Chapter 12 - Owned Body Parts
Seung-Hyun sat in his car driving to the one person he needed to hear out his problems that happened because she ignored him for almost a week. Since finishing his schedule, people have been calling him none stop about the incident that happened behind the set of Inkigayo. President Yang called as well saying the two did a good job and to keep it up. Seung-Hyun had yet to see the upside of this. Somehow his mother had called informing him that she wanted to meet her. He didn't want his mom or sister to meet Jang Mi. Nothing was wrong with her but he felt wrong for deceiving his family. Yet he couldn't tell them without asking Jang Mi for permission. In the end, if he told his mother and sister the real reason they were dating, his mother would have the wrong idea about Jang Mi. He knew that his sister would have a negative view of her as well. He just wanted a peaceful fake relationship to help YG bur it felt too real.
Seung-Hyun finally arrived to the apartment building -that looked on the verge of falling- and got out of his car. He climbed up the four flights of stairs and finally reached her apartment door. He rang the doorbell a few times only to get no answer. It wasn't until he started pounding did he hear her stumbling and falling. Loud groans of pain were heard from the other side of the door. Seung-Hyun had to hold back a laugh as her tiny voice threatened who ever dared to bother a sleeping actress at this hour. He couldn't believe a girl like Jang Mi could still walk perfectly fine on her own two feet. She fell all over the place. So far every time they met, she was falling or flying herself at a wall. Either way, she is too clumsy for it to be considered cute but more nerve-wracking than anything.
Jang Mi flew the door open and gave a piercing glare to Seung-Hyun. After noticing who it was she sighed out in annoyance. Seung-Hyun however, took in her appearance. Her long hair was now pushed to one side of her head in a huge mess as it made its way down her chest. She wore a white knitted off the shoulder sweater that was three sizes too big. As Seung-Hyun's eyes made its way down her body, it stopped just at the hem of her sweater. It was short. Really short. The sweater stopped just above the midpoint of her thighs. However, it showed off the smooth pair of legs she owned. She only wore shorts the same length as the hem of her sweater. Seung-Hyun instantly choked on air he took into the wrong pipe. He couldn't keep his eyes off her smooth legs. Not until Jang Mi had coughed.
"So you're a man after all." She joked. "What are you doing here?" She stood in her open doorway not bothering that his eyes kept going from her eyes, to her exposed collarbone all the way down her legs.
"Ah, yes." Seung-Hyun swallowed hard. "Do you mind if I come in?"
"I do mind!" Jang Mi folded her arms across her chest firmly. "You woke me up! I'm sure you have a busy schedule tomorrow. Probably more busier than mines but I still need rest." Jang Mi loved sleep more than she loved meat which was saying a lot.
"Jang Mi, I came to talk about the incident at Inkigayo."
Seung-Hyun smiled as Jang Mi dropped her hands and welcomed him in. He noticed that her interior design hadn't change a bit since the last time he had come. He felt like he needed to lend her a few of his furniture he had in his large collection. He knew he could since he owned a lot but he wouldn't know which one he could easily give up. He loved all of them. Yet, he looked at the small table in the center of Jang Mi's living area and frowned. The frown on his face caused Jang Mi's eyebrows to furrow out of irritation as they continued to stand aimlessly around her living room.
Jang Mi took in the way Seung-Hyun's tall body stood in her living room making it smaller than it already was. He looked lost standing in such a small area. Yet, Jang Mi leaned up against the wall continuously watching him. She just noticed the way Seung-Hyun held himself. He dressed himself stylishly with a black long sleeve shirt obviously made out of cotton. His pants went nicely with his shirt. He topped it off with styling his hair in its usual split and wave. Not only did Seung-Hyun have good style in the fashion department, his facial features were what made girls swoon. Jang Mi liked the way his jaws were sharp and defined in a very masculine way. His lips are small but not too small where it didn't match the rest of him. In fact, it made him look more charismatic than most guys did. Jang Mi couldn't even start on the look of his eyes. They gave off a huge wave of intensity to anyone who stared into them for too long. Seung-Hyun is the epitome of a man. Jang Mi made a note to look at him more often when she had the chance.
"Like you said the rumors have been jumping into the ears of famous people." Seung-Hyun turned to face Jang Mi's relaxed body leaned up against the wall. "I'll apologize for that."
"Nothing to apologize for. It's what we wanted." Jang Mi said taking her body off the wall. "Isn't that what we wanted? It's faster than I wanted it to be but-" She paused for a second before continuing. "It's good. You did good."
"Are you sure?" He asked looking into Jang Mi's eyes who instantly avoided the eye contact. "I denied the assumptions people made." He wasn't sure if she was being sincere because she was mad about it earlier when it happened. "Is that good too?"
"Yeah. If you were to tell them you were dating me, people would ask unnecessary questions." Jang Mi yawned while stretching her limbs. "Don't famous people hide their relationships before letting the public know?"
Seung-Hyun didn't answer due to a certain distraction. His eyes glued to Jang Mi's legs that showed when her sweater went higher from her stretching activity. Jang Mi looked at the way his Adams apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed his saliva. His eyes were filled with hunger. Jang Mi rolled her eyes at the still fact, he is indeed a man. Jang Mi took the hem of her sweater and pulled it down lower to keep the eyes of fury off of them.
Jang Mi scoffed. "How can you openly stare at my legs?" Jang Mi glared at him.
"How can you openly show your legs when a man is around?" Seung-Hyun replies with a smirk displayed highly on his lips.
Jang Mi shrugs. "These are my legs."
"And these are my eyes." Seung-Hyun raised an eyebrow.
Jang Mi cringed. "Are we filming a drama right now?" She smirked watching his smile instantly fade. "Can we just talk about this situation never?"
Seung-Hyun shook his head. "I came all the way here to talk about it. It'd be easier if someone at least charged their cellphones."
Jang Mi sighed a defeating sigh. "I promise the situation is fine." A yawn once again spread through Jang Mi's face. "The cast has a press conference tomorrow! I really need to sleep." Seung-Hyun nodded understanding her situation. "It's late are you sure you can drive?"
Seung-Hyun tilted his head to the side. "If I'm not, are you going to let me stay in here?" He asked.
"Sure. Why not?" Jang Mi shrugged. "If you want to stay, sleep on the living room floor."
"Are you sure? It's not going to be uncomfortable for you right?"
"How would it be uncomfortable? I'd rather have you sleeping safe in the living room than driving and falling asleep on the road." Jang Mi walked into her room and came out with thick comforters. "Here you'll need these."
"Why are there so much blankets?" Seung-Hyun asked lifting the heavy sack.
"I have no heat." She smiled in a cheeky manner.
"What about my clothes?"
Jang Mi eyed his body. "I think I have clothes for you." She disappeared into her room once again only to return with boy clothes. "Here. Wear these. They should fit."
Seung-Hyun instantly noticed they were male clothing. "Who's clothes are these?"
Jang Mi stiffly replied, "Don't worry about it. Get some sleep. You're probably busy tomorrow too." With that Jang Mi left Seung-Hyun in her living room to set up his own bed and find his own way to the restroom to change his clothes.
