• Commitment Ring •

Sameer stared at her without blinking, his lips sealed, and face glowing with a warm kind of delight as he avowed Naina was asking him to wear this ring and officially become her Partner In Crime. He weakly descended his moistened gaze on the ring grinning at him from inside the box, and tears streamed down his cheeks.

All their delightful moments came rushing to his mind with hot fluid unrelentingly dropping on his rough stubble, and an emotional smile gradually graced his soaked lips.

Naina admired how her man expressed his shock without uttering a word, and joy intensified in her soul.

"What is this?" Sameer asked her in a meek tone after a momentary silence.

"I am proposing to you to marry me," Naina replied to him with a sweet smile, her foot aching now because of the high heel she was wearing.

"Really?" He was shocked to even understand the frown on her face.

"Yes Baby! Jaldi haa karo heel ki wajah se pain hone laga hai ab mujhe." She spoke with a cute smile, and he quickly plucked out the ring from the velvety skin, beholding the gold-toned shimmering ornament in his hand.

"It's Beautiful!" Sameer whispered, his moist eyes pinned to the diamond sparkling on the expensive ring.

"Arey yaar Haa toh bolo pehle." He heard her yelling at him in annoyance.

"Kiske liye?" Sameer asked her in confusion.

"Shadi ke liye, pagal." Naina chided him while trying to adjust her heel on the muddy ground.

"Usme haa kya karna, tumhare siwa kiske saath shadi karuga main waise bhi." Sameer replied to her with an innocent smile, and Naina, though didn't want to be berserk at him, said vexedly - "You know what, tumhe propose hi nahi karna chahiye tha mujhe."

"Toh kiya kyun?" He asked her in a low voice.

"Sameerrrrr." She yelled his name in utmost rage, and he began to chuckle, holding her hand to make her stand up on her two teeny-weeny feet. Naina smiled at her lummox boyfriend, and Sameer spoke with a loving smile on his face - "Yes Janam! I will marry you, and not just for a day but every day we will live together."

"Matlab roz shadi hogi?" Naina asked him with a dramatic expression.

"Shadi ka toh pata nahi but..." He ran his knuckles on her silky tresses, and said in a deep baritone voice - "First Night roz hogi."

Her cheeks gave tough competition to her saree as she looked like a freshly plucked apple because of his naughty comment, her eyes lowered to his shirt, and Sameer gently smiled while placing his index finger under her chin, asking her - "Manzoor Haina?"

"Haan," Naina uttered, in a soft voice, hugging him tightly to hide her flourishing red skin. Sameer lovingly patted his palm on her blouse string while grasping the unalloyed beauty of the ring in his hand, and his heart fluttered countless times when he recalled how unexpectedly and beautifully his woman asked him to Marry Her.

She felt wetness drenching the fabric of her blouse as he cried quietly, enveloping her petite frame firmly into his manly one, and He slowly sewed his moistened eyes, murmuring her beautiful name in a gentle voice, like it was an orison. Naina soothingly ran her hand through his fluffy black hair, calming him down, and Sameer spoke, happiness visible in his voice - "I Am So Shocked."

"Shh bas." Naina crooned him while patting his head, and Sameer wasn't ready to let her go.

He controlled his tears and told her weakly - "It's so difficult to believe you just proposed to me, mujhe toh mere birthday wale din ki yaad aa gayi jab aise hi achanak se tumne mujhe I Love You kaha tha black saree me. Samjh nahi aa raha main itna kismat wala kaise ban gaya suddenly. Jis ladke ki ek khwaaish kabhi puri nahi hua karti thi, aaj uski itni badi khwaaish puri hone jaa rahi hai. Kaise yakeen karu batao?"

"Acche logo ke saath humesha accha hi hota hai Sameer," Naina replied to him with a benign smile.

"Yeh accha nahi, bahut zyada accha ho raha hai ab." He gently laughed, and broke the hug, cupping her adorable face while smiling.

"This is a Commitment Ring from me, ab tumhe bilkul darne ki zarurat nahi hai...main khud ko mita dungi lekin kisi aur ko kabhi nahi chunugi tumhare pyaar ke saamne." Naina held his hand, stroked her fingers on his trembling palm, and said in a solemn tone, her bewitching eyes caressing the gleaming ring now, which he still held tightly and possessively in his sweaty grip.

"Thank You So Much!" Sameer kissed the diamond with eyes shut, and lips covered on the ring.

"You are welcome, Mere Sajna." Naina fondled his hairy cheek while looking at him in sheer jubilance, and Sameer pecked her forehead.

"I Love You, Naina Janam." He whispered huskily, deeply touching her heart with his gentle confession.

"Love You Too." She replied, warmly smiling at him with a sprinkle of tears coruscating in her eyes.

"You know Naina, aai will be so happy. Kitne time se keh rahi thi kab aayegi meri bahu...kab main uske saath chai time enjoy karugi, kab main uske liye uski favorite kheer puri banaugi, par ab Finally unka aur mera barso ka intezaar khatam hua." Sameer said with a bright smile, and added in a raspy voice - "Aa Rahi Hai Unki Bahu, bahut jald."

"Very Soon," Naina whispered in a soft voice, blushing a dark crimson shade in acknowledgment.

"Can I tell her, you proposed to me?" He asked her in a gentle voice.

"Of Course, isme puchne wali koi baat nahi hai." She replied to him with a sweet smile.

"Thank you, and sorry. I don't have a ring right now to make you wear and give you my solemn commitment." Sameer confessed, his feeble voice swathing with guilt for not having advance preparation for the wedding proposal.

"Koi Baat Nahi Shona, jab meri family maan jayegi humari shadi ke liye us din tum pehna dena mujhe ring," Naina spoke with an understanding smile on her pink lips, and now he would have to manifest day and night that Mhatre's will diligently give their agreement for their Wedding.

"Sabse biggest task toh ab shuru hoga," Sameer said, or rather warned himself to be prepared to get humiliated by her dominating family.

"We will do it, Sameer." Naina gripped his hand tightly, and said in a meek tone, kissing his fingertips with the softness of her babyish lips setting his desires on fire.

"Yes! We will." Sameer affirmed.

"That's like my boy." She enthusiastically placed a tender kiss on his lips, and there was no back out now.

Sameer promptly grabbed her lower back under his masculine touch, and delicately kissed her lips while stroking the pad of his index finger on her enticing mole. Naina felt the chords of their hearts mingling the music of soothing love as they both intimately kissed each other under the opalescent sky dappled with the hue of fluffy white, and professed their feelings for one another through the soft twirls of their unrushed tongues.

Sameer clasped his fingers around her glass bangles, which were dancing femininity in the broad daylight, and the inevitable gloss blooming out of them with his gentle hold twisted his heart in sheer euphoria. Naina sensually stroked his manly stubble while smooching him, and her other hand rested underneath his warm shirt, observing the cold liquid dripping down on his abdomen. She ran her fingers on his scalp bathing in fresh sweat due to the humid weather and sensed his feet dragging her backward, leading to a well-sculpted column. He kept her pinned there, dominating her with his gentle yet fierce moves, and she savored his spicy, warm breath leaving strokes of tranquility in her soul.

Sameer had been entranced by her ever since he saw her adorned in a sensational shade of red, wearing the ornament of mischievousness in her black-lined eyes. She looked mesmerizing and enthralling, and a well-depicted story was written in her enigmatic smile. He caressed her golden studs while firmly capturing his lips against hers, and felt her quivering beautifully under his dominance. Sameer tickled her beauty by kneading his palm on her tummy, slowly stroking her belly button ring, and Naina couldn't stop whispering his name in satisfaction.

Realization dawned on him when she struggled to unbutton his shirt, and Sameer quickly drew back his head, looking at her confused face in sheer reluctance and guilt.

"Tumhe dekh kar pata nahi kyu mere hosh udd jate hai," Sameer whispered, woefully lowering his gaze to her lips.

"Toh tum kya chahte ho tumhare hosh uda ne ke liye aur koi aaye?" Naina asked him with a waggish smile.

"Yahan main pareshan hoon aur tumhe hasi aa rahi hai." Sameer chided her softly.

"Yeh dooriyan bhi jald khatam hogi meri jaan, phir tumhare hosh ke saath saath sab kuch uda dungi main," Naina replied to him with a sensual touch in her enchanting voice while looking down at his shirt and trousers, causing redness to occur on his cheeks.

"Main us pal ko abhi jeena chahta hoon." Sameer expressed his wish, his forehead joining hers shiny one, and his fingers clasping her wrist.

"Tumhe kya lagta hai mujhe nahi jeena us pal ko? Mujhe nahi mehsoos karna tumhe phir se? Par kuch cheezein sahi waqt aane par hi acchi lagti hai, Sameer, aur woh waqt zyada door nahi hai abhi." Naina coaxed her man while caressing his cheeks from either side, looking into his morose eyes with mild innocence.

"I believe you," Sameer said gently.

"And I Love You," Naina replied to him with a loving smile, making him blush.

"Chalein ab lunch kare? Ki tumhari lipstick se hi pet bhar loon apna?" Sameer asked her in a husky voice, and she gawked at him with a shy smile gracing her luscious lips.

"Tumhari Marzi, main toh lipstick saath le aayi hoon waise bhi." She said naughtily while palming his shirt collars.

"Lipstick nahi, lipstick lagane wali chahiye hai." He replied to her throatily, dipping his head in her neck to bask in the feminine scent.

"Woh toh yahi haina tumhare saamne," Naina said in a deep voice.

"Haa lekin pyaar apni jagah aur bhuk apni jagah hai," Sameer spoke with a cute smile while lifting his head to look at her giggling.

"Chalo." She held his hand and dragged him toward the nicely organized table.

They both had lunch ordered by Naina, and Sameer couldn't stop licking his lips while praising the cooks for saturating his stomach with such scrumptious eateries. Naina was gently cleaning his oily-stained mouth from the tissue while laughing at his childish antics, and he pouted, pointing his finger at his lips. She vigorously shook her head for a no, and Sameer gave a crybaby expression. They both giggled at the end, and later devoured Coconut Brownie Ice Cream, with Her leaving a tiny white dot on her nose. Sameer leaned closer to her to wipe off the tempting cream, and instead of using a handkerchief. He swiped his tongue on her nose, biting it gently. Naina shyly stared at him for being naughty-naughty all of a sudden, and her man suggestively winked at his blushy-blushy woman.

After having a beautiful Lunch Date. Naina dropped Sameer outside of the society, and she returned to her office for work.

He was in a jovial mood, frequently gazing at the ring shining on his finger. He couldn't wait to tell his mother and sister that Naina have asked him to marry her.

Taking a deep intake of breath. Sameer reached his home via elevator and found three pairs of footwear dropped outside. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as to who appeared at their place out of the blue? Brushing aside his thoughts. He kept his shoes on the rack, and walked inside, only to be greeted by three familiar people, perched on the sofa.

"Namastey." Sameer politely greeted the guests while coming ahead.

"Namastey beta, hum tumhara hi intezaar kar rahe the," Vasundhara replied to him with a sweet smile.

"Mera? Kyu?" He asked them in apprehension.

"Pata chal jayega." The lady just smiled, abruptly closing the mysterious topic.

"Hi Sameer." Tripti gently greeted the tall man.

"Hi," Sameer replied to her in a soft voice, sitting beside his mother.

"Ahmm dekho humein ghuma fira kar baat karni nahi aati...sidhe mudde par aate hai." Ramakant started to speak, rubbing his palms anxiously, and Sameer felt his heart frantically beating against his chest.

"Actually, hum yahan Tripti ka rishta leke aaye hai...Sameer ke liye." He added after a while, in a gentle voice, his eyes directed on the young boy, who blankly stared at him, still assuming it to be a joke.

"Rishta?" Savitri whispered shockingly, all aware of Sameer's and Naina's blooming relationship.

"Haa, agar aap logo ko koi aitraaz nahi ho toh...waise hona toh nahi chahiye hai kyuki humari beti bahut acchi hai. Aapki family ko pura kar dengi." Vasundhara said with a calm smile as she could sense the duo of mother and son looking uncomfortable and frightened.

"Dekhiye aap." Before Savitri could say anything. Sameer interrupted, looking at the brunette hair girl in solemnity - "Can I talk to you, Tripti?"

She meekly nodded her head for a yes, and rose on her feet, walking behind Sameer as he led to his room, slightly closing the door. They both paddled to the adjoined balcony, and Tripti was enamored by his rich personality. He looked so charming in a shirt with mild stubble, and she realized once again why she fell in love with him at first sight. Smiling like a Buffon. She stood against the steel pillar, staring at his timid countenance in affection.

"I Can't Marry You, Tripti," Sameer said with a rueful expression, and her gentle smile quickly evaporated as she felt solemnity in his voice.

"Why?" She meekly asked him.

"I Love Someone Else." He answered her without taking a second, and Tripti felt her poor heart shattering into myriad pieces.

"Ok! She is very lucky." Tripti restrained her tears and told him weakly.

"Thank You, I am so sorry, but main helpless hoon." Sameer apologized to her in a soft voice.

"It's ok, you don't have to be Sorry, aur waise bhi Aai Baba zid kar rahe the ki humara rishta ho jaye, baki mujhe koi itna tha nahi." Tripti lied to him to maintain her self-respect as she couldn't let him wound her ego at his outright rejection.

"That's Nice," Sameer said with a relieved smile.

"By the way, can I know her name?" Tripti asked him curiously.

"Umm sorry, but I can't disclose her name without her permission," Sameer replied to her with an apologetic smile on his face, and the brunette hair woman could feel rage unbolting her self-control.

"Alright, I hope whoever she is. She is better than me." Tripti said tersely, immensely envious of the girl who stole Sameer's heart and him from her.

"Yes! She Is." Sameer spoke confidently, as he did not doubt that Naina was far better than Tripti in every aspect.

Tripti started to walk ahead, knowing now nothing is left to talk with him, but suddenly something stopped her midway, and she swiftly turned back to look at him in suspicion - "I Hope You Aren't Dating, Naina?"

Sameer palely stared at her, his body language changing at the mention of Naina, and Tripti's apprehension was increasing now.

"Why do you think, I am dating her?" Sameer asked her in a low voice.

"Tum logo ko kahi baar maine dekha hai ek dusre ko secretly stare karte hue...aur Aryan Dada ki shadi me when I asked you tumhe kaisi girlfriend chahiye hai. You told me Naina Jaisi." Tripti truthfully told him everything she noticed so far, and Sameer wished he could tell her that Yes she was right, but well, the predicament wasn't appropriate for such a big revelation, also he first have to talk with Naina before mentioning her name anywhere.

"Aisa kuch nahi hai." Sameer lied.

"Achi baat hai phir," Tripti said with a sigh of relief.

"Kyun?" He asked her in perplexity.

"I Don't Like Her." She confessed.

"Toh?" Sameer questioned her with confusion marring his face.

"Nothing, tum nahi samjhoge, siblings things." Tripti gave a small smile and left from there.

Sameer stood there in utter puzzlement, wondering why Tripti dislike Naina so much? And what would be her reaction when she would get to know he was dating her enemy only? He was afraid of any more unwanted drama and an aggressive battle between families, also his sister is married to Tripti's brother. He couldn't risk his sister's life at any cost...he should discuss this serious matter with Aryan before it leads to conflicts.

"Itna accha din tha, pura mood kharab kar diya." Sameer thought with a disappointed visage, but a smile was alive once again on his face when he glanced down at the ring.

He didn't go out to face the elders as he felt awkward and guilty too, so he just leaned his back frame against the railings, his arms folded around his chest, eyes focused on the black wall situated in front, and thoughts traversing to Naina and the high voltage drama that would take place at her house once her family would be aware of her affair with him.

Sameer despondently shut his eyes, trying to calm down all the unnecessary possibilities framing his mind.

Half an hour passed, when Savitri came into his view, her face looking ashen.

"Gaye woh log?" Sameer asked his mother with a worried expression.

"Hmm, just abhi," Savitri said in a low voice.

"Kya kaha Tripti ne?" He questioned.

"Sameer ka affair hai kisi ke saath isliye woh shadi nahi kar sakta hai," Savitri told her restless son in a meek tone, and Sameer disappointedly shook his head.

"Fine, waise bhi kabhi na kabhi toh pata chalta hi," Sameer said casually.

"Tujhe nahi lagta tune galti kardi Tripti se shadi ke liye Na kar ke?" Savitri asked her son with an ashen face.

"What? Kya keh rahi hai aap aai, I love Naina, Tripti se shadi kaise kar sakta hu?" Sameer chuckled at his mother for talking no-sense thing.

"Kya Naina ke gharwale manege? Yeh log toh khushi khushi tujhse rishta jodne ke liye taiyar hai, jabke Naina ke gharpe toh teri shakal se bhi nafrat hai woh log. Kaise hogi tum dono ki shadi batao?" Savitri said thoughtfully while staring at her son who was madly in love with Naina, and Sameer was mum for a good time.

"I know, they hate me...par hum dono jab unhe aaram se samjhayege, apne pyaar ke bare me batayege toh woh log maan jayege aai," Sameer assured his worried mother with a gentle smile, however, he wasn't sure himself about it.

"Yeh sab kehna aasan hai beta, lekin haqeeqat me karna utna hi difficult hai...Tujhe kya lagta Naina ke gharwale jab tu unke ghar jayega rishta leke toh teri baat sunege woh log ek second bhi? Sidha tujhe dhakke maar ke nikal dege. Pehle kya beizzati kam huwi hai humari jo tujhe aur karwani hai?" Savitri berated her son for being blind by love and not using his mind to think rationally rather than emotionally, and Sameer stared at the aging woman with visible fear on his face, the excitement to show her the ring on his finger gradually evaporating in the air.

"Dekho aai, chahe jo ho jaye main sirf Naina se shadi karuga, warna aise hi rahuga. I am nothing without her." Sameer calmly told his mother while exhaling a deep breath, and Savitri shook her head in disbelief.

"Kar jo karna hai." She said vexedly.

"Aai please, aap mujhe aur mat darao...main pehle se hi bahut dara hua hoon." Sameer requested his mother, with a helpless expression.

"Main tujhe dara nahi rahi hoon beta, tere acche ke liye keh rahi hoon...dekha hai tujhe pehle bhi toot the hue, phir se tujhe aise dekhne ki himmat nahi hai mujh me. Naina bahut achi ladki hai, mujhe bhi pasand hai woh, aur mujhse zyada koi khush nahi hoga agar tum dono ek ho jao, par uske gharwale bahut ucche khandan se hai...woh log yahan kaise rishta jodege?" Savitri caressed his cheek while looking at him with unshed tears in her old eyes.

"Hume uske gharwalo se kya lena dena aai, hume Naina se matlab hona chahiye na," Sameer said gently.

"Beta, shadi kabhi sirf ladka ladki ke beech nahi hoti...shadi do parivaaron ke beech hoti hai jo unhe jod kar rakhti hai zindagi bhar," Savitri replied to him with a soft expression, and he took a deep breath.

"I will handle it, and I promise is baar main pehle jaisa behave nahi karuga," Sameer told her solemnly while kissing her forehead, and Savitri just hummed, trying to brush aside her motherly emotions.

"Acha in sab me main aapko ek good news batana toh bhool hi gaya." He said with a sweet smile, and she looked at him in confusion.

"Naina ne aaj mujhe Shadi ke liye propose kiya hai," Sameer announced with a wide smile while showing off the glittering ring to his mother. Savitri stroked the diamond in sheer happiness, and said - "Kitti Chaan, main bahut khush hoon."

"You should be, Naina jaisi ladki sirf kismat walo ko mil sakti hai aai...aur main khud hairan hoon is cheez se ki main itna lucky kaise hogaya." Sameer said in a deep voice, his eyes filling with pride, and Savitri replied to him - "Naina bhi badi kismat wali hai jise mere bete jaisa itna chahne wala saathi mila."

"Kuch Bhi." He coyly looked away.

"Sach me, mera beta toh laakhon me nahi karodon me ek hai, aur dekhna bappa teri zindagi khushiyon se bhar dege." Savitri was becoming emotional hence Sameer asked her - "Bas Aai, aap jake rest karo ab...warna aapke aankhon se water tank shuru ho jayega ab."

Laughing at his joke. She kissed his cheek and walked away from his sight.

Sameer inhaled a sharp breath while thinning his lips, and thought - "Meri khushiyan toh sirf Naina se judi huwi hai...woh hai isliye main itna muskura pata hoon."

His Me-Time was interrupted by a loud sound of the ringtone, and Sameer saw Parrot 🦜 icon appearing on the screen. He smiled to his fullest as he acknowledged they had a telepathy connection, and swiftly swiped to answer the buzzing call.

"Hi Baby." Naina greeted him lovingly.

"Hi Jaan, pahuch gayi tum office?" Sameer asked her in a soft voice.

"Haa, abhi chai pee rahi hoon." She replied to him with a lopsided smile.

"Tu aur chai?" He exclaimed unbelievably.

"Hmm, tumhari yaad me," Naina said while slurping the ginger tea.

"Oye hoye, ek ghanta bhi nahi hua hume mile hue aur meri yaad bhi aane lag gayi?" Sameer asked her amusingly while raking his hand on his hair.

"Haa toh, tumhe hiccups nahi aate kya?" Naina replied to him playfully.

He sniggered and acted to hiccup aloud, causing her to giggle on the call.

"Pagal." She said with a sweet smile.

"Gori Tere Pyaar Me," Sameer replied to her in a husky voice and placed his right foot on the left one, his lips stretching wide for a smile.

"Aai ko bataya?" Naina asked him softly.

"Yes! She was so happy, keh rahi thi meri bahu toh badi tez nikli isme." Sameer teased his woman while rubbing his beard, and Naina knew her future mother-in-law must haven't said this to her.

"Kuch Bhi." She said in a meek tone.

"Sacchi yaar, aur unhone yeh bhi kaha ki jitni meri Bahu tez hai utna hi double slow mera beta hai." He added further, making her laugh aloud.

"This is right." Naina agreed while guffawing.

"Chal chal, I was just joking," Sameer said with a cute pout on his face.

"But I Am Not Joking." She replied to him, taking a large sip of the tea.
