I was pulling up to some restaurant to speak to JC girlfriend apparently she wants to apologize or some shit like that. I bought Kailani along because I feel like I'm never with her anymore.

"She here?" Kai asked.

"I don't know but I'm not gon be looking around for her either." I said.

"Alyssa!" I turned around to JC girlfriend and sister. I sat down looking through the menu waiting for one of them to talk, JC girlfriend cleared her throat so I looked up.

"I wanted to apologize for the way I been acting, I'm not the insecure type of girl that's always starting trouble but when you came back I saw it as you was trying to take JC back. I wanted him to love me equally like you but that was childish of me and little kid like so I apologise."

"Thank you for your apology but you shouldn't want the love he gave me, you should want more."

"And I know that but I was letting my insecurities get in the way of that."

"Well I wish the best for you and your relationship."

"Thank you and I know we will never be friends but I at least want to be cordial on some grown woman shit."

"Yeah we could, you stay out my way I stay out of yours."

"Okay um I guess it's my turn, I apologize for bringing your mother into things that was childish, I don't really have a reason but something just irks me about you. But just like you said I'll stay out your way and you'll stay out of mine and keep my comments to myself." Jayla said.

"It's a lot of people that won't like me but at least your honest, so yeah."

"Now that we got that cleared, have a good day Alyssa and Kailani." JC girlfriend said.

"Wait what's your name?" I was getting tired of calling her JC girlfriend.

"Morgan." I nodded as she walked off.

"Are you okay?" I asked Kailani seeing her kind of out of it.

"Of course why wouldn't I be?" I asked putting on the fakest smile I can hoping Lys don't see through it.

"Kai you been my best friend since 2nd grade, I could see through your fake smile. What's wrong for real?"

"Lys I swear I'm okay just stressed and tired. Everything is going great."

"Are you sure Kai? I can't be there for you if you don't let me." She reached out for my hand.

I'm not sure.

"Yes Lys, I promise."

"Okay imma take your word but we have a lot to catch up on, where do you want to start?"

We sat there for about an hour discussing everything we haven't told each other, I missed this. Having a best friend that can pick your mood up just by being in your presence. Mason and Iyan walked to our table.

"Wassup Kai? Lys lemme talk to your beanstalk head ass real quick." Mace said. He and Alyssa walked out leaving me and Iyan, I pulled out my phone checking my notifications.

It was always weird being around Iyan because of our past but we was always cordial. Throughout the years me and Iyan started having sex again but that led me to get pregnant and at three months I had a miscarriage. After that we have never had a conversation for more than 2 minutes.

"How long?" He asked. I looked up confused knitting my eyebrows together. "How long have he been hitting you?"

"W-what you mean? Who hits me?"

"We gon do this Kai? I'll just go ask him myself." He said shrugging.

"He doesn't hit me Iyan."

"Kai you don't think I know you to know when you're lying? I see the busted lip and you don't like to wear makeup unless you going to an event so why is your face caked up now?"

"I just wanted to wear makeup Iyan, is that a crime?"

"I told you about my stepfather beating my mother until she couldn't take it no more and killed him then herself. There is only one way this is going to go if you don't leave Kailani."

Tears started to form my eyes but I wouldn't let them fall, I couldn't let nobody know I was this weak. I shook my head and put on a wide smile.

"Iyan I thank you for caring but I don't get abused."

"Kailani you use to beat my ass even when I fought back I still came back with bruises, why the fuck are you being so stupid and weak?!" He yelled.

"I'm not Iyan."

"You can't help someone that don't want it, be safe Kailani." He walked out as a tear fell from my eye but seeing Lys walk back in I quickly wiped it.

"Can we leave? I'm so tired." I said.

"If you want, I love you Kai." Lys said hugging me I had to hold back all the tears.

"I love you more."

When I got home I went straight to my closet getting my bags, I filled them with clothes and shoes I will need. I changed into some joggers and a tee, while doing all of that I didn't know Tygee was home so when I got done packing my last bag he towered over me.

"Where are you going?"

"I can't do this anymore, I've tried to help you and I tried to love you but I can't. I leave this house with a new bruise everyday if Tac knew what was happening not only will you be dead I will too. If you want me then you have to choose."

"Choose what?"

"The drugs or me." He started laughing like it was the funniest thing on earth.

"It's funny you think you have a choice, go put your shit back."

"You heard what you just said? It's my shit so I'm getting my shit and leaving." I reached for my bag but he stop me slapping my hand and that triggered me.

I cocked my fist back punching him my hardest in his eye, he grabbed his eye dropping my bag, going to look in the mirror he studied it but never said anything.

"I'm bout to fuck you up." He charged my way making me hit the floor hard. I swung and kept swinging until I felt blood on my hand, we both had our hits but he was winning. I could barely see out of my left eye but that didn't stop me from swinging, he stopped and stood up.

I was catching my breathe not paying no attention to him, still getting ready to leave when I grabbed my bag I heard a gun cock back. My blurry vision still allowed me to see Tygee standing above me pointing the gun right at me.

"I told you no one else can love you if it's not me, if you leave me you are only leaving one way." My salty tears burned my open wounds on my face at the tears came down.

"This isn't love Tygee! You need help, I can help you get help. Just give me the gun!" I said reaching for it. He hit me in the head with the butt of the making me fall and hold my head in pain.

"Help? I don't need help! I need you to understand when I say do something to do it and not talk back! I'm going to teach you a lesson since you don't know how to listen."

He went to the other side of the room watching me out the corner of his eye smashing my phone, laptop and iPad against the wall.

"You are not to go no where or talk to no one, when I come home I want a cooked meal and you dressed up pretty. If not I will take you in the basement and you'll regret it. If you tell anyone not only will you die so will they. Do you understand?" I nodded slowly.

"I said DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

"Yes." I said weakly.

"Good now go get pretty for daddy." He kissed my forehead and walked down the stairs as I crawled into a ball crying to myself.

I can't believe I allowed myself to be so weak.

Leaving out the restaurant from talking to Kai I noticed my window was down which was weird because I don't remember leaving it down. Checking under my car and in my car making sure nothing unusual or nobody was in there I proceeded to get in until I saw a little cardboard box with a note on it.

I opened the box looking at pictures of myself. Walking into the hospital and walking out, going into Tac club, every single place I been. I was creeped out as fuck I sped to the house grabbing the box.

"TAC?! ISSAC?! CJ?!" I yelled as soon as I walked in.

"We in here!" Isaac yelled.

"Stop yelling in my damn house!" Tac and Jen yelled.

When I walked into the living room Jayceon, Isaac, Jayden, Mason, Ace, Tadoe, CJ, and Iyan was in there playing and talking business. They all looked up giving me weird expressions. 

"Tac please come here, hurry up!" I yelled.

"Lys what's wrong?" Tac asked. I just handed him the box shaking, he looked at me weird before looking in the box while all eyes was on us.

"What the fuck is this?" He yelled clenching his jaw.

"When I walked out the restaurant it was sitting in my passenger seat, I checked the car for trackers or bombs but anything wasn't there." I said lowly but making sure he heard me, he sighed.

"What happened? Let me see the box." Isaac said, Tac handed him the box.

Isaac and the rest of them started taking turns going through the pictures one by one, I was getting frustrated because they kept asking me questions about who did it. If I fucking knew I wouldn't of bought it to y'all, y'all the fucking drug dealers you find out.

"Wait it's a note." Iyan picked it up.

"Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock. Counting the bodies dropping on the clock."

"Yo that's straight...BARS my nigga!!" Mason yelled laughing, I honestly tried to keep a straight face but I started rolling.

"Mace, not the time." JC said sternly.

"Nah no lie tho, I was in my head bouta do the next verse." Tac said laughing, me and Mace started laughing even harder.

"Yo it's times for games and it's time to be serious, this a fucking time to stop playing, this shit serious." Isaac said slamming the box down.

"This some pretty little liars shit, I refuse to play this game with A." Tadoe said seriously making me, Tac and Mace laugh.

"Ace set up a meeting now!" Isaac walked out the room mean mugging Tac, Mace and I as we silently laughed.

It's been a few days since I heard or talked to Kai, she's been hiding out and every time I called her phone went straight to voicemail. After three whole days of not talking to her I decided enough was enough and I went to see her.

I rung the doorbell to her and Tygee house waiting for it to answer. I heard locks being unlatched as I heard her speak.

"Tygee you forgot your- Lys what you doing here?"
