"Tumhari itni himmat ki tum mujhpe haath uthao?" Sharad asked the feral cat in a high-pitched tone, every inch of his body thundering like a sandstorm at hearing in repeated mode the heart-churning noise of her SLAP.

"Kyun? Phir se maar ke dikhau toh yakeen hoga?" Naina asked him derisively, his threatening aura not shaking her commendable confidence.

"You bitch." Sharad raised his hand to give her the taste of her own medicine, but just then his wrist was seized by someone as brutal and unforgiving as Sameer midway, the latter's bloodthirsty eyes boiling with a fluid of uncontrollable abomination.

Naina shrank back at the menacing sight of her husband, and Sameer began to thrash the piece of inhumanity with his callous hands and harsh legs, pushing him down on the floor where he deserved to stay. Sharad tried to attack this overly powerful man, beating the hell out of his body, but failed over and over again.

"Sameer, kya kar rahe ho tum piche hato," Naina told her aggressive man in a quivering tone while attempting to get a hold of his unstoppable hands, but just one dangerous look from his side was sufficient to kill her courage.

"Teri himmat kaise hui meri biwi ko haath lagane ki." Sameer furiously roared at the remorselessly walloped man, his eyes blistering with untamed ferocity.

"Teri biwi ka attitude dekha hai tune?" Sharad asked him in a low voice while staring into his moist eyes darkened with pure malevolence.

"She slapped me." He added with unalloyed malice in his loud voice for the petite woman shivering at a few inches distance by watching her husband abuse him heartlessly.

"So what, Haa? You will raise your hand at her? Yeh tere so-called ethics hai? You must have misbehaved first. Kyuki main apni biwi ko ache se janta hoon woh bina wajah kisi par haath nahi uthayegi." Sameer finished his sentence first and then began to assault the sickening man as vigorously as he could, forcing crimson blood to ooze through his broken nose, slowly skimming toward the edge of his mouth. Sharad had no potential to fight with this extremely beast-human. He would rather be silent than provoke him to damage his bones.

"Sameer please, stop it, khoon aa raha hai use." Naina knelt and placed her palm on her husband's shoulder while trying to convince him in a soft voice, her frightful eyes moving at poorly thrashed Sharad.

"I don't care, jisne meri Naina par haath uthane ki koshish ki, use bitch kaha, I won't spare him. Maar dunga jaan se." Sameer replied to her with an uncalming anger brewing within him as he recalled witnessing Sharad using abusive language and then raising his hand at his fragile girl.

How could he let him go so easily?

He should be chastised brutally for his somber mistake of trying to manhandle a woman.

He should know how a man should be rewarded with severe kicks, painful slaps, agonizing punches, and insufferable thrashing against hard corners for his chivalry of showing his masculinity despite knowing he wasn't treating her right with respect.

Sharad should definitely learn how to be respectful and considerate toward every human around him.

And his words should always carry sincerity, calmness, patience, affection, kindness, and decency for the person he is conversing with.

Hence, getting harsh on Him was much needed to make him a better human.

"Sameer pagal ho gaye ho kya yaar? He needs a doctor." Naina gently yelled at him, trying her best to make her husband understand that his cruel actions against Sharad weren't pleasant at all for her to see and that he should stop it right now for their betterment. But she knew his answer already.

He wouldn't listen to anyone unless Sharad apologizes to her publicly for his misbehavior.

"Tumse badtameezi karne ki uski yahi saza hai ki woh aaj yahan se sahi salamat na jaye," Sameer told his wife in a grave tone, his icy cold eyes silencing every word she wanted to say, and he harshly lifted the whipped man by using his collars, nailing him against the nearest wall while groaning in utter rage. He curled the twists of his shirt stained with fresh-damp blood and challenged him in a deadly low voice - "Bahut shauk haina tujhe dusro ki biwiyon par apni mardangi dikhane ka. Chal, himmat hai toh mujhse ladh kar dikha tu, maar mujhe, be a man."

Sharad wasn't able to open his eyes, feeling whacked, he had never been physically maltreated. No matter how many wrongdoings he committed in the past. Nobody dared to clobber every part of his body with such brutality, and he wouldn't forgive Sameer for his unforgiving attitude.

"Sameer yaar tum samjh kyu nahi rahe ho." Naina nearly screamed at her husband for paying no attention to her warning, and just then someone's authoritative voice echoed in the vicinity, alarming everyone - "Hello Sandeep bhau, jaldi se aap police ki team leke Bandra hill road ke waha jo restaurant hai, waha aa jao. Yaha mere husband ko kisi ne bahut hi buri tarah peeta hain."

Sameer paid no attention to the powerful woman asking someone over the phone to bring a police officer and looked at smirking Sharad in sheer annoyance.

"Now you are gone." He said in an amused tone, jerking off his hands with a victorious smile.

He saw his wife Janvi rushing towards him to handle his exhausted and weak frame, and she sat down while carrying his feeble self, gently stroking his blooded cheeks. There were tears of angst in her eyes at seeing her husband in such a terrible condition and assured him - "Tum tension mat lo. I will not leave this man...jisne bhi tumhari yeh halat ki hai dekhna aisi punishment milegi use."

Sharad hummed with a hidden monstrous smile rolling on his wobbling lips, snuggling against her chest and wrapping himself completely around her to pretend that he had fallen asleep due to extreme physical torment. Janvi kept stroking his sweaty hair, fuming in resentment and mentally vowing to not spare The man who thrashed her delicate husband like an inhuman beast.

Naina slapped her forehead in response, glaring at Sameer for being obstinate which will now surely land them into big trouble.

"Kaha tha na maine ki bas karo, ruk jao, ab aa gayi na museebat itni badi." She chided her aggressive man in a stern voice, thoroughly disappointed by his cruelty.

"Just tell me one thing. Did he misbehave?" He asked her in a curt tone, his dark pitch black pools making her shiver in her place.

"Yes, he wasn't letting me go, usne mera haath bhi pakda tha, aur last me pucha tha if...if..." She stopped abruptly out of uneasiness, clutching her clammy fingers as firmly as she could while batting her drenched-frightful eyelashes at her hazardous husband who wouldn't take a second to take the life out of Sharad after knowing the disgusting question he asked before earning a tight slap on his face.

"Don't hesitate jaan, tell me everything, I swear I will not beat him," Sameer assured his panicking woman in a gentle voice, although he wasn't sure if he would be able to keep his promise.

"He asked me ki kya..." Naina was breathing rapidly, her chest clouding with fogs of trepidation.

"Kya main tumse satisfied nahi hoon, because I am not pregnant yet." She finished her sentence in one go with her palpating eyes squeezed tightly in timidity and her lips whispering silent prayers to God to give sufficient wisdom to her husband to not invite another huge trouble for them.

Sameer's heart churned noisily when he heard something too ridiculous to believe. He couldn't digest Sharad could stoop so low to satisfy his wounded ego. Just by hearing these words, he was feeling nauseous, wanting to break Sharad's remaining bones. He banged his clenched fist against the pillar to calm down his blooming masculine urge to run to the loathsome human and thrash him again and again, but it only encouraged grave pain to envelope his perspiring young skin with a slight quantity of scarlet blood flowing through the sides.

But does this pain even matter at this moment?

His wife's broken heart and shattered self are more important for him to console than these synthetic bruises on his hand.

How sickening Naina must have felt when Sharad acted all repulsive?

How would she have dealt with his unpardonable comments and disgraceful eyes?

He cannot even bear Sharad around her for a nanosecond, forget about allowing him to come an inch closer to her to threaten her.

"Are you okay?" Sameer asked her in a soft voice while caressing her quavering palm, preventing himself from using his injured hand.

"I am not, and I won't be until I sort out this matter," Naina said with hot tears embracing her scared eyes.

"You don't have to worry. Trust me, aaj literally Sharad ka unluckiest day hai, I will make sure everyone sees his real face." Sameer's firm assurance with a slow smile on his face surprised her tremendously.

"What are you thinking to do?" She asked him with a tremble in her voice.

"You will get to know." He said normally, waiting for the real action to begin.

A few moments later.

"Kya hua?" Sandeep came running to his sister with a worried countenance, and as soon as his eyes laid on his fainted brother-in-law lying on Janvi's lap in such a horrible condition. He couldn't help but curse the man for treating him like a worst enemy.

"Dekhiya bhau kya halat kardi hai Sharad ki is aadmi ne." Janvi glared at the tall man, casually standing against the pillar while expressing no compassion for her husband.

"Ise toh ab police sabak sikhayegi," Sandeep said furiously, glaring at the merciless criminal.

"Kya naam hai tumhara?" The police officer came ahead to ask the tall man with a raised eyebrow.

"Sameer," Sameer said normally without an ounce of fear and hesitation.

"Aur yeh ladki kaun hai?" He questioned while dubiously glancing at Naina.

"Meri wife," Sameer said with a tilt of pride appearing on his lips.

"Hmm, tum jante ho jisko tumne itni buri tarah peeta hai woh kiska damad hai?" The man in a khaki uniform asked the brave boy in front of him with a mocking smile.

"None of my concern, sir. Yeh aadmi Sharad isi layak hai, he misbehaved with my wife. He tried to stop her...he held her hand, and wait. He was about to slap her. Kya yeh sab ek acche ghar ke aadmi ko shobha deta hai?" Sameer's confident reply with comprehensible reasons behind his wild action staggered the crowd and the police officer as well.

But Janvi didn't believe him.

For her, Sharad was a gentleman.

He cannot even raise his voice at her during their arguments, forget about raising his hands on her, and doing domestic violence.

"Yeh jhoot bol raha hai, Sharad is type ka ladka hai hi nahi jo ek ladki par haath uthaye. Woh toh mujhe bhi kabhi nahi daant tha, haath uthana toh bahut door ki baat hai." Janvi said acrimoniously while amusing Sameer with her foolishness to trust the man sleeping on her lap.

"Madam, aap na badi misunderstanding me reh rahi, is delusional world se jaldi bahar aa jao, kyuki warna jis din aapke yeh so-called gentleman husband ka sach bahar aagaya na us din aapko bahut guilt hoga khud par, ispe trust karne ke liye." Sameer tried to elucidate the poor, blind-in-love woman in a disgruntled tone, aversion slipping through every word he was using to describe the piece of disgust.

And Sharad, who was pretending to sleep, heard everything with anger boiling inside his heart, wishing he could get up and retaliate back.

"Tum jante hi kitna ho mere husband ke bare me?" Janvi asked him in a loud, ear-blasting voice.

A salty chuckle rolled out of his mouth at Janvi's meaningless question, and he exposed one of the past stories in front of everyone with calm eyes  - "Aapse zyada toh main aur meri biwi jante hai is aadmi ko. Naina, my wife, uske 18th birthday party celebration me bhi tha yeh because iske papa aur Naina ke papa best friend the, woh uncomfortable feel kar rahi thi iski presence me, phir bhi baar baar yeh aadmi uske close jaane ki koshish kar raha tha. He was asking her, again and again, to dance with him...she was clearly not interested in him, but isko koi fark nahi padha and he kept trying to touch her."

Sharad was shocked to a deep extent after learning the mystery he wanted to solve for a long time but had no clue from where to start, hence he always stepped back and stayed quiet. But tonight he comprehended the reason and the enigmatic man behind his BROKEN NOSE, his entire body now dreading The king of thrashing.

Janvi and Sandeep looked at each other with nothing but pure astonishment framing their faces, the trust in their hearts for Sharad now gingerly vaporizing in the warm air.

"Last year jab humara reception tha, waha bhi isne Naina ko offensive words bole, and made her feel scared. I don't know what all he told her...I just know one thing ki jabhi bhi yeh aadmi meri biwi ke saamne aaya hai he always made her feel uncomfortable." Sameer added further with loathe in his moist raven black orbs, the genuineness in his voice while narrating old stories making everyone believe him.

"Hum kaise maan le jo bhi tum keh rahe ho woh sach hai?" Sandeep asked the tall man with suspicion flittering over his face.

"Hmm, good point, well iska bhi solution hai," Sameer said with a lighthearted expression, and his amused gaze immediately shifted from the mustache man to quivering Sharad, the slight movements of his left hand breaking a wicked smile on his face.

Naina's insatiable curiosity drew a crowd of exhilarated onlookers. All eyes fixed on Sameer as he gingerly coaxed the trembling restaurant manager into the spotlight. Despite his initial reluctance to be seen by the police officer lurking nearby, the manager couldn't resist the allure of the moment for long.

"CCTV camera lage hue hai corridor me?" Sameer asked him with a serene face, and the young man in a white shirt slightly nodded his head for yes while breathing fastly.

"Toh 45-minute pehle ka footage clip play karo zara," Sameer demanded with a devilish smirk, causing the lying guy to suddenly feel a shake of giant terror in his heart.

He wouldn't be forgiven if his truth was out in front of his wife and brother-in-law.

He was aware of Sandeep's aggression if someone lied to him or cheated his close ones.

He wouldn't spare him alive if he knew he had lied to his sister.

"Hmm, CCTV footage se sab clear ho jayega." The police officer said with a firm look, eager to unfold the mystical and intriguing story.

And now Sharad knew he was Trapped completely.

He was left with no option.

Either this or that way he would be the one to get punished for his sin.

Naina was gobsmacked by her husband's smart move to reveal Sharad's bitter reality and make his innocent wife see how maliciously her husband was treating a girl and trying to manhandle her.

She was internally celebrating Sameer's first step towards their victory, and a small smile played on her lips.

Janvi lowered her anxious eyes to her fainted husband, who was profusely sweating and swallowing down, his lips shivering out of fear, and his weird activities were now concerning her.

Everything the young boy said was right about her husband?

Was he speaking the truth?

Did Sharad really misbehave with the petite girl?

Did he try to stop her ways and raise his hand at her?

Janvi wasn't able to understand anything, she had no idea how to be sure about Sharad's peculiar demeanor. He had been noticing Naina quite a lot during dinner and was eyeing her time and again, but she thought she might be overthinking and he was just looking at her randomly.

Her line of thought was interrupted by the meek voice of her elder brother, Sandeep, and she was asked to join them in the CCTV room to see the footage and get her doubts crystal clear.

Sharad quickly got up, knowing that acting like a lifeless body wouldn't do anything. Better he apologizes to Naina for his mistake of mistreating her and solves the issue.

At least he will get a chance to earn his wife's forgiveness. If she would see the CCTV footage and acknowledge his heinous acts she wouldn't even look back at him ever, and his family would kick him out of the house for spoiling his image in front of these powerful and rich people.

"I am sorry Naina." Sharad joined his hands with guilt circling his face with his eyes downcasted, and everyone was rendered stunned.

"Tum kyu sorry bol rahe ho?" Janvi asked her husband in sheer confusion.

"Kyuki galti meri hai, maine Naina ko provoke kiya tha...I was asking her inappropriate questions, hence in response she slapped me, mujhe gussa aa gaya aur maine bhi haath utha diya, but just then Sameer came and all this happened." Sharad confessed everything in a low remorseful voice, his hands still mingled and bowed in front of Naina, causing his wife to feel aversion for him.

"Why were you irritating her?" Sandeep questioned his brother-in-law in a stern voice.

"Past issues. She insulted me last time we met, aur jabse mujhe uska badla lena tha...I am feeling ashamed of whatever I did to satisfy my ego." Sharad said with meekness in his broken voice, making Janvi regret her decision to immediately call the police officer. This matter will now surely reach out to her father.

"Sun liya madam?" Sameer looked at her with amusement on his face, and Janvi wasn't able to endure public humiliation because of her husband's Impulsive action.

"We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused by Sharad. Next time aisa kabhi nahi hoga aapke saath iski guarantee main leta hoon." Sandeep seeks genuine forgiveness from the young couple for pointlessly embarrassing them and wasting their time as well, and Sameer just hums, veering his head at the sinful human to threaten him in a somber tone - "Agar tum meri biwi ke aas paas bhi nazar aaye na aaj ke baad toh bappa ki kasam. Aisa hashra karuga tumhara ki zindagi bhar yaad rakhoge."

Naina quickly clutched her husband's right forearm to calm down his animosity, and he shot a glance at her through his neutral eyes with tranquility promptly replacing the blistering heat of repulsion on his visage.

"I am fine," Sameer assured his scared girl in a soft voice, pressing his fingers over hers.

"Hyala jail madhe taak kiva maaf kar hyala?" The police officer turned to ask Sandeep, who was a well-known political party member.

(Ise jail me daal de ya baksh de?)

Before he could say anything. Sameer interjected - "Don't you think sir yeh question aapko humse ya to be precise meri wife se puchna chahiye tha? Since she has been a victim. Not Sandeep."

Mortified by his honest statement. The police officer asked the same question to Naina with politeness in his voice, who refused to file a case against Sharad for misbehaving.

But not before giving a piece of advice to the unpardonable human with stony eyes - "consider yourself lucky kyuki Is time main jaane de rahi hoon, par agli baar agar tumne mujhe kisi bhi way se blackmail ya bad touching ki. Toh phir hum sidha court me milenge."

Sharad affirmed to her through his silence that he wouldn't repeat his mistake, and his wife Janvi told him in a disheartened tone - "Aaj jo kuch bhi hua haina yaha, main bhul nahi paugi...aur na mere gharwale tumhe maaf karenge."

"I am sorry." He apologized to her as well in a feeble voice, his eyes having no courage to meet with her teary ones.

      •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Naina was bandaging her husband's injured palm with trembling hands, her eyes looking more watery than the lake itself, twisting his heart. Sameer whispered in utter anguish while moistening his lips, biting them occasionally to restrain his groans.

"Kitna shauk hai tumhe hero banne ka, humesha khud ko chot pahucha dete ho." She scolded him with severity in her voice but all the loverboy could feel was her affection and care for him and his wound.

"Heroine jab bhi museebat me hoti hai tab hero hi toh use bachane aata hai," Sameer said with a heroic smile, but a loud mewling noise escaping his throat shuddered the kind-hearted girl to the core, and she dreaded dressing the grave cut below his thumb.

"Main Baba ko call kar rahi hoon, he will bandage you," Naina suggested.

"No way, tumhi karo, tum apne in soft soft haatho se bandage lagaogi na toh dard bhi nahi hoga mujhe." Sameer's flirtatious smile and frisky remark didn't please her at all. She glared at him instead of swooning over his twinkling face, and said with a cute expression - "Thappad padega ek agar is time pe flirt kiya toh."

He made a sad face, dropping his eyelids, slanting his inner brows, and lowering the corners of his lips.

Naina melted at his pretty-pretty face and fake unhappy expression with a tiny smile crinkling on her lips.

"Theek hai karlo flirt." She said with the sweetness of honey dripping in her euphoric voice, but the angry boy didn't budge, looking everywhere but at her.

"Oye." Naina lightly slapped her hand on his left thigh to attract his attention.

But

No response.

So now, she had only one choice left with her.

She began to tickle him with her feathery fingers on his waist and thighs, causing immediate laughter to erupt in the young rude man. Sameer tilted back his head while cackling aloud, holding her hands to stop her hysterical assault on his sensitive points. Naina chortled in the end while pulling his bubbly cheeks wider which had been her best timepass since forever, and pecked his button nose before moving back.

"Aise kaun manata hai yaar? I thought I would get hot kisses." Sameer complained with a sulky baby face.

"Pehle dressing karne do phir jitni chahe kisses le lena." And once again her tantalizing offer zipped his mouth and coerced him to sit submissively, with his soft onyx eyes focusing on her hands meticulously wrapping the doctor bandage around his sleek wrist. Naina was already done with wiping off his thick dried blood and applying transparent ointment over his dark heart-wrenching bruises and was now delicately covering his injured hand, experiencing ectopic heartbeats while doing the needful.

"Hogaya." She announced meekly, relieved to know she accomplished the difficult task.

"Toh ab kissie kissie time na?" Sameer's eyes glittered extra tonight, and he forwarded his pouty lips to wipe off the aromatic-sweet real strawberry gloss from her succulent ones, but Naina had some other roguish plans stored in her mischievous mind, pressing the first-aid kit between their faces when her husband tried to kiss her, blocking his view of seeing her rose petals, and he frowned at her immediately, staring at her waggish smile becoming devilish.

"What is this, Naina?" He asked her with a perplexed expression.

"What?" She feigned innocence.

"Kyun karti ho aisa?" Sameer questioned the lady of naughtiness in a meek, dismayed tone.

"Jo cheez aasani se mil jati haina uski koi value nahi karta," Naina replied to him with a cute, babyish smile.

Chuckling softly at his wife's adorable thought. Sameer tenderly rested his warm palms on either side of her dusty pink cheeks, saying in a respectful tone with an unfading adoration in his luminescent irises - "Meri jaan, jitni value main aapki karta hoon na, woh immeasurable hai, it cannot be said, expressed, showed, it can be just felt. Sirf itna jaan lo, you are the best gift of my life, meri taqdeer bana di tumne."

"Aur meri tumne." Naina smiled mushily at her man, leaning towards him to happily lock his lips.
