Chapter 12 - Too Dangerous For Su-Bin
Su-Bin was leaving for work when she was stopped in front of her house. The man has two streaks of silver hair on each side of his head. His face wrinkled around his mouth and eyes. People might mistaken him as someone who smiles often due to happiness and contentment in life, if only they knew his smiles were for wicked reasons. His white suit, clean and pressed, as if he wore no sins. Between his index and middle finger, a thin white cigarette with the end lit, emitting nasty smoke that disappears in the air. Seeing him caused a small bubble of anxiety to start in the core of her stomach. She wondered why he was here, when he usually sends someone to fetch her. She hoped this had nothing to do with her.
After seeing them, Su-Bin turned the other way to walk, but the man called out her name. "Cha Su-Bin." He says, inhaling his cancer stick.
Closing her eyes and breathing heavily, Su-Bin turned around. "What?" She snapped.
He waved her over, waiting until she finally stopped a good distance before him. When she's close enough, his hand swung back, landing a loud slap to her left cheek. The force caused her to fall on to her butt. Forcing herself through the pain, she quickly got up, spitting out blood from her cheek scraping against her teeth.
"Show some respect. I'm still your father." He snaps, throwing the cigarette butt onto the floor, using his foot to kill the smoke.
Su-Bin only laughed. "Respect." She repeated before nodding and looking at her father.
With her spunk of a personality, she gave him a deep bow as if he were someone of high importance or someone who had died and Su-Bin made a memorial for him. Holding her hands out in front of her body, she put her head between her arms as she slowly bent down to cross her legs. Bowing deeply to him like you would in dated dramas to a king.
"Your highness." She says getting back up and speaking to him in a tone that was often heard in dated dramas. "Does this satisfy your ego."
Another slapped sounded, this time, it cut the corner of her lip. "Do you want to die?"
"Yes." Su-Bin replied seriously.
Suddenly a black car pulled up. Turning to see who it was, Hong Bin stepped out from behind. Su-Bin rolled her eyes and debated to run while everyone was distracted. However, their attention quickly turned back over. Hong Bin walked over to her father and gave him a respectful bow.
"Father, I will take care of Su-Bin." He says. "She will tell me."
"I ain't telling you sh*t. Even if I die right here, I'll die happily knowing I couldn't give you guys what you wanted. My last dying breath will be used to curse all of you." Su-Bin spoke up before glaring at them. "Thinking I'd give you bastards the time of day." She says clicking her tongue.
Hong Bin gave her a side glance of annoyance before bowing to her father again. "I will take her now."
Hong Bin took Su-Bin's arm and pulled her along to the car he had come out from earlier. Su-Bin fought him all the way to the car. Punching his arm with her free hand but it deemed useless. Opening the back of the car, Hong Bin pushed his sister into the car and slammed the door shut. She angirly kicked the door and looked at him who claimed the driver's seat.
"Hey small d*ck! Where the hell are you taking me?" She snapped as Hong Bin began speeding out of the apartment area.
"Shut the hell up Su-Bin! I just saved your ass back there." He snapped.
Su-Bin made a sour face while glaring st uim through the review mirror. "Save my ass? Does it look like I need you're f*cken saving? When in my life have I ever needed you help?"
Hong Bin didn't expect Su-Bin to do what she did next. While slowing to a stop, Su-Bin jumped out of the car. Her body rolled on the ground until she came to a stop. Cursing out loud, Hong Bin climbed out but Su-Bin was already up and running. Her thighs scraped from rolling roughly on the asphalt. Before Hong Bin could get to her, Su-Bin jumped onto a bus. Instantly leaving when she got on. Seeing him run after the bus, Su-Bin flipped her brother off through the window, smirking at successfully running away. For now.
..........
Su-Bin entered the academy, feeling the cool air conditioning fall over her heated body. Seungri was working in the academy again due to Man Suk still being out sick. Upon seeing her, he greeted her happily. However, he noticed instantly her cheek is slightly bruised and the corner of her lip is cut. Now that he was looking good, he also noticed how she was limping and her face was scrunching up in slight pain. Giving it a closer look, Seungri saw her thighs and knees were completely scraped. Some of the scratches were so bad that a bit of blood was dripping down her thigh.
"What the hell happened to you?" Seungri asks, taking hold of her arm to stop her.
Su-Bin smiled. "This is what happens when you jump out of a moving car."
Looking at her in utter disbelief, it dawned on Seungri that she was being serious. Without asking too much about the situation, he sighed. Bending down, he placed an arm behind her knee and the other one on her back, carrying her bridal style through the academy.
Struggling to get free, Su-Bin had originally thought Seungri was the weak playful type but he was able to carry her so seriously. "What the hell are you doing?" She snapped.
"Shut up." Seungri says.
Su-Bin finally stayed quiet. She was surprised by the authority behind Seungri's voice. He meant business. She was compelled to shut her mouth just because he told her to. If it were anyone else, she was sure she would have dropped kick them in the face.
Seungri entered Man Suk's office and placed her on to the coffee table. She watched in utter bewilderment as he rounded the desk and returned with a first aid kit.
"You're going to get hurt jumping out of moving cars." Seungri placed the first aid kit beside her leg. "Don't move." He demanded.
Su-Bin couldn't do anything but listen. No, she felt like because he demanded it so gruffly, she had no choice. He demanded her not to move and she listened. She couldn't understand what was happening so she just blamed it on the fact that her thighs were hurting from the asphalt and her cheeks were throbbing.
Su-Bin watched as Seungri took out a Qutip and sprayed some disinfectant on the end. He slowly leaned forward to disinfect the cut on her lip. After being sure of disinfecting it, he placed a small bandaid over the open cut.
"Why would you look like this?" He asks himself, putting a paste over her cheek.
"It's really none of-"
Cutting her off, he made sure he spread the paste over her cheek evenly, "This will help your bruise heal faster." He says sitting straighter and looking her in the eye. "Don't speak."
Su-Bin rolled her eyes but she obeyed. Never has she been so obedient. It could have been because deep down she knew he wouldn't hurt her intentionally. He is the same guy who apologized over and over about squeezing her butt and then continued to keep a respectful distance. Why was this making her trust him more? Why was her heart fluttering?
Just as she thought he was done, he took a disinfectant wipe from the kit and started slowly wiping over the cuts on her thighs. Every time she hissed in pain, he would apologize for hurting her then blow over the cuts ever so gently. She continued to watch him mesmerized by his movement as he began putting a cream over it. He told her it would help so that none of the cuts would scar her and ruin her nice legs. He carefully put padding over her cuts before slowly and carefully wrapping each thigh with and elastic bandage.
Her heart was doing it again, fluttering. With who's permission? Over something so trivial like bandaging her wounds. She really had to be careful around Seungri.
He's dangerous for her.
