Chapter 2
There was a slight knock at the door down stairs. I knew who it was so I slowly got up and picked up my suitcase. I picked up the note and a small piece of tape before heading towards my door. I waited to see if I heard anything before exiting my room. Slowly I turned around and taped the note to my door before I practically sprinted down the stairs and to the front door.
Slowly I opened the door enough to confirm who was at the door before opening it enough for myself to step outside. "Well Mia have you decided" she asks me. I knew she had seen my suitcase but I guess it was just formal if she asked so I nodded. She smiled, that same smile from the day before. "That is wonderful news, come we must be going immediately" I couldn't tell if was just me but her smile seemed to have grown even wider. Quickly she scooped up my suitcase and carried it to a car that I hadn't even noticed parked outside of the house. She went around the back of the black car and opened the trunk placing my belongings into the trunk before closing it. I hadn't moved from my spot by the door the car had seemed to appear out of thin air.
Slowly she walked around to the side of the car gesturing for me to get in. Casually I entered the car the seats were made of grey leather everything on the inside seemed to be grey. I sat down on the passenger side of the car and buckled myself in. The women who I honestly can't remember what she said her name was walked back around and got in the drivers side of the car and started it. I leaned against the car door to look out the window as the car started to move. I had no clue that the car was aloud to go as fast as it was on the road we were on, but in a world with no police and no other cars on the road what's the point of going slow. I knew that at the speed limit it took an hour to get to the airport which is where I guessed we would be heading, but at this speed we would probably get there in about 30 minutes maybe less.i leaned back against the seat and pulled my arms a crossed my chest. It was freezing in here but I was to afraid to ask the lady to turn the ac down. After what felt like hours but was really only 30 minutes I had seen one other car and we had arrived at the empty airport. Once I was out of the car I was handed my suitcase which I gladly took. The women turned not bothering to enter the airport instead she went along the wall and to a gate I had never noticed before. She led me inside and straight into the runway. She walked towards what I could only guess was a private jet.
After what seemed like an hour of walking but was only really five minutes I finally sat down on one of the chairs inside the jet I don't know how but the chair was extremely comfortable and I almost immediately felt drowsy. The lady sat down in a chair near the front of the jet but I didn't care all I could focus on at the moment was stay awake. There was a slight rumble and a roar as we took off I could barely raise my head enough to look out the window I felt so tired. Slowly my eyes began to fall I was loosing the battle, after only another minute I was asleep.
I woke up the the rescuing of the plane as it came to a stop. Apparently someone had buckled me in while I was out. My mind still felt kinda groggy but at least I was awake now. I waited until the lady stood up before I unbuckled myself and got up. I grabbed my belongings and followed her out of the plane jet thingy. She led me towards the building this time. This building didn't look like an airport to me in fact it looked kinda like the facility I had seen in the pamphlet. The facility must have had a runway behind it. That is much more convenient then flying people in to an airport a few miles away. It's took barely a minute for us to get inside.
"If you would be so kind as to leave your belongings here, we cans tarts the procedure in less then an hour" she says pointing to what looks like the conveyor belts they used in airports. I turned around and followed the women into a side room that was full of chairs and benches. I sat down on one of the benches worried that I might fall asleep if I sit in a chair again. I wait and I wait bored out of my mind. Suddenly there is a small swish of air and a sliding glass sore opens a man with blue tinted skin and purple hair steps into the room. "Mia Vram please follow me" he says and turns around. He wore a long white doctors gown and had a stethoscope around his neck so I guessed he was more than likely a doctor. He brought me into a small room and took my weight and height before having me sit down he took my temperature. "Alright follow me" he says and leads me down another hall to a much larger room. "Are you thirsty" he asks. I hadn't even noticed the dry feeling in my through until he brought it up "Yes" I sat and he hands me a glass of water "take a seat please" he says pointing towards the table with once again looked like a doctors examination table. I took a seat before I took a sip of water. I put the drink down on a small counter that was just within reach of the bed. Slowly I began to feel tired, the water must have been drugged because this isn't natural. The next thing I knew I'm laying on my back on the chair with my eyes barely open, and then everything goes black.
