Flipping over another oddly dressed henchman I gave Dick a weirded outface which he mirrored. Do villains dress their employee because if so I would quit these outfits were atrocious.

"Like I understand your the riddler but are all these question marks really necessary?" I whined at their poor fashion choice. Robin gave a nod as he delivered a spin kick to a mans hand knocking the knife away. Jumping forward I kicked his legs out laying the man out.

"Riddle me thi-"

"Oh my god dad enough with the riddles!" I heard a girl groan from behind me making me whip my head around. Stepping out of the bank vault stood the riddler and the owner of the earlier voice who looked to be around my size with a much more fashionable suit that also looked easy to move in. "If I hear one more riddle I might turn you in to the police myself and I'm not sure how mom would feel about bailing you out again," the riddler shut up quickly at the girls words making me let a small smirk cover my features.

"Well at least someone in here knows how to dress," I groaned pointing at the girl.

"Hey I try to tell him believe me," she stated putting her hands up.

"Rhyme stop fraternizing with the enemy and take her down," the girl groaned before jumping forward aiming a kick at me while I  dodged doing a back flip. Another round of henchmen came through the door being held off by robin and batman as I threw a punch at her head to which she nicely dodged.

"So is it fun to like be a villain I always wanted to know," I asked while ducking away from her. Shrugging a little she jumped back when I tried to kick her chest. "I'm asking you because it would be really hard to ask an adult villain because all they ever do is shout their catch phrase and say how we can't stop them," she laughed slightly when I said the 'catch phrase' part.

"It's ok i guess, my dads the riddler so you can guess it's," ducking again she finished her sentence. "Pretty weird. I honestly would be perfectly fine with a normal life where I don't have to go out and rob a bank with my dad so we can have father daughter bonding time,"

"You know you could switch sides," I said stopping a moment.

"Ya," she said with a sigh rocking back on her heals. "But you know I have to keep the old man in check,"

"Oh girl I understand," I stated with a smile which she returned. "Well I hate to do this because your pretty cool but I'm gunna have to take you down. Our dads seem to be wrapping up," I said awkwardly.

"Hey no feeling hurt here," looking over we saw our dads fighting before Bruce delivered a swift kick to his jaw knocking him out.

We both let out an 'ohh' while cringing.

"That's gunna hurt in the morning," we both said together before giggling.

"Here just cuff me, dads already down and I'm kinda tired," she said placing her hands out. "Besides the first day of school for me is tomorrow and I do not have time for this," cuffing her quickly we walked over to the rest of the group.

Rhyme ran over to her father shaking his shoulders softly with her cuffed hands. "Dad, wake up," She whined before poking him in the face. "Well tweety it was nice having that chat with you but I do have to go to school tomorrow and I can't be put into the system because of my dad so I must be off, see you later," with a wink she disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Looking around we found nothing but in their place was a note. Walking forward I picked it but before reading it aloud.

"Switching sides doesn't sound all that bad," I smiled before folding the note and placing it in my utility belt. "Well we stopped the robber and i am tired too, I suggest we head home," skipping out of the bank I hopped in the bat mobile as the boys followed behind me giving me odd looks.

"Tweety did you make friends with the enemy," Robin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey she was nice and we had a lot in common," i defended my new friend wit a cross of my arms.

"Why cant you be friends with normal kids your age," he groaned out.

"Im friends with Roy!"

"He's five years older then you and is not normal,"

"I am not normal,"

"I can't say that your wrong,"

"Wait what about Robin! He's my friend and my age," I said with a ha.

"Still not normal Charlie," Dick said with a shrug and a smile on his face.

"Well then I guess I'll just have to make friends when we start our first day of public school tomorrow!" I said pumping my fist in the air. "I'm excited," I said with a grin. "How bout you Dick,"

"As long as we have some of the same classes I'm sure I'll survive," I turned in my seat to look at him.

"I'm sure we will have everything together! Alfred made sure to call and make sure!" I grinned as I watched a bigger smile break out on his face.

"That's awesome!" While Bruce drove us home while listened intently to us chat about our upcoming first day he hid his small smile that both the children were already best friends. Once home we all had a quick snack thanks to Alfred and were quickly sent to bed seeing as it was almost midnight.

"Wake up Charlotte you need to get ready for your first day," Bruce said into my ear shaking me softly making me groan. "Come on," moving my blankets he picked me up. "Up ya go, now go get your uniform on and I'll do your hair," I groaned but put walked to the bathroom anyways and put on the pleated skirt and button down shirt. Sliding on the knee high socks and shiny new black shoes I was all ready other the my hair. Walking out I sat on the floor in front of Bruce who braided a nice French braid with a navy bow with sparkles in it to give it a finishing touch (picture of braid above)

I was proud of Bruce his braiding skills were off the charts now, four years of practice has done him well.

The morning zoomed by and soon I found myself in the back of a Maserati with Dick while Bruce drove with white knuckles.

"Dad you might want to loosen up I'm sure the wheel didn't do anything to you," Dick snickered beside me as we watched his grip loosen.

The rest of the drive was filled with excited chatter courtesy of Dick and I. Once we pulled up to the school Bruce drove to the very front and parked the car. Jumping out of the car I took in my surroundings quickly watching as the rest of our little family did the same. I guess it was a bat thing.

In front of us stood the elementary school that went from kindergarten to sixth grade next door was the junior high and the high school which were combined.

"You two have a good day, stick together, and make some normal friends," he put infuses on normal making us laugh. Hugging us both to him quickly before releasing he gave us a smile. "Be safe and watch each others back,"

"Got it," we said together reaching down I grabbed Dicks hand waving with the other I shouted an "I love you," to Bruce and was off with Dick in tow.

As I turned I ran into a brunette girl around my age with pretty green eyes. Her books feel to the ground in front of us.

"Oh gosh I'm so sorry," I said quickly dropping down next to her to pick up her books with her. "I'm sorry I was really distracted and I just-"

"Hey it's fine it was an accident," she reassured with a grin.

"I'm Charlie...oh and this is Dick," I introduced with a matching smile while gesturing to Dick who helped me stand up.

"Well I'm Aria,"

"Uh so were new here could you maybe point us in the way to the office," Dick said scratching the back of his head awkwardly.

"Oh ya just follow me I can take you there!" She turned and waved us to follow her.

"Hey I like your bow," I said pointing at her bow that looked exactly like mine put green and sparkly.

"Yours too! This uniform needs a little pop of fashion," she groaned pulling at the plaid skirt with a pout.

"I know right! I'm so glad I meet someone with a good fashion sense,"

"Ah were going to be such good friends," she said with a grin we began to walk but not before I grabbed Dicks hand who seemed happy to just watch us. "So are you two like a thing or-" Dick and I both blushed but I didn't let go of his hand.

"Oh no he's just my best friend," I said with a soft smile squeezing Dicks hand who returned my smile.

"Oh well let's go get your schedules then," Aria said bouncing off with us in tow.

We made it to the office quickly and retrieved our schedules. As planed Dick and I had identical ones. Aria compared hers and we saw that she had her first period with us and a few other classes.

"Ok so these are where both of your lockers are mine is just a few down that way, I'm going to put some of these books away really quick," with that she zoomed off to her locker.

"She seems nice," Dick said happily while placing his unneeded books in the locker as I did the same. I nodded happily till someone bumped into me harshly. I was hurdled into Dick who caught me easily and steadied me.

"Watch it newbie," someone said rudely. Turning around harshly I gave them a glare.

"Excuse me but that was rude," I said crossing my arms while balling up my fist.

"I don't care, I'm a sixth grader meaning I rule this school so watch yourself,"

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't realize you thought you were so cool, please except my deepest apology," I said sarcastically with a flip of my hair I turned. Only to have him grab my back pack.

"Listen ki-" he shut up when Dick yanked me behind him so that he wasn't holding on to me anymore.

"Don't touch her like that ever again," Dick growled actually making the kid take a step back and look a little intimidated. The kid stared at him for another second before cowering away with a huff and walked down the hall way.

"Let me guess you used your very effective bat glare,"

"He deserved a lot more then a glare," Dick muttered before grabbing my hand and pulling me down the hall to Aria who looked at us with wide eyes.

"You just put Harrison Peters in his place," she said in awe. "You two are definitely going to be my new best friends," she said with a grin while guiding us to our class.

"This year is going to be great,"
