Clay face picked one hell of a night to fight with us. I mean come on I was about to totally go to second base with Charlie! And that damn alarm just had to blare. Sitting in the bioship now I tried to cover up the slight down turn in my lips till a certain bird stroud over to me.

"Why the sad face wonder boy," she said leaning slightly on the conceal making my breath catch. It was odd for me not having to hide my reactions while she was around. I didn't have to pretend that I wasn't in love with her and that she didn't effect me.

"Clayface just has terrible timing is all," I said with a shrug. A light bulb seemed to go off in her head making her realize what was going on.

"Ohh your just mad because we had to stop," she said with a smirk leaning closer to me. "Well maybe after this mission we could contin-"

"We're here," Megan said interrupting us making Charlie sigh before prancing back to her seat making me frown again. Could we get one second without someone interrupting us!

We all piled out of the bioship as Megan linked us up.

'Everyone ready?' Aqualad said through the link.

'Yes' everyone said back.

'Then move out,' we all took our positions moving through the abandon building which was to cliche for words. I mean seriously villains could have a bit more originality.

'I agree, but our mentor does work out of a cave so who are we to judge,' Charlie said through the link making me smile.

'Touché,'

Another 15 minutes of searching and nothing was found.

'I'm starting to think this tip was just a prank,' Artemis said with a bite to her voice obviously annoyed that her time was waisted.

'Uh guys, found something,' Wally said before a yell was heard throughout the building.

'Wally!' We all chorused through the link before sprinting off towards the noise.

The next sound was a high pitched scream signaling that Tweety had most likely found KF and was fighting Clayface.

Sliding into the largest room of the building I saw Tweety soar through the room and into the cement wall. She slowly slide down her eyes dropping just as she was knocked out from the blow. Not a second later her eyes started to flutter back open due to her healing abilities.

Anger filled my veins as I turned back to the muddy creature in front of me.

Throwing an ice birdarang into the murky villain he started to freeze.

"Do you think that will hold him?" Conner said out loud as I ran to help Tweety stand up.

"I doubt it so be ready," as the words left my mouth cracks started to form on the ice making all of us get in ready positions.

"Didn't we stop him last time by electrocuting him?" I said quickly.

"Yes but he practically exploded and got all over us," Charlie stated before catching onto my train of thought. "Oh come on there has to be other ways then this! I do not want to have to clean that gook off again,"

"Sorry birdy," I sang as the ice exploded off of Clayface. Making quick work I threw all of my shocking weapons and detonated them. With a zap the villain exploded everywhere. Groans were heard around the room as we all were covered of clay.

"You couldn't give me time to hide behind something!" Charlie said with a growl as she shook out her blonde curls that now looked brown.

"Come on tweety it's just a little clay," I teased only to receive a glare from her as her stomped out of the building.

"Your an idiot you know that right," Charlie stated as she stomped out of the building with me hot on her tail.

"Shut up," I grumbled with a slight pout.

"I mean seriously you couldn't have waited just a second! Do you know how many showers I'm gunna have to take to get this crap out of my hair! God think some tim-" she was cut off by my lips being placed on hers while her back connected with the wall behind her softly. Her eyes widened but closed as she kissed back. It turned heated pretty quickly as her arms wrapped securely around my neck hands weaving in my hair.

The need for oxygen became to much as we both pulled away foreheads resting together.

"You just really needed to shut up," I said breathlessly earning him a quiet laugh.

"Well please feel free to shut me up again," she purred pulling me by my cape back to her while her arms looped around my neck I placed my hands on her hips pushing her back against the wall as my lips covered here again.

Slowly pulling her lips from mine I groaned in annoyance that we had to stop.

"Come on I have to get this out of hair before it drys," taking my hand we meet the rest of the team back at the bioship, they all gave us looks like they knew what we had been doing.

Getting back everyone separated to clean themselves off before coming back not the training room where Batman waited. We quickly were debriefed before we were told we were free to go. The look he gave me said that I was still needed. Everyone left quickly beside Dick and I.

"I have a mission for you two. Harley Quinn has broken away from the joker yet again. Granted it most likely will only last a week at most we still are going to attempt to help get her on the right side of the fight,"

"Ok, I understand the point of this but why us?" Dick asked the question on both of our minds.

"She feels less threatened by you two,"

"You just don't want to deal with her cause she has a thing for you," I said with a teasing grin earning me one of his rare chuckles.

"She's currently hiding out at an abandon toy factory, be careful she's unstable emotionally. Keep each other safe," we nodded before going to where our cycles sat in the back of the cave. Shorting off into the zeta beam we soon found our selves rocketing through the streets of Gotham.

"Up ahead," my eyes widened as I saw smoke billow out of the building. Outside stood a lone figure, Harley.

Dismounting our bikes when we got close enough we slowly made our way towards her. She held no weapons that we could see but knowing her she was packing something somewhere.

"Harley?" I said softly catching her attention. Her head whipped around as she gave Robin and me an up down.

"He broke my heart," she said staring at the flames coming off of the building.

"So you set a building on fire?" I questioned.

"It seemed poetic at the time," she shrugged. "So here to take me in?"

"Nope just to talk," Dick said leaning casually against the brick wall next to us. "You don't deserve to be treated the way joker treats you,"

"Puddin' doesn't mean to be like this, sometimes he-"

"Stop defending him and face the facts, your in love with a psychotic clown who ruined your life," I said with a raised brow. "You are better off with out him,"

"Mr. J didn't ruin my life!" She yelled glaring at me. I saw Robin give me a side ways glance but I knew what I was doing.

"Has he ever brought you flowers, held you when your scared, kissed you to show how he cared about you," I stopped when her eyes started to water. "told you he loves you?"

A sob left her lips as she stepped forward. Taking her in my arms I soothed her softly.

"Why are you trying to help me,"

"Because I don't think your so far gone that you can't be helped,"

"But what we did to yo-"

"You didn't do that to me, you weren't even aware of it," I said with a sigh. "That was all him,"

"Why thank you for the credit birdy," all of our heads snapped over to where the joker stood with his lackeys behind him. A crazed smile came to his yellowed teeth. "Harls come here," he said waving his hand in a come over motion.

Her face looked so confused as she looked in between us.

"Harley, you can have a better life. We can make sure of it," Robin pleaded with her.

"But he came back for me," she whispered before meeting my eyes.

"Ask him," I said softly. "Ask him if he loves you," I said quiet enough where only she heard. She nodded slowly before turning back to the joker.

"Do you love me?" She asked hope shinning in her eyes. It was quickly diminished when a psychotic laugh was heard across the street from the joker.

"Love you? Of course not. Come now Harley were leaving,"

"No," her statement shocked everyone but I smiled regardless.

"No?" He asked with a glare.

"I don't think she stuttered but I'll happily get her point across if needed," I said with a growl cracking my knuckles stepping forward with Robin who glared silently.

Jokers normal cocky demeanor diminished as he let an angry yell out. Storming across the side walk in front of us he went for Harley but I quickly stepped in his path.

"You wanna play?" I asked flashing my red eyes letting my claws and fangs be shown. Tilting my head I gave a demonic growl watching as he shrunk back.

"She's not worth it," he said with a cackle that I knew was fake because of the fear laced in it.

In a minute he joker and his goons ere gone but not before Dick managed to slip some trackers on some of them. Bats would want to know where to find them.

"Thank you," Harley said softly as she sat on the curb as Robin radioed Batman to give him our location and status. Sitting down next to her I smiled softly.

"I know how it feels to be treated right, to be loved and cherished," I said softly watching as Robin paced next to he bikes talking into the radio quickly nodding at something.

"You and him huh? I called it," she said with a little laugh.

"Apparently everyone did but us," I soar with a giggle. What an odd situation giggling with someone I used to consider the enemy. "One day someone will treat you right Harley. Stop going for the clowns," suddenly a large truck from Arckham drove in front of us.

"This ones for me," Harley said with a sigh before standing up with me following in suit.

"Take care, Harley. Maybe I'll come visit to make sure your getting better," I said as she was being strapped into a seat.

"I think I'd like that," she said softly.

"Good luck," I said softly as the doors closed and the truck quickly drove away. Arms wrapped around my waist making me sigh with a grin.

"You did good babe," Dick praised in my ear.

"Thanks, I just know how a girl should be treated. I have the best after all," I said turning around in his arms with a smile. Kissing me softly I felt his lips turn up.

"Come on I'm tired and there is a couch back at the cave calling for us to cuddle on it," grinning down at me I matched his with my own. Walking back to our bikes we quickly road back to the cave at mock speeds.

We found ourselves snuggled up in our civvies in a pile of pillows and blankets on the couch.

"I love you," Dick whispered into my hair making me sigh in contentment.

"I love you too,"
