When morning came Jisung woke up earlier than Hyunjin. He also went out to work earlier than Hyunjin but he still remembered that he wasn't allowed to use the car so, he called a grab taxi instead.

He already left some food for Hyunjin to eat on the table, so, he wasn't worried that Hyunjin will think he was angry at him. He just didn't want to look at Hyunjin now. When he woke up and felt Hyunjin's arm around him, he felt sad when he remembered that Felix left and it could have been because he was angry at Hyunjin for helping him.

He arrived at the company and went straight into Chan's office. The older as always came there earlier than anybody even though he didn't need to do that.

He was on the phone, on call with someone when he saw Jisung through his glass window, waving at him.

Ending the call he waved at Jisung to come in. "Is there anything wrong, Jisung?"

"Is it work?"

Jisung took a seat when Chan gestured him to sit down. "No. It's not about work"

He took off his hat and brushed his hair. "Do you have Felix's number?", Chan blinked, he stared at Jisung's face and made a confused face. "Of course,I do"

"If you ask Hyunjin, he might also have his number", so, it was really him the only one who had cut contact with Felix. He wondered how he was doing.

"Since I'm already here can you just send me the contact later? I need to talk about something else too", Felix was one of the topic he wanted to talk about but there was another topic he wanted to talk about.

"Is it possible to get some days off? I already finished the work and I think I need a rest", Chan was more than delighted to let Jisung off work because he had been working too hard these last years and he never rest.

"Sure, are you going to rest starting today?",Jisung nodded when he felt his phone buzzing. "I already sent Felix contact to you"

Jisung smiled and nodded, "Thanks."
He left the office and went back home. He knew Hyunjin would be at JYP and he was relieved to see that Hyunjin had eaten the breakfast he made.

He quickly ran into their shared room and packed his things. There was no apparent reason of packing his clothes. He just didn't want to look at his clothes and his stuff.

The reason why he wanted to have a break was because he wasn't sure what triggered his memory again and again. Each time he would be in trance. The first time he was lucky he didn't get into an accident, the second time he was lucky he was in his studio but what if he was to be in an unexpected place?

He wasn't dumb enough to throw his life away like that.

Now, the packing his stuff activity was finished, he still had another thing left to do and that was to contact Felix.

He sat at the edge of the bed and opened the contact number Chan sent to him. His heart started accelerating when he pressed call and the phone started ringing.

"..."

"Hello?", A deep voice greeted him and Jisung recognize the unique voice that had always left an impact on him immediately. He swallowed his saliva , he didn't know what to say.

"Felix?", The other line was also quiet for a long time. This felt like the time when he called his mother, except he knew clearly what bad thing he had done to Felix.

"Um...", Felix made a sound in his throat but it didn't sound irritated. Jisung sighed in relief. He wouldn't know what to do if Felix ended the call before he could say anything.

"How are you?", It was an awkward question but Jisung was genuinely curious. The Felix he knew used to say he will open a school dance when he grows up and he wondered if like Hyunjin and himself, Felix too was able to achieve his dream.

"I had been fine. It's been so long since I last heard from you", Jisung wanted to mend their friendship. If God really gave him a second chance, it must meant to mend his friendship with Felix.

Taking off his jacket to get comfortable, Jisung went to sit at the sofa. "Yeah...I'm just wondering if we could possibly talk?"

Felix laughed, he sounded joyful to talk with his best friend again. "Of course, it's been years. Maybe we should meet up sometimes? I heard you got married to Hyunjin 4 years ago...I'm sorry I didn't come"

Jisung shook his head, it wasn't Felix's fault even if he didn't come. If it was Jisung in Felix's shoes, even he didn't want to come to such a wedding. "You did nothing wrong.  The one in wrong was me"

"I'm sorry I took it so long to apologise to you", Felix hummed. "Is this about 9 years ago?"

The conversation was straightforward, neither of them was trying to push the bushes around. "Yeah...I realized it late that I really was a jerk. Why did you leave?"

Felix stopped Jisung from talking. "Stop there. If you think I left because of you, you're wrong. I left because my grandfather was sick in Australia"

"Even if the fight didn't happen, I would still leave for Australia", Seeing how Felix had put it, it might be true. However,he was still sorry that he had severed all contact from Felix.

"Still I shouldn't have cut off contact with you like that", A other long pause accompanied them. "Jisung...you didn't cut off contact with me. We were still in contact until my grandfather passed away. I was the one who cut off contact with everyone"

Jisung flinched, his breathe held. He totally forgot that he didn't have his full memory. He wouldn't know who cut if the contact first. He just came into conclusion because he already viewed himself as the bad guy.

"How come you didn't remember that?", Should he tell Felix or not? After all Felix was still his best friend even though he supposedly hadn't seen him in 9 years.

"Must be because I'm getting old", Jisung didn't plan to tell Felix now. It would only get complicated if someone knew about his illness. High chance, Felix would blabber out about it to Chan accidentally. It wasn't like he didn't know how Felix always accidentally let out some words he shouldn't be saying when he got too excited.

Then they continued to talk about the old days. It wasn't difficult to talk with Felix like he did with the others since he last saw Felix in high school. He still had most of his memories from then.

Felix had to go back to work so he ended the call earlier. Felix didn't open a dancing school like he had wished too but he started a small business, selling accessories and clothes.

Meanwhile, he opened the big glass slide door in the room which led to a space behind the house and crouched down, few days ago, he and Hyunjin planted some strawberries plant at the crop.

All of the plants had names stick to it, like little berry, beriberi and such nonsense names they could think of. Hyunjin said to grow well, one needs good name. It sounded like bullshit but he just followed along with Hyunjin.

The huge space was rarely used but from what he knew the open space was made because he had asked Hyunjin. It was supposed to be a space where they do activities together but even now they rarely do anything together other than eating, going to work and sleeping next to each other at night.

Looking at the plants reminded him of the certain annoying human and immediately fished out his phone to take a picture of the plants before sending it to Hyunjin with a caption, -they're still not growing up

Almost immediately, he got an instant reply. It's only been a few days. Give it time.

How come you're at home now?

Jisung placed his head on his arms, poking at the small plant. He looked at Hyunjin's reply. -I went home because there's no more work.

-When are you going back home? Will you be late?

Depends if you're still angry at me or not. Jisung rolled his eyes at the reply. He wasn't angry in the first place. He was just moody. Not angry.

Then he put his phone back, the next time Hyunjin texted him, he ignored the buzzing phone and stood up to walk towards a seat at the backyard.

He sat and placed the book he brought along with him, drawing on the white paper.

"But...why did the memory came back?", He tried to draw the view he had inside the tunnel like structure he entered at the park.

He remembered clearly he saw a couple walking by and a drink man knocking himself into a light pole then he had a headache and fainted.

The memory ended there. He remembered that it happened shortly after he started having the headaches. It wasn't far off from when the last memories he had. He gained most of his memories before that that he never experienced too.  The only empty spaces were 9 years and a half ahead.

He scribbled on his notebook, thinking of any common factor that triggers him to remember everytime he saw those flashes of images.

He closed the book and groaned, he was too dumb to think of this alone but he shouldn't go out as long he didn't know what the cause was.

What's more if he had to live like this forever, he might just turn crazy. He already got used to losing his memories but suddenly going in trance wasn't something he wanted to cop up with.

"Was it the diary?", It could be diary since whenever he read the book or open it, minutes later he would see flashes of memories.

He rised up, if the book was the trigger then didn't that mean he practically solved it by burning it? He wouldn't have to remember those bad things and he wouldn't be in trance again.

Still it wasn't confirmed. He should try going out with Hyunjin sometimes to confirm his theory.

He stared into space. Spending too much time with work and stress made Jisung forgot that he was 19 inside sometimes.

Jisung had slowly forgotten the feeling of thrill of growing up. He had forgotten that he was supposed to be youthful high school student just a few weeks before.

A month had fairly passed and he had totally given up on the 'time travel' theory he had the first few days he woke up with no memories.

He might be a child who didn't know anything when he first woke up but no be was no longer that child who completely naive. He realized he might turn into a true bad person if he continued behaving the way he was before.

He tried to tone down his temper. He toned down his hatred towards Hyunjin and tone down his ego to call Felix.

Dropping the book in his hand, he lied down on the sofa and he had probably fell asleep around 5 minutes after. He was too tired. In fact, ever since he lost his memory, he hadn't rested a day.

He was afraid he was really going to turn like how Chan told him— a workaholic.

A few hours had passed, his eyes slowly flittered open when he heard the dangling sound of metals colliding, probably car keys.

He sat up, rubbing his eyes when he felt a warm hand rubbing his hand. "You're home?", He yawned, forgetting to slap the other person's hand away.

"Why did you sleep here?, you will get a cold", The gentle voice of this person made Jisung contemplate whether he deserve it to be here or not.
