Chapter 10 - Back To Seoul

Nabi sighed. Looking at the house that she had grown up in since she was young. It was a small village made mostly of farmers and small business owners. Out of the whole village, there were only five shops open. And two were new. So in such a small village, she had no doubt that her house was just a small house that fit the perfect description for this village. Outside, in the small yet warm courtyard, sat a large table where Nabi and Nara had spend endless nights laying down and gazing up at the stars while their mother was working late. They would also bring out a small table to eat on it and enjoy the beautiful air. At the far end of the courtyard sat jars and jars of onggi pots that were probably fermenting things her mom had placed inside them. The small wall that was probably the same height as Nabi, surrounded the whole area to protect Nabi's house. Usually from wild animals that roamed around the forest near their village. Despite all the things she loved about her home, she needed to leave since she had work the next day.

"My daughter, don't worry!" Nabi looked away from her home and looked over to her mom who smiled happily at her. "You'll be home again next weekend."

Nabi frowned while water brimmed her eyes. "Which means I won't see you for the next five days." Nabi took hold of her mother's small frame and hugged her tightly against her. "My home is where I get my energy from."

She patted Nabi's back. "My daughter, is so pitiful." After breaking apart, she wiped Nabi's tears that rolled down her cheeks. "Don't cry. You're going to make me cry. Your home will always be waiting for you." She smiled.

"I love you mom!" Nabi said walking towards her car that was . outside of her house. "I'll come back this weekend."

Nabi's mother smiled and waved as Nabi got into her car. She started the engine, feeling the car slightly vibrate alive, and drove off. She continued to drive down the dirt road until she hit the highway that would soon lead her to the long trip back to Seoul. As she continued to drive and finally stopped at a stop light, her tears couldn't be contained as she started to sob. She missed her home already and didn't want to return back to Seoul. She didn't want to work nor did she want to see anyone for that matter. She has only been working at YG Entertainment for a week and she hated it. Working in that environment was something she didn't like to do. She was used to the way idols work but she didn't like it.

After the long drive to Seoul and the the long drove through it, Nabi arrived at the building where she stayed in one of the dorms. She drove into the underground parking lot and drove to her designated parking spot. Turning the engine off, she sat in her car for a good five minutes before sighing, and swinging her door open to get out. She reached over and took a hold of her duffle bag with all her clothes she used over the weekend, and headed towards the elevators that would lead into the lobby of the building.

Nabi waved at the security guard who sat in his booth in the front lobby, and went to the second set of elevators. She was tired from driving such a long distance to Seoul. She waited for the elevators to open, and when they finally did, Kwon Jiyong stood inside, ready to step off.

Looking up and spotted Nabi, he stood still in his spot. He was shocked seeing her there. Her hair was left down, as always, but slightly frizzy. Her outfit, one he was starting to see was her way of dressing, consisted of an oversized shirt and blue jeans. This time her jeans were long and had rips in them. In her small hands, she held an army green duffle bag that looked fully packed. She looked extremely tired as she stood there with slightly red eyes and small dark bags under them.

"Nabi-ssi." Kwon Jiyong started.

Nabi bowed politely. "Hi." She said getting in the elevator. "I saved your number so that I know it's you if you call again."

Kwon Jiyong smiled. "Alright. You look tired. Go get some rest." He said stepping outside of the elevator and stopping the door from closing. "I'll pick you up for work in the morning."

Nabi nodded and bowed. "Thank you. I'll talk to you later." She said and waved as the doors slowly closed.

Kwon Jiyong was currently heading out to see Bae Jang Mi who had been pestering him to come over. They, Bae Jang Mi and Choice Seung-Hyun, had finally arrived back to Korea after their honeymoon in Hawaii. It was late and it was the exact time that Bae Jang Mi usually bothered him to bring food over. He was sure that the other members were heading out to Choi Seung-Hyun's house as well. He hasn't seen them, the Big Bang members, since the wedding. So he was happy to hang out with his brothers after so long. He walked out of the elevators that took him down to the parking lot of the building, and beeped his car open. After getting in, he drove off into the night.

As soon as he arrived to Choi Seung-Hyun's house, he walked in, not really caring to ring the doorbell. He walked across the courtyard that always brought a peaceful feeling to himself and made it to the front door. Kwon Jiyong had to admit that he loved Choi Seung-Hyun's house but he also loved his house too. He has to since he was willing to pay so much for it.

Before Kwon Jiyong could open the door, Bae Jang Mi appeared with a happy smile, showing off those deep dimples that seemed to always be her best trait, beside her personality. She walked over and took Kwon Jiyong into a tight hug, always uncomfortable to Bae Jang Mi's American habits, he hugged her back, awkwardly.

"Oppa!" She said pulling back. "Let's go inside. You have to see this."

Bae Jang Mi lead Kwon Jiyong into Choi Seung-Hyun's house, and just like Bae Jang Mi had said, he did have to see what was going on. Just like he had guested, the other Big Bang members were there as well as Bae Jang Mi's siblings. What was a sight to see was Ji Soo and Seungri in a heated wrestle. Ji Soo had Seungri in a choke hold while his legs wrapped around Seungri's torso from the back. Seungri's face had turned the color of red as Ji Soo applied pressure over Seungri's neck and around his torso. It wasn't until Seungri tapped Ji Soo's forearm, did he finally release him. Seungri crawled away from Ji Soo who sat in the same spot tiredly, and started.

"What happened?" Kwon Jiyong asked Bae Jang Mi who had already placed herself by her husband.

She just chuckled and shook her head. "They're wrestling for the last piece of Chicken. Seung-Hyun said, give it to the youngest which Seungri argues it was him, while Ji Soo said it was him. Obviously Ji Soo is younger but Seungri took the title of the youngest amongst the members so he thought he should get it." She chuckled.

"Turns out, I'm better at MMA than I thought." Ji Soo said breathing heavily while reaching over to the table to retrieve the last piece. "Hyung." Ji Soo said handing the chicken over to Seungri who was busy downing a bottle of water. "You can have the last piece."

Seungri shook his head. "No! I will win this fair and square. Just you wait! I will train for this, just to beat you. I will get my own piece of chicken and I'll beat you for it." Seungri threatened while Ji Soo shrugged and bit into the chicken.

Kwon Jiyong had to admit that when Bae Jang Mi came into Choi Seung-Hyun's life, nothing ever seemed normal anymore. Their life in general was always different since their line of work consists of different things, unique situations, happening to them. But with Bae Jang Mi, she introduced the Big Bang members to her eldest brother Ji Hoon and soon added another brother Ji Soo, into this family and somewhat changed things. She became closer with Min Hyorin and somehow formed an odd bond amongst the members. She was good with hanging out with both guys and girls. His guest was the fact that she hung out with her brother most of her childhood life. From what Choi Seung-Hyun explained, she never had a normal childhood life. So seeing the Bae siblings hanging out amongst the other members of Big Bang felt odd to Kwon Jiyong. However, it wasn't a bad feeling.

"How's the album coming along?" Bae Jang Mi asked as she sat next to Kwon Jiyong and handed him a beer.

"It's good. I wouldn't mind getting some help. Somewhere." He hinted while taking the bottle out of her hand.

Bae Jang Mi rolled her eyes. "If only you could find such a good singer with amazing skills in music and beauty that stops guys in the middle of the street with just one strut." She said sarcastically.

"Who's stopping guys in the middle of the street?" Choi Seung-Hyun asked jealously from his spot on the couch next to Daesung.

"That's what I'm asking." She replied. "Oh wait. It's me!" She giggled. "Yeah I can help. Since you've helped me so much. When is perfect?" She asked

"Tomorrow sounds good. When ever." He shrugged.

Bae Jang Mi smiled happily as she was able to help Kwon Jiyong with something. Meanwhile, Kwon Jiyong took a look around Choi Seung-Hyun's large living room, and saw everyone that felt, not like friends, but family to him. Of course his brothers of Big Bang but he also considered Ji Hoon, who he found to have a lot of things in common with, a brother as well. Even Ji Soo who had taken care of him during the time of the bachelor party where all memory had slipped his mind of that night. He was happy with the view before him but felt like something was missing. He was missing something in his life and he just noticed it. He wasn't sure if he needed it either, just that it was missing.
