Part Two - What?

Hail quickly stepped away from the body. Upon closer inspection, the body was female, and was clad in a dark grey spandex suit that was identical to Hail's, the Zara mark on the shoulders. She was certainly dead, seeing that half her head was missing...

Hail gulped when she saw more bodies, male and female alike, scattered around the dome, blood everywhere. What caught her eye was the cylindrical stone stand about three feet high with a diameter of about 1 and a half feet. In the center of the stone...podium...thing....was a small item in the shape of a black pyramid. It was pitch black with veins of purple somehow glowing through it. It was almost mystical.

Hail walked to the podium, stepping over and around many bodies of dead agents. Some she even knew when they were alive. She swallowed the grief and turned to what she assumed was what the higher up's wanted...the pyramid item. Hail knew if she took it, it would trigger something, but what else could she do?

As soon as she touched it with her hands, it started to glow brightly immediately.

'Oh SHI--'

KABLAM!

Hail flew backwards from the force of the explosion the item made, tumbling to the ground. Her hands burned, and her body ached. She didn't bother to check the damage as she heard a strange hissing sound. Hail shifted to a sitting position and watched as a black string of smoke appeared behind the podium, forming into some kind of horrid smoke demon with three claws for hands. It swelled until it was twice Hail's size, floating toward her relatively fast.

Hail quickly conjured a ball of poison in her hand, and planned to hit its' eyes. The tactic seemed to work effectively. Her hand flared in pain as she used her power, getting a bit dizzy, but she ignored it as the smoke beast prepared to swing.

She flung her arm, flinging the poison where it's eyes were. It hit with a satisfying splat!

The thing screeched, one hand moving toward it's face, the other swing frantically. Hail quickly scrambled away from the smoke being's reach and stood, running around it, and swiping the black pyramid from its spot on the ground into her bag and looked around for an exit.

Hail spotted a small hall tucked away from the light, and she booked it into the hall, leaving behind the screaming smoke being.

She ran for a few minutes, then relaxed knowing it wouldn't follow. She continued at a steady pace, the feeling of sickness and a headache growing in her core and head. Hail looked at her ands, and her heart jumped. She stopped walking.

Her fingertips skin were black, and small veins of purple were glowing softly, pulsing. It seemed to spread to her palms slowly. It hurt.

'Is this poison?'

Hail continued to walk, in a cold sweat even though she felt like she was on fire. She didn't know what kind of poison it was, even though she is thoroughly knowledgeable in poison, poison and healing being her powers.

She stopped in front of a metal doorway. It was a double slide door, accompanied by a pass code panel. It looked human made, the technology high class. What's this doing down here?

But this wasn't the most confusing.

'Why is there a Zara corp mark on the door...?'
