Chapter 9 - Remind You Of Anyone?
Lina sat on Su-Bin's bed with a bowl of bibimbap in her lap. She was stuffing her mouth when Su-Bin exited from the restroom with a towel wrapped around her body and a towel wrapped in her hair. Su-Bin made her way to her vanity and sat in front of it. Lina looked at her expectantly and feeling as if someone were watching her, she looked up and stared at Lina through the mirror. She had one of those looks that she knew meant she wanted to gossip.
"So, Seungri is cute." She started.
Su-Bin shook her head at Lina's cuteness. "Yeah he is."
"So, what is it like working for him?" She asks.
Su-Bin shrugged her shoulder. "He doesn't really come around the academy while I'm working. Usually when he does, it's just to check in on things and then he leaves."
Lina was quiet for a second. She was thinking. It was dangerous when Lina started thinking. Anything could come out of her mouth. She was those type of girls who seemed inoccent but was most definitely not. Of course Su-Bin knew she had a huge impact on Lina's dirty side of her personality, but a lot of it was stimulated from her own desires. Most of the time, Lina couldn't talk to her because most of the dirty things she had to say involved her brother. Which meant she'd rather saw off her ears and dig out her eyes then to hear anything involving him.
"Are you gonna try to sleep with him?" She finally blurted out, smiling like a little child who swore for the first time.
"Lina," Su-Bin started, "I would never try to seduce the guy but I mean if he wanted to I would jump into that boat and rock it." She smiled cheekily. "Besides, I've never got to do it with any idol before."
Lina looked at her oddly. "Yes you did. Back in 2007, you slept with Lee Joon."
Su-Bin thought for a bit but shook her head. "Nope, it was before their debut so it didn't count. How did you even remember that? I had totally forgot I slept with him." She said sighing. "Anyway, I'm going to continue working. If he wants to hit it, then he can."
Lina smiled. "When he does, you have to tell me everything!"
"If he does." She replied nonchalantly.
..................
Seungri laid on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Just like Su-Bin had been talking about him to her best friend, his thoughts had wondered over to Su-Bin a couple times while laying down. His thoughts wondered exactly what type of family was she in to have a brother like that. He could see his tattoos that peaked out from beneath the collar of his shirt while he held that man captive. It was odd. In some ways, they both seem to carry the same aura but both carried it differently. It was hard to explain exactly.
The way Su-Bin spoke and carried herself, reminded him of someone. Su-Bin was a badass but it was obvious she has a heart of gold. Just who was it that she reminded him of.
Suddenly, his bedroom door slammed open and in the door way stood his beautiful mother. She glared at him as she held a tiger grass hand broom in her hand. She had a panda sheet mask on and her hair tied up into a pretty ponytail. She wore a pretty dress for unknown reasons but she looked as if she we ready to go out.
"Hey mom! I'm just going to be here for a bit." Seungri smiled.
"How old are you Seung-Hyun?" She asked calmly which was never a good sign.
"I'm 30 years old." He says sitting up. "Why mom?"
Her eyes instantly changed. "Then why the f*ck can't you put the f*cken toilet seat down after you use the bathroom?" She says beating him up with the broom.
"Ah! Mom! It hurts!" He whined rolling all over the bed before falling off the other side.
"Why didn't you flush the toilet either? I fell into your disgusting pee!" She says jumping on top of his bed to chase him as she beat him with the broom.
"I'm sorry!" He yells.
"You're sorry? How can you find a girl if every time you come home, the toilet seat stays up? That girl will date you and fall into the toilet. Then she's going to flush herself away from your bullshi*t." She snapped before inhaling and exhaling a couple of times. "Have you eaten?" She says with a softer expression.
Seungri pouted in the corner like a child. He couldn't believe how fast his mother changed her attitude. Of course he was away from home a lot due to his career choices so he barely saw this nasty side of his mom. He wasn't at all used to it. Now as an older man, he wanted to spend a lot of time at home with his family but his mom preferred him elsewhere. She found his upbringing a bit wrong and she couldn't blame anyone but him for it.
"No." Seungri finally answered his mom.
"I made your favorite." She smiled.
Seungri perked up excitedly. "Gamjatang?"
She looked at him stiff and smiled. "I meant, I made Hana's favorite dish.
"Yukgaejang?" He asked still smiling.
Hana's favorite dish was Yukgaejang. It was a type of beef stew that wasn't so spicy but it was good nonetheless. Seungri also didn't mind it so he was alright with the choice.
"Yukgaejang? Your sister likes Yukgaejang?" His mom asks sighing. "Does nobody like Ramyeon anymore?"
Seungri instantly began whining. "Mom!"
She glared at him. "Fine, then starve."
With that she left. He did follow his mom out to eat. His sister sat with them which was unusual because she was always working. He greeted his dad who had probably just arrived since he wore a suit. They all ate and joked around while talking about how their day went. Seungri Of course didn't mention anything that happened with Su-Bin. Had his mother known, she would pour the whole pot of Ramyeon over his head. While it was hot.
Nothing could come good from making your own mother angry.
