A knock on Jan Mi's dressing room door broke her attention on her vocal warm ups. She eyed the door as Manager Kim opened it. Jang Mi's smile widen completely as she saw her brother enter and not by himself. Kang Ji Soo entered behind him shyly. Just like Jang Mi had predicted, he would look somewhat forced. She made Ji Hoon pick up Ji Soo before the concert started. She even knew he would be working instead of coming to the concert. It made finding him easier for Ji Hoon.
However, while they were on their way, Ji Hoon had texted Jang Mi about the real reason Ji Soo was crying that night. He was only eighteen (Korean age) and was too old to be living in an orphanage, so they just kicked him out. He was struggling to keep up with his living expenses and trying to keep up with the constant need to spend money on the art school he was currently attending. It was getting hard for him to continue on this way. He had been wanting to drop out but since he was half way through, he couldn't bring himself to do so, too afraid of regret. Kids in school didn't like him because he's poor and doesn't have parents. It was ridiculous and made Jang Mi's eyes brim with tears. However she couldn't shed a tear as she had gotten scolded from Bora. It'll smear. Don't you dare let those tears fall! Mascara and eyeliner are not cheap! She would shout causing Jang Mi too nod and stop the crying.

"Ji Soo-ah." Jang Mi cheered walking over to him. He bowed and greeted her but she smiled and took him into a hug. "Thank you for coming."

His cheeks turned red from the hug but he smiled. "Thank you for kidnapping me."

Jang Mi chuckled. "If you're going to report that to the police, blame it on my brother. He did all the kidnapping."

Ji Hoon scoffed. "Yeah but because I was ordered to do so by the big bad gang leader." Ji Hoon teased which Jang Mi replied by maturely sticking out her tongue.

Ji Soo stood awkwardly in the dressing room but he started to questionJang Mi's outfit the moment he noticed it. "Aren't those 2ne1 unifroms?" He asked.

Jang Mi chuckled. "Oppa, take Ji Soo and go stand on the side of the stage. Make sure you guys don't block anyone."

Ji Hoon nodded and wished his sister good luck in English so Ji Soo wouldn't get the hint. Jang Mi went back to her vocal coach who was helping her warm up her vocals. She took this part of singing seriously since the lack of vocal warm ups when she was younger got her into this mess. She wanted to be sure her vocal cords were warmed up completely and that's what the vocal coach had been there helping her do. Jang Mi had been warming up her vocals since the stage director came to inform her that 2ne1 will be performing right after Ikon finishes their song. The televisions in the dressing room displayed Winner had just finished their performance and Ikon was going to be entering the stage.
Jang Mi's stylist was currently making sure the ear piece in her ear was secure while the sound guy gave her her mic. Usually Park Bom had a green mic but she was given a bright neon yellow mic with pink roses on them. She thought it was too fancy but shrugged it off. The mic guy had already made sure the mic was secured through the sound system as well as her ear piece. This wasn't for Jang Mi to worry about but for Manager Kim to worry about. He's been running around behind the scene making sure Jang Mi's mic and ear piece were intact. He also made sure that the stage was alright for her to perform on.
Jang Mi had felt bad because he only knew how to be a manager for her as an actress. He was doing all kinds of things now that she's becoming a singer. He was pestering people to take care of her as their sunbae. Especially Ji Yong who had informed Jang Mi about Manager Kim's cute naive personality. Jang Mi was happy that her manager was doing crazy stuff like threatening the stage crew. He was worried that when Jang Mi gets lifted from underground, the stage will collapse and getting her hurt because it wasn't put together well. Manager Kim was having his own mental break down. Meanwhile, Manager Park had sat on the sofa eating doughnuts and drinking soda while watching the different artists perform on the television in the dressing room.

"Bae Jang Mi-ssi, Ikon is almost done. You need to come out now." The stage director said entering into Jang Mi's dressing room.

She turned and faced her management crew. "Jang Mi-ah, Fighting!" Manager Park shouted.

"Unni, you can do it!" Bora shouted with a fist.

"Go get them." Eugene smiled while clapping the flat iron. "Even your extensions are cheering you on." Jang Mi smiled

"We're proud of you Jang Mi. We know you can do this. Go and have fun." Manager Kim smiled while taking her in for a hug.

"Don't cry! You're going to smear my hard work!" Bora shouted.

Jang Mi chuckled. "I'll make you guys proud."

Jang Mi followed the stage director as he lead her to the back of the stage. The three members of 2ne1 were there in their black uniforms while Jang Mi wore her grey one. Ji Yong had promised Jang Mi that he'd make Choi Seung-Hyun watch them. It didn't make her any less nervous. The stage turned dark and the stage director shouted go for the members of 2ne1 and the back up dancers to enter the stage. A few backup dancers were staying behind to cover Jang Mi so when the time was right, she can make her way to the stage, completely blocked.
As soon as Come Back Home started, the crowd cheered loudly while waving their lightsticks in the air proudly. Jang Mi watched as she waited for her cue to walk across the stage. CL started her part. Singing and dancing flawlessly. Finally Minzy started to sing her part doing the choreography without any mistakes. As soon as Dara started to sing, the stage director darkened the back side for Jang Mi to enter with the other backup dancers. Dara's part finally ended and Jang Mi held her mic to her lips.

"Come back home! Can you come back home?" Jang Mi sang.

The crowd cheered unexpectedly at seeing Jang Mi and not Park Bom. Jang Mi fell in sync with the other three girls in the dance as she sang her part of the song beautifully. She couldn't be more happier as she danced and sang her part with three members of 2ne1. Even though she wished it was all four of them, she was more than happy with just three. In the future, she would love to have Park Bom back and performing while Jang Mi watched from the side lines. A collaboration with any of the four would also make Jang Mi's life complete. Jang Mi was living her dream and she wasn't going to slow down any time soon.
