He told Chan that he would take a few days off but he didn't expect that in just those few days he figured out so many things. Even though not enough but he still knew some things.
He fiddled with the hem of his shirt as he laid on the floor, he would be scolded by Hyunjin if he saw him lying down on the floor. Just an hour ago, Chan called him, saying he was invited to a party. What party? He wasn't sure either but he knew it was some celebrity gathering. Never in a few years would he think that there would come a day where he would be idly hanging out with celebrities.
He did hung out with the group of boys that he helped to produce songs for but they didn't feel that much of celebrities. Ah, celebrities aren't that special after all. He thought.
The party would either go for the worst or just normal. He didn't want to embarrass himself in front of everybody but if he said he didn't want to come, it would be rude since he was invited. Why was he invited in the first place? Was he that much of an amazing producer?
Seeing his brows knitted together and his eyes narrowed, Hyunjin had to interrupt his thinking session by reaching his hand out and shoving a spoon of ice cream j to his mouth. Feeling the cold sensation of ice cream in his mouth, he immediately pushed himself up, almost hitting his forehead against Hyunjin's if not for Hyunjin quickly moving away. "What are you thinking about so deeply?"
"The party", he simply said, taking the bowl of ice cream from Hyunjin. "That?" Hyunjin rubbed Jisung's head. There was nothing to worry about the party since he was also invited. Many choreographer was also invited, it wasn't only him. "If you don't want to come, then you don't have to."
"Then...you would be alone if I don't come with you", Hyunjin laughed, he could see that Jisung was a bit scared of coming there but he still wanted to accompany him. Hrm, he started wondering what did he do to get someone this nice to be by his side as his life partner. He must be blessed.
Thinking about it again, he could just stick around Hyunjin or Chan or even the boys if he didn't want to humiliate himself. Better to blend in then be stuck at a corner somewhere.
Pushing that thought aside, he didn't even have anything to wear. He would have to bother Chan later to ask for a suit.

The party started in the evening on the next day and it was pretty glamorous as Jisung thought it would be.
Might be because he didn't remover anything, he didn't really recognize the celebrities that came. There were few faces he knew but all of them had grown older than the last time he saw them on television.
There was no denying it, he was a bit intimidated and it was difficult not to stare at the many light at the party, he had to continuously look down but it wasn't that bad since Hyunjin was with him and he was wearing a hat.
Each time he felt like he was going to drown into another series of memories, Hyunjin would snap him out of it.
"Are you fine? Want to take a rest?", Jisung shook his head. So far there had been a few people approaching him to talk about his work and he had been talking comfortably about it since it was something he knew of.
"Hyung!", Jisung turned around, seeing one of the member of the boy group he was familiar with. "Jaeyong", he said when he saw the other members weren't with him. "I thought you weren't coming!", The younger boy said, he was a bit jumpy as Jisung observed. Might have been a few shot of drinks.
"It would be rude not to come...", Plus, it was a good thing he came. There were lots of food and lots of interesting people. Jaeyong whipped his head around towards Hyunjin who was standing next to him. "This is..."
"Must be choreographer Hwang!", He said, proud that he knew who Hyunjin was. Jaeyong was quiet for a while before he smiled, "what's wrong?", Jisung asked.
"Nothing. Just that you two looks good with each other", Jisung was confused for a while. Actually he had this question in his head for the longest of time. Nobody here seemed to discriminate them even though they weren't your 'typical' pair of couple.
He had to ask Hyunjin later which the later told him the society had been more accepting this past few years. Same gender marriage had also been approved a whole back.
Jisung was amazed, he didn't know the country had progressed that much.
At the corner of his eyes, he could see Chan was talking to some idols and they were laughing probably at some stupid joke made by Chan. Suddenly he missed his friends.
Hyunjin grabbed his arm when he saw Jisung was about to bump into a waiter. "What's wrong?", He asked Jisung again. Jisung was a bit out of it but he refused to say what it was. "Nothing...just those kind of feeling again"
Hyunjin tilted his head, he didn't really get what 'those kind of feeling' meant. "Just...I miss our friends."
Even Hyunjin knew how difficult it was to call everyone and be at the same place at one time. Everyone had their own works and plans. Jeongin hadn't return from oversea, Felix was always busy with his business, Changbin was still working on a new song even this party he didn't attend, Minho had his share of problem with acting. The only one they could freely meet was Chan and most probably Seungmin if he wasn't so busy with his singing career.
"Everyone's so busy".

"Jisung hadn't been seeing you?", Felix asked as he sat at the sit in front of Dr.Woo. The older man glanced at Felix and looked away. He helped Felix enough to cover up the whole thing from Jisung but he wasn't responsible to stop Jisung from searching into the truth. Felix had no right to be complaining when he was the one who asked him a favour when it wasn't something he should be doing. He had a profession, he was a psychologist. He wasn't supposed to be doing this.
"Yeah, don't blame me for it. He doesn't trust me anymore", Jisung had been meeting up with another doctor other than him. "Nor you". Felix nodded. He wasn't at the hospital to talk about Jisung. "I'm not thinking of hiding it from him anymore."
Dr.woo raised his eyebrows, chin supported by the back of his hands. "Surprising.", He thought Felix was going to go through hell just to hide everything from Jisung...not wanting him to be 'hurt' again. Felix was a good friend but he wasn't a genius. Things didn't go as he planned when he was already given a chance of Jisung losing his memories. "I'm going to tell him the truth..."
"How?", As far as Dr.Woo was concerned, he knew Felix was a lot busy regarding him starting a business. He barely had times for any of this. "I will meet him. Can we stop talking about Jisung now?"
The older nodded. Tapping the table as he stood up and went to the seat next to Felix. "Of course, we're going to talk about HanMi. Correct?"
"Yeah, how is she nowadays. She complained about anything to you?", The doctor shook his head. As a doctor, he shouldn't be telling Felix about a patient information but he wasn't exactly a honest doctor. He was also a businessman. Felix hired him to observe both Jisung and HanMi. "Well... she's been fine"
"She's been stopping herself from cutting herself. It took a token though...she cut off her hair. Not much but she did cut some", cases like HanMi's were rare. It was caused from a childhood experience and the incident with her sister had triggered her illness. Seeing the concern on Felix's face, the doctor coughed. "But I see that as an improvement. She didn't hurt herself. She also didn't lash out on her uncle"
"She also told me she wants to go to the beach with you and Jisung.", Felix nodded. HanMi did called her to ask him about the trip again, saying she wouldn't forgive him if he ditch on her again.
Felix leaned back, head leaned up as he groaned. It wasn't something as simple as doing grade 6 math problem. Jisung didn't remember anything, if he tells the truth to him then there was no point of him doing all of these. They will go back to where it all began.
"God damn it, people in love are such troublesome people", he ruffled his hair. "could say the same for you.", Felix rolled his eyes.
"Want some whiskey after this? I mean to forget for a while about your undying brotherhood with your best friend?", Dr. Woo suggested, standing up to get his coat. "I thought you don't like drinking at this hours and this is working hours"
"There's always an exception", he chuckled then he added,"I clock out in another half hour. It makes no difference", he unlocked the door. "So? How about a glass?"
"You say that but it always end with a few bottles", Felix picked up his wallet and went out through the door that the doctor opened for him. "It's a yes then"
-
"So, do you know why Jisung lost his memories?", Felix asked, fiddling with the glass of whiskey in his hand. He didn't think there would be a day that he drank whiskey in the evening instead of enjoying some cup of tea. Drinking wasn't his thing but when this doctor bring him to get a drink he would end up finishing about two bottles of alcohol. Today too, it wouldn't be any different.
The doctor raised his glass. "I brought you here to forget about your friend but you still ask about him."
"What about we play a game. If you talk about your best friend you lost, finish a bottle by yourself", Felix was starting to get irritated. "Dr.Woo!" He only agreed to drink because he wanted to talk about Jisung over it.
"I'm off work. Call me by my name. It's Do Hwan. Repeat after me Do Hwan-", Felix cut him off by drinking a glass of whiskey.
Do Hwan finally gave up and sighed in defeat. "Okay! I told you it was just caused by his stress!"
He lowered his voice when Felix glared at him. "And...before he lost his memory he called me. He said he was going to end it"
Felix put the glass down, a sound emitted from it hitting against the ceramic table. "End what?", He frowned, shaking his head in disbelief.
"I don't know! Maybe he was going to tell the truth to HanMi and Hyunjin", Do Hwan scratched his head when Felix asked why. After all of those things Jisung had done he suddenly gave up?
"Why not?", Do Hwan stopped Felix when he was about to mention Hyunjin. "Hyunjin has stable footing in the entertainment industry. He's well known. He could open his own studio if he wants too"
"Why won't Jisung tell him the truth?",then he pointed out again. "I also agreed with him. The longer he keeps this from HanMi...it will damage her more when she found out about it herself"
"Then what about Juyeong? Your friend is the one assigned as her doctor. Is there really no hope for her to wake up?", The older male had difficulty trying to talk about it. Even if his friend and the hospital already tried their best to keep Juyeong alive...
Do Hwan poured him another glass of whiskey and passed a glass to him. " Stop treating Jisung as if he don't have a brain"
"Last time he couldn't take the burden but it's different this time"
"Trust him more. He won't be foolish anymore"
