Daesung looked at Lina as if she had lost her mind. He told her that he wouldn't stop her but something in his gut told him to do so. Something in him told him he needed to stop her from leaving. Even looking into her eyes that were bloodshot red from either lack of sleep or she had been crying, told him to be sure to stop her from leaving. She'll never come back. It could of been the advice that Su-Bin had given him but that was in the back of his mind.

Lina wanted to leave.

"Why?" Daesung asked.

Lina smiled a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "I feel like it'd be good for my career."

"Are you leaving because you feel like you're the one to blame for this?" He asked, pointing around his body. He waited patiently but Lina wasn't answering. "Answer me! Is it because of me?"

Lina flinched but finally answered. "It's because of Hong Bin." She says with a sigh. "If he's still not behind bars and you're sitting here with me by your side, you might as well put a target on your back."

"Lina, I would of never blamed you. Would you have blamed me if we were in each other's position? Wouldn't you try to stop me if I told you I was leaving after an incident like this happened?" Daesung asks softly, pulling her face to look at him while ignoring the little shot of pain from the movement. Like before, he didn't receive an answer. "Answer me Lina." This time he said it with a softer tone.

A tear escaped Lina's eyes as she nodded. "But this is my fault. You would of never put me into such a position because you have the best personality in the world. Nobody would hate you and do this to you."

Daesung scoffed. "Lina do you think he did that because you have a bad personality? No, he did this because he's a psychopath. He didn't do this because you're not lovable. I think you're amazing and I really love you."

Lina stopped. "What?"

"Everything about you Jung Catalina."

With all his strength and will to ignore his pain in his side and his face, he wrapped his large hands around the back of Lina's neck to pull her closer to him. He smiled as if he accomplished everything he needed to before his lips landed against Lina's very soft ones. He could feel Lina's tears wetting his cheeks but she kissed him back as well. Daesung took control of the kiss, telling her everything he was feeling it through the kiss. He needed her and needed her everyday to kiss her this way. Lina pulled away, leaning her forehead against his with her eyes closed as she took in his smell with a content sigh.

"Sorry to interrupt but had to because it's gross." Tae Woo says shivering at the sight before him as he slid the door shut.

Lina looked to the door and stared at her brother in utter confusion. "Oppa? What are you doing here? I thought you weren't going to be coming back to Korea in," She checks her wrist that held no watch, "eight months?"

Tae Woo rolled his eyes. "All of us is here. We all heard that douche hurt you and all flew here early this morning." He smiled.

"So why are you the only one that is here?" Lina asked. "Did they really have other places to go although they claimed to care about me and said they came after hearing what happened?" She was actually hurt by this.

Tae Woo clicked his tongue and shook his head. "You always were unappreciative of the things your oppas do for you. We were busy all day because of you." He says. "Turn on the TV and change the channel to the news."

Daesung did just that. The news was currently about some stock numbers that nobody really understood but knew it was important to the country. Then the news anchor announced breaking news. It seems there was a large fight that broke out on the docks and it caused a lot of men to be injured during the fight. Not only did it got a bunch of men injured, police were also able to arrest Cha Hong Bin who had been on the run from police since assaulting Daesung and kidnapping Lina.

"Hong Bin has been arrested?" Lina and Daesung asked at the same time.

"Watch." Tae Woo says excitedly brushing off their question.

The news anchor informed of a video clip that was recorded on the sight. Lina could easily tell her brothers, all five of them fighting against men who wore black suits. She could also distinguish Hong Bin who had been fighting against Sung Ho, her eldest brother who is also a detective. Lina could also see her other brother Dong Ho, fighting his way through the crowd as if he was breezing through the gang. Being a trained underground boxer really helped him with that. Young Ho as well, using his skills as a member of Korea's SWAT team to good use. He fought against them very well as if he wasn't breaking a sweat. The one who she was surprised to see was her brother Jung Ho who served in the military. He barely ever made it home for anything and it came to her surprise he made it down to beat a bunch of thugs who kidnapped her. Eun Ho was also there which she didn't really think he would show up. Out of all of her brothers, Eun Ho was the least to show Lina any form of support. Seeing him there warmed her heart. She continued watching searching for Tae Woo only to come up empty.

"Where are you?" She asked.

Tae Woo chuckled. "I took this video." He smiled proudly.

"What? You weren't fighting?" Lina asked kind of disappointed.

"Lina, we're not supposed to encourage your brothers into committing acts of violence." Daesung says with a hint of amusement from the whole situation.

"Well, I was going to but Hyung said to stay back. So I did the only thing any sane person would." He paused with a grin as he took his phone and showed it to her. "I recorded it."

Lina smiled. "Can you send me a copy."

"Lina." Daesung says in a warning tone.

"Yeah, do you want it through email or through Kakao? I think it'll be easier through Kakao." Tae Woo says pulling out his phone.

"This is not right." Daesung says but only getting ignored by the siblings.

"Yeah Kakao is better. Be sure to send it to only me and not the chat-room with mom and dad in it like you did last time." Lina says, pulling out her phone as well awaiting for the video to get sent to her.

"I'll die of embarrassment before I could forget that." He says. "Okay, sent."

"What did he send?" Daesung asked.

The two siblings looked at each other before looking back at Daesung. They both chuckled and shook their head in sync. As if they were twins programmed to mirror the other's movements. "You don't want to know." They said in unison.

Daesung sighed with a shake of his head as he watched the two siblings.

Tae Woo left a few hours later. Turns out, Tae Woo is a huge fan of Jang Mi. Daesung promised to let him meet her one day if he promised to talk to his brothers in letting him date Lina freely. He was skeptical at first until Daesung phoned Jang Mi. She answered the phone while she was eating and told Daesung to call her later. That was how short the conversation on the phone was. Although it was short, it was enough for Tae Woo. He left soon after.

Now, Lina laid in bed with Daesung. Daesung's pain medicine had been refilled through the IV so he felt flightless from not being in pain. He hugged Lina's hips as he laid his head between Lina's chest. She was playing mindlessly with his hair as they both stayed quiet like that. Just enjoying being in each other's company.

"I still want to go." Lina says quietly. "But not for the same reason anymore." She says cutting off Daesung who was ready to speak up against it. "I want to go because I'm afraid of regretting this when I get older. This is such a great opportunity for me in my career. I can't pass it up."

Daesung was still for a moment, almost as if he hadn't heard her. Lina started to worry that this would cause their relationship to fall which was honestly not something she wanted to do. She would of left until they found Hong Bin and arrested him. Then she would've known Daesung was safe. A part of her heart panged at the result of her long time friend. She felt like it could've ended better if he wasn't such an ass.

"Would you please say something." Lina says softly.

Daesung sighed and slowly sat up to look at Lina. "I'm not gonna stop you." He says cupping Lina's cheek. "I will always be here okay."

Lina smiled and pulled him into a tight hug. He ignored the slight pain in his ribs and face. He savored the warmth her body gave off. When they pulled apart, Lina gave him a soft kiss that ended quickly as she wanted to see his face.

Daesung smiled at her. "Did you receive the video of your brothers fighting?" He asks.

Lina gave him a smirk. "You wanna watch it?"

Without waiting for a reply, she took her phone out from beside her and pulled Daesung down to lay on her as he did earlier. The two enjoyed themselves in each other's company not knowing of Lina's future.

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated. I have been off social media for awhile due to JongHyun's sudden passing.

I can't explain how sad it makes me feel that he felt the way he felt. I will just post a few beautiful gifs in honor of our beautiful Bling Bling who will always be Shinee forever.
