The first person Hyunjin saw when he entered there police station wasn't the criminals or the polices there, the first person he looked at was Jisung who was sitting in front of an officer with an emotionless face.

When he received the call that Jisung was at the police station, his heart started thumping so fast that he immediately went here without changing out of his pajama. He was already at home and in his sleepwear, waiting for Jisung to come home but he didn't expect to be called by the police instead.

He ran towards Jisung and looked at him up and down, scanning for any injury. He heard he was involved in a car accident. He was angry that Jisung was sent to the police station instead of a hospital if he was really involved in car accident but seeing no scratch on him, he felt relieved.

"You're...his husband right?", The police officer had a skeptical look on his face. Didn't know if he was disgusted or not but he knew that his personal opinion didn't have anything to do with his work. So, he just continued with his work  instead of commenting on their relationship.

He clicked his pen, then pointing it at Jisung. "Your husband...suddenly break his car in the middle of the road"

Then he pointed at the lady in blue, "and this lady's car hit your husband car"

Hyunjin nodded, trying to understand the situation. He looked over at Jisung hit Jisung had his head down all the time. His hands were also very cold when Hyunjin held him, he felt worried when he saw the shorter acting like this. He had never seen him like this.

"I want them to pay to fix my car!" The lady in blue angrily said and the police officer slammed his hand on the table, "Miss please remain calm"

"What you want me to remain calm? You want me to be mute like this guy?", the police officer shook his head and sighed. One person was talking nonstop while the other refused to say anything. What a combination.

"We checked the CCTV and I saw that your car was driving too close to his car. You're in the wrong too, miss. Plus this mister, slowed down he didn't break the car immediately"

Then the police officer looked at Hyunjin, " You will have your say in this. You can let it go or files a claim against this miss for the damage"

The lady in blue's face had turned red. She was the one who called the police but they didn't side with her but instead, Jisung.

He didn't even have to say anything and everything was solved for him. The lady was so angry that she stood up and almost hit Jisung if not for a police officer stopping her and Hyunjin holding her hand.

She was too controlled by her emotion that she didn't realize when she had raised her hand. "Miss, you can also be filed for assault.", Hyunjin glared at the lady. He was going to let the lady go without asking for anything since the car wasn't badly damaged but she went as far as wanting to slap Jisung who had been saying nothing.

"You don't have to pay for our car", they weren't poor. To ask for a stranger with no manner to pay to fix their car was not beyond them to do it. The lady pulled her arm back, "but I will need you to apologise to my husband"

Her face scrunched in disgust, looking at Hyunjin and Jisung. "No wonder this person has no manner in road!", She yelled, insulting Jisung and Hyunjin. There was no need to guess what she thought of them. It was as clear as the day that she was homophobic.

No manner in road? She was the one who started yelling in the road and slamming her hands on Jisung's car window. Who was it who did that? It was her and she said Jisung had no manner.

A few seconds later, a man entered the station, running to the lady in blue. It was her husband who also had come when he heard his wife was here.

"Honey... let's just apologize",he said when he heard the explanation from both side. Even he knew his wife was in the wrong but she still refused to apology. Jisung tugged Hyunjin's shirt and shook his head. He finally came to his sense. "I don't need an apology. I was in the wrong too. So, we could just drop it here", He looked up and smiled at the lady who took a step back, flustered.

She who had been talking like a monkey and Jisung who had been nothing but calm made herself looked like a fool.

Thank goodness, it was settled easily after Jisung talked and Hyunjin drove the both of them back home.

He left Jisung's car there and called a mechanic to take it to a garage.

Hyunjin kept looking at Jisung who hadn't been saying anything ever since they left the station, he pulled and held Jisung's hand but there was still no reaction. Usually he would curse or slap his hand away but today none of those happened.

"Ji...." Jisung hummed in return.

"Are you- nevermind. Do you want to eat MarryBrown? I know you like their chicken. We can go to a drive-thru and buy some",Jisung looked up and smiled at Hyunjin. "Sure"

When they returned home, Jisung went to the kitchen and picked two plates for him and Hyunjin. Then he opened the box, despite seeing the fried chicken he loved, he still felt odd.

The images he saw when he was on the road...there was a lady in blue similar to the lady who was yelling today, then there was honking sounds like today and then there was the red light and green light like today. The only difference was that there were some yelling and crying.

His hand dropped the chicken he was holding and looked up at Hyunjin who was trying open the sauce packet. "Hey, did I ever got into an accident like this before?"

He looked at Jisung in a pause before shaking his head. "Not that I remember in the past years. You did get into an accident in high school but it was minor one"

Jisung pointed at himself, "me? In highschool?", Hyunjin nodded, licking a chili sauce stain from his thumb. " A motorcycle lost control while trying to avoid a car and you tried to avoid the motorcycle but then there was an opened manhole and you fell into it", Jisung almost spat the piece of chicken meat he had bitten when he heard it. He had never fell into a manhole, so, this must be something he also forgot.

However, he couldn't stop laughing when he imagined falling into a manhole. He seen it in television and cartoons but never in real life. To think he had experienced it and had no recollection of it at all was funny to him.

Hyunjin rolled his eyes, "why are you laughing? It was so serious. You had a broken leg and couldn't go to school for two months. "

"Your mother even tried her best to file complains to the electric utility company for not putting guard rails around the manhole while working", Jisung nodded and wiped his tears away. It sounded funny but in reality it must be very painful. Somehow, he was grateful he remembered none of it.

He just nodded and continued eating while smiling then laughing when the idea of falling into a manhole appeared in his mind again.

"You're finally smiling", Hyunjin said, ruffling Jisung's hair then pinching his cheeks. Jisung glared at Hyunjin, he wanted to slap his hands away but his own hands were preoccupied with his food.

"I can't ?", Hyunjin asked. "Your hands are oily", Jisung rubbed his cheeks with his sleeve. If he got an acne or anything on his face, it would be Hyunjin's fault. "Stop touching my face everytime. It's unhygienic"

"Then next time...if I clean my hands then I can?", Jisung heaved a huge sigh. What was with Hyunjin and pinching his cheeks?

"When did you even start having this pinching cheeks habit?",Hyunjin opened a bottle of coke and wondered before he got his answer. "Well, I had always wanted to pinch your face since high school"

"Pinch? Are you sure not punch?" Jisung joked because even now he felt like punching Hyunjin on his face.

"Hey, the one who wanted to punch me was you! I never wanted to hurt you.", Jisung was taken aback. All this time he thought Hyunjin would punch him in return if not for Chan and other others stopping them from fighting. Now that he realized, it was always him who started throwing his fist.

"So, you wanted to pinch me for revenge instead? Is this your revenge to me for punching you all those years?", Jisung asked nonchalantly as he took another bite then dipping the chicken into the cheese.

Hyunjin laughed at his question. " It's not a revenge. I really just wanted to pinch your cheeks"

"Because I was annoying?", Hyunjin shook his head again. "Because I just wanted too. It's like when you pinch Jeongin's cheeks but I couldn't do it with you because we weren't in good terms"

"You looked so cute back then. When you' were angry, I was angry too but you looked like a kid so I stopped being angry once you punched me"

Jisung couldn't believe what he was hearing. So, while he was fuming in anger and hating Hyunjin, the taller had only thought of him like a cute grumpy kid. He even wanted to pinch his cheeks for that reason.

Jisung laughed, raising the chicken in the air ," can I slap you with this?"

Hyunjin held his hand and pulled his arm, taking a bite from the chicken which Jisung slapped his hand away. "Why did you bite my chicken! You have your own!"

Hyunjin gave one of his chicken away because Jisung lord like he was about to cry when he saw his chicken being eaten by Hyunjin. "Okey, here here. Don't be such a baby"

Jisung frowned, this was the word Hyunjin liked to tell him in the past whenever he complained about something and that would start a fight between them. This time around he used the same word but Jisung didn't feel like punching him. Just wanted to flick his head and tell him who's the baby here?

Jisung pulled his phone out, if his brain really was trying to hide something painful...it might be good not to remember it. Like today, he remembered something and nothing good came from it.

He texted the woman, HanMi

I'm not coming tomorrow. Don't contact me ever again.

Then he blocked the number. If he was really such a person he think he might be then he might as well bury it and move on.

His life was already good now even if he remembered nothing. His mother had someone to accompany her and he already graduated, even had a job.

About the matter with Hyunjin...it might be impossible to see him as a lover but it might be possible to see him as friend. A friend that slightly annoyed him?

They could live in this situation because Jisung had already adapted with the new lifestyle. While Hyunjin had fell even deeper for Jisung who seemed to be more and more like the Jisung he fell in love with at the start.

"To be honest, when you fell into the manhole I thought you were an idiot", Jisung choked on his drink and glared at Hyunjin for making him laugh again. "Can you not?"

"And at that time I visited you a lot because Chan told me it was an opportunity for me to get along with you", so, that must be the reason why they could start dating in highschool.

"But each time I see you I just laugh because I remember you fell into a manhole. I apologize for that. That was bad of me", he apologize but didn't seem sorry at all. Of course, he wouldn't be when he saw how much Jisung was laughing now.

When he saw Jisung's emotionless face at the police station he was worried something had happened but asking him today didn't seem like it would help Jisung. So, he just put the topic aside and decided to ask later.

"Here have another chicken"
