Lina had just begun a photoshoot for an online clothing company. After two weeks of being off of work, she was finally cleared by the doctors to continue working, which she excitingly did. Her schedule was filled up once again and this time more carefully. She was working more with online fashion companies than the name brand companies. She didn't care too much about it.

The photo shoot didn't take too long and was soon off onto another schedule. This time, it was an appearance for some type of grand opening. Lina was sure it was a high end restaurant. She has never heard of the owner or her history but she knew the food in the photos looked delicious. Lina was told to make it look like she was part of the in crowd, like she knew everyone and was close with the owner. It was all for promotional purposes so Lina couldn't turn down such an offer. Even if she had the choice to do so.

When Lina was escorted to her table, she took a seat awkwardly. She was surrounded by so much people she had no idea who was who. The moment she saw a familiar face, she waved excitedly at her as she walked toward Lina as if she were walking on a catwalk.

"Stephanie!" Lina smiled.

"Lina!" Stephanie took Lina into a tight hug. "Model suits you well." She complimented as she released her from the hug. "Are you close with the owner?"

Lina gave an awkward smile. "I'm being paid to be here." She sighed.

Stephanie gave Lina a laugh. "I'm good 'friends' with her as well." She says adding finger quotation marks around the word 'friend', causing Lina to laugh.

"I didn't see you at that famous couple's anniversary party." Lina said. "I was afraid I had missed you but Hyori unni told me you didn't come."

"Ah~ I was actually in New York for the Beauté Dorée fashion show. It was pre-scheduled so I couldn't make it." Stephanie says. "Hey, by the way, I saw some of your photos. You're absolutely stunning in all of them. You've met some good photographers. I even saw the photo shoot where I heard you fainted on."

"You've heard about me being sick?" Lina asked in shock.

"Yeah, I have friend who worked on the set and it was his birthday a few weeks ago so I ended up calling him to wish him a birthday. He asked if I knew you since we're under the same company and that's how I found out." Stephanie informed.

Lina nodded, impressed by her connections. "Wow, you must know everyone."

"Lina unni! What are you doing here?" Lina turned around and came face to face with Jang Mi. She was alone and she wore a dress for the occasion. Dressed in a white long sleeve dress that stopped mid-thigh.

"Jang Mi? What are you doing here?" Lina asked, shocked by her sudden appearance.

"Ah~" She starts, taking a seat next to her. "The owner used to date my older brother. It only lasted a week but she begged me to come on the promise that I won't have to pay for any of the food and that I could eat all I want." She smiled happily before looking to the lady who sat across from Lina. "Stephanie, right? You're from America?"

Stephanie bowed politely to Jang Mi who smiled at her. "Yes, Stephanie Lee. We met briefly at a studio and at your wedding but I'm afraid we hadn't talked long enough to become close."

Jang Mi nodded. "Yes. I clearly remember the day we met at the studio. However on the day of my wedding, I felt like dying. Making rounds and talking to people was very exhausting."

"I'll be going now. I have to greet the owner and then head out to the airport. I have a meeting in Japan with a designer. I hope you can understand." She smiles at both Lina and Jang Mi, causing Lina to feel an uncomfortable and awkward vibe that became present after she left.

"Do you know why she was being all awkward when you came?" Lina asked Jang Mi.

"Stephanie doesn't really like me." Jang Mi shrugged while popping a piece of bread that was served onto the table before the main course. 

"What? Why? She's so nice and so are you. I can't imagine why the two of you wouldn't get along." Lina says confused.

"Just so you know, we are both at fault for the dislike between the two of us." Jang Mi says before chewing. "I've been working as an actress for more than a couple of years before she became an actress. I met her at a studio while she was exiting. I was walking in, minding my own business, when the next thing I knew, I was falling and as I was falling, my hands somehow got caught on the hem of her dress and by the time I hit the ground, Stephanie only stood in her undergarments. Then we got into some type of argument with me being called a short wreck of a human being while I called her a tall shapeless log. It really was both our faults."

Lina looked a little confused. "It sounds closer to your fault though." She said to herself. "Shall we eat?"

That was all Jang Mi needed to hear honestly.

She stood there, on the white backdrop smiling at the camera. He couldn't believe how happy she was just by doing so. To him, she was stupid for being happy over these type of things. It pissed him off really. The thought of her being happy in her current state. She shouldn't have been.

She had just begun with her schedule and yet he found himself following her all day. He didn't like the fact that she was constantly moving to different places. Different buildings. She was involved with different people. A lot of different people. He couldn't understand why this life would make her happy.

He watched as she left the white backdrop, bowing to everyone before she entered a room. He was able to see what she was doing since he had hacked the system. He was able to get a good look at all the CCTVs from where he sat in his car just by looking at his IPad. She got in and was speaking with two guys and two other girls. After talking with them, they made their exit and she stayed behind. She began removing her clothes and he paid close attention. He watched as she slipped off her dress and began pulling on jeans and a sweater.

After leaving that place, he found himself following her to the dormitories of YG Entertainment. He did the same thing, sit and watch on his IPad as she got out of the car and into the elevators, followed by three other girls who were all carrying something. One was carrying some type of tool box, another carried a huge bag and the last carried some type of clothing that was in a protected case. They all spoke with one another and laughed together. He didn't know she was this close with other people she didn't know. After exiting from the elevators, they made their way to her dorm and that's when he waited since there were no cameras in her room. He waited for two hours before finally seeing some activities. A man entered her dorm by entering the passcode. She was giving her passcode to random men now. She was way off the leash. When they exited, only she came out with the man who had entered her code. They both got into the elevators and exited into the front lobby. This time he could see her with his own eyes. The man helped her into the celebrity van. He followed the van that pulled up to a busy restaurant.

From afar, he watched her. He watched her exit from the van and onto a short red carpet where photos of her were being taken. She soon disappeared into the restaurant. Again, he had all the CCTVs from inside the restaurant hacked, placed on small monitors on his IPad. He watched as she entered, dressed in a tight pink dress that hugged her body tightly. Her matching pink heels made her legs look long and smooth. The site of her dressed that way made his anger boil. She never used to dress that way and just seeing her like this, proved how much she had change within the few months of being away from him.

He continued to watch her as she was approached by a thin tall lady. The two talked and she looked happy to see her. He was confused as to why she was so happy to see someone she had no idea who it was. He couldn't help the anger that grew from within him. She was living her life perfectly fine without him.

He would have to change that really soon.
