyun had been starting to understand. His wife being happy and pulling the strings, their marriage will be happy. In all honesty, Choi Seung-Hyun made most of the very important decisions, like where to live, where to eat, bills, house payments and everything under the sun and it was due to the fact that Jang Mi's never ending tendency to be indecisive. But for petty little things like the way Jang Mi danced in her performances, was all on her own terms. Choi Seung-Hyun could only do so much to control that aspect of her life.
As for Jang Mi's siblings, it was easy to tell that Ji Soo had finally made it into a company. He did fail his last two auditions with YG Entertainment and CJ Entertainment. Which caused him to work even harder. After trying the third time, Ji Soo finally got signed onto JYP Entertainment and instantly became a company family alongside Min Hyorin. Started doing small rolls here and there and built up his name. He was offered to play as Jang Mi's youngest brother, which he easily took the offer in working alongside his noona. He still trained with Ji Hoon to help fixate his figure to help get better roles in the future, which helped immensely. He eventually did get first lead and led to him winning tons of awards.
As for Ji Hoon, he was in a some relationship with Park Bom. He was too stupid to define the relationship but the two have been spotted together in public on many occasions. He was the only one in the group who called her Jennifer and they spoke English to each other a lot. Aside from his falling love life, Ji Hoon still fought in the ring. Successfully won a ton of championships along the way. Of course Park Bom was there cheering him on. When he won, he did that admirable spin with Park Bom in his arms while in the octagon. It was in the moment sort of thing and Jang Mi was annoyed with her brother's slow actions.
Jang Mi's mother slowly gotten better. Jang Mi was able to visit her and introduce her mom to her husband. She slowly started to forgive her mother for the way she had been raised. Jang Mi knew deep down inside, she wouldn't be married to Choi Seung-Hyun if it wasn't for her. However, she couldn't trust her but she could forgive her. She just wanted to make sure her mom was getting better. And as soon as she's out of the psych ward, Jang Mi made the decision to cut all ties with her. So long as she's healthy, Jang Mi found no reason to have her mom in her life.
As for the Big Bang members. All of them slowly fell into relationships through out the years. It was like someone was knocking them off the market one by one. (You'll all have to wait and see!)

As for Choi Seung-Hyun and Bae Jang Mi, this is the end of their story. They have one son and a child on its way. They have an amazing group of friends and family that they cherish dearly. Both happily married and successful in both their careers, they will live happy and be together to smooth out anymore bumps that threatens their smooth road. This is the complete story of how Bae Jang Mi and Choi Seung-Hyun fell in love.
