Mole

Blinking fast lights. Tied up to a medical bed, still recovering from the strong tranquilizing injection, Everett was being taken to a laboratory where scientists would use him as a test dummy for Geneticorps new substances. The nurses took him into a highly secure room, where first they had to be sanitized by gas, then finally heading into the main lab. Everett could only see glimpses of scientists in teal overalls, with bonnets and masks to cover their hairs from ruining their experiments. Geneticorp had grown a lot over a year, as their resources weren't over when the California HQ fell, this site was always owned by the company.

Everett was rolled into a specific sealed and soundproof room, at first, he tried to fight against the containments, however, he had absolutely no strength to do it, so he just accepted his fate. Right outside the door, Orville and Amanda were communicating with the scientist responsible for Everett's experiment and general attendance.

Orville conversed, "Do what you want with him. We thought he'd be useful, turns out he's just weak."

The scientist replied with a short and sweet nod.

"Very well then." Orville tapped the scientist's shoulder, stomping out of the room. Amanda followed him, glaring back at the worker.

Before heading inside the experiment room, the scientist removed his mask to breathe. It was no one other than Samuel Heo, not exactly working for them, but as an undercover spy, with the goal of exposing their true intentions to the world. As a pair of two doctors passed by, he put his mask back on.

The mole goes inside the experiment room now, carrying a cart with utensils with him. Everett's eyes widened, struggling to get off the bed. The scientist tackles him down, "Stay still."

Everett jumbled his head until the fabric covering his mouth came off, "What are you doing to me." He breathed heavily, glaring at the scientist.

He replied while pulling up Everett's sleeves, "Testing new medication."

"On humans?" Everett raised a question, still struggling to breathe from all the strength.

"Better than animals." Weo replied sharply. He proceeded to scrub a wet tissue in the crook of Everett's arm, sanitizing it.

Everett coughed up blood, asking, "How did you start doing this, this company's name is Geneticorp."

"You know Dr. Carter, Genetics isn't only about De-Extinction or Prehistoric Cloning. It is a branch of biology that focuses on genes and the well-being of the human organism, so it does fit into our area." Heo headed over to his cart, searching for the medicine he was supposed to insert into Everett's organism.

Everett laid his head back down, saying, "I know this idea isn't original."

"You're right, it isn't." Samuel agreed as he picked up the right needle, "Ever since BioSyn's downfall, other companies have found chances to finish what they started, but better. Here in Geneticorp, we search to cure deceases that mankind never expected to be cured."

"Why on me, a human being." Everett observed the needle as the scientist wiped his arm once more time, "I'm not sick either.

"Because a lab rat does not have the same DNA as a human being, does it." Samuel moves the needle toward the arm.

Everett shuts his eyes, trying to avoid the pain. To his surprise, the scientist was pouring the liquid out on a pot beside the bed. Confused, Everett raised his eyebrow, asking, "What just happened."

"Quickly." The scientist slowly removed his mask and cap, unlocking the containment from Everett, "Get up, we have to go."

Everett sat up, stretching his members, "Hold on a second, you're a mole."

"Smart, you're caught up now." Samuel dressed in his jeans and casual shirt, "But before we leave, we have to stop somewhere else."

"Thats fine with me." Everett slowly stands up, following after his savior
