Dream

Bright light bothers my eyes, before opening them I squeezed them tightly and found myself standing on water. I look towards my feet and make eye contact with myself but in human form.

I kneel over the water and touch with my index finger my other self, the reflection of me follows my movements as we finally make contact with each other.

But for a minute the other me's eyes turned red and grinned maniacally at me. I stood up and back away from my own reflection but unfortunately it followed my every movement, while I was backing away I came in contact with something hard.

I turned around and saw a tree. A beautiful tree with bloomed flowers and tiny cocoons, I smiled at it. My hand reached towards the tree, touching it's rough trunk. Suddenly I hear a deep mysterious voice.

"  All will be made clear, in the course of nature...Eve ".

My head turned to look at both sides to see who said those words but I couldn't find the source of the voice.

" Eve... "

End

I opened my eyes and sit up from where I was lying down. I turned my head and saw that the sun was setting.

" This is not the Sakamaki Mansion... " I scratched my head while I looked around what I think was the living room.

" You're finally awake " A recognizable voice spoke.

I turn to look at the owner of the voice.

" Ruki-san... " I smiled and stood up, he did the same and we both walked towards each other.

His beautiful blue-grey eyes stared deeply into mine, he put his arms around my waist while I did the same but around his slender neck.

" You kept your promised.. " I mumbled against his neck.

" Of course I did, Eve. You are so important to us " He stated.

I let go of him and smiled happily.

" Koneko-chan~ I missed you! " Cold arms wrapped themselves around my waist making me smile. There's only one person who calls me by that nickname...

" Kou-kun! " I spun around,giggling and gave Kou a big bear hug.

" Oi! Kou, don't keep her all to yourself " Yuuma protested grabbing the back of Kou's neck.

His arms left mine and were replaced by bigger ones.

" Heh, looks like we are finally reunited Risu " He responded while tousling my hair.

Pouting my lips, I noticed Azusa hidding his mouth with his hand.

" Azusa-kun " I walked towards him and poked his nose.

" Eve...I...finally get...to...see...you...again " He grabbed my hand and held it tightly.

" This is the mansion we all live in and of course your new home Koneko-chan~! "

My eyes were suddenly wide open.

" W-what? No, I belong at the Sakamaki household! " I furrowed my eyebrows.

" Belong? " Ruki coldly asked, " You want to go back to that place? ".

Breathing heavily I turned to look at Ruki.

" You were treated as a plaything by them,were you not? "

" That's not true! " I objected.

" Even if I stay here, you guys would do the same thing! " I bit my lip, regretting what I just said.

Ruki glared at me and I trembled a little.

" How dare you compare us to them? " He asked coldly, " Unlike them, we at least have some sense ".

" Don't treat them like that- " I was interrupted by an annoyed voice.

" Man, how annoying! You are defending those despicable vampires! " Kou exclaimed bitterly.

" They are not despi- " Again I was interrupted.

" Just shut up and obey us! " Yuuma demanded.

I looked away from them and clenched my fist.

" After all we need Eve's blood to choose the Adam among us.. " Ruki put his hand on my shoulder.

I glared towards him as tears threaten to fall from my eyes.

" Eve..." Azusa mumbled.

Ruki sighed , " Come. I will show you to your room ".

I nodded and followed him.

In her room

I was sitting on the soft bed, looking towards my hands. Ruki sit beside me and put his hand over mine.

" I apologize for talking to you that way " He quietly said.

I shook my head, " No. It's me who should be apologizing, it was very rude of me to compare you guys to the Sakamakis. Each one of you is different from the other and I love all of you guys the same ".

Ruki took my hand and kissed it.

" I accept your apology Juliett " He mumbled against my hand, " I must go, I have some matters to attend to... "

" Yes, of course " I nodded my head.

Ruki stood up and left the room, closing the door behind him.

Sakamaki Mansion

Ayato sat on the single couch and scoffed, " Damn...I can't find Ran anywhere ".

Laito pouted " Seriously, where did Chou-chan run off to~? "

" I'm so thirsty... " Kanato sadly mumbled and hide his cute face behind Teddy.

" Any idea, Subaru-kun? " Laito questioned.

" How would I know? " Subaru looked away.

Shuu yawned " She'll come back eventually ".

" I hope you are right..." Reiji sighed.
