Father
It had passed at least twenty-four hours since the kidnapping of the Lang sisters. They had both come a long way from their apartment in the United States. Andrew Lang their father, had been searching for the sisters everywhere, they weren't seen anywhere near their Mansion in Sacramento, as the sisters probably expected to be found there. After about a year, an agent had finally reported their current location, a small and quiet city in Oregon, taking advantage of Geneticorp's current operation and contract, they sent an extraction team after them, succeeding in their objective, getting the girls back to safety.
Missy slowly regained consciousness after the long trip from America. She noticed she was sitting on a wide, white bench with Teal-ish stripes on the walls. She turned around spotting her sister, Alice, she seemed to be asleep, possibly because she was unconscious before and knocked out another time. Silently, Missy climbs down the bench, crawling toward the door. Strangely, the door didn't include a door handle, only a control panel. Missy sat up, trying to reach the panel. Missy attempted to insert the code she memorized in her last adventure, however, it did not work.
The girl turned to the large panoramic window standing right on the door side, she crawled toward the window, spotting a diverse jungle right outside, with numerous tall mountains and dense foliage. Missy raised her eyebrow, focusing on a tree bark that appeared to be moving, however, it turned out to be a Diplodocus raising its head from the trees, grazing.
Missy fell back, being caught by a pair of large damped hands, she recognized that warm feeling. She slowly turned her head around, afraid of what she might've encountered, it brought a tear of fear to her eye, she could not believe what was happening, it was her father.
"Hello dear." Andrew had the brightest smile on his face, the smile of distrust and dishonesty.
Missy gasped in shock, falling back down, leaning on the wall, "No." She breathed heavily.
"Melissa." Andrew kneeled down to her eyesight, "Listen to me."
"No, no, no, no." Missy looked around her, noticing a strange bright red LED blinking on her ankle. Missy looked further into it, realizing it was a tracker, "This can't be happening, this can't be real."
Andrew laughed softly, stating "Believe me, it is very much real."
Missy soon began to lose instability, her voice was breaking, tears dripping from her eyes, "What do you want with her, what do you want with us."
"I only want to help you." Andrew said, trying to show her a tiny bit of trust.
The girl, however, couldn't be turned, her opinion was settled, "There's nothing you can do to help us."
During their conversation, Alice was awaking from her long sleep. She touched her forehead feeling a headache, her vision was blurry. At first, Alice couldn't focus, the voices around her, distorted. The teenager rubbed her eyes, regaining her sight, then cleansing her ears. While she didn't turn her head at first, she could recognize that voice, she knew that cry. Alice turned her head in disbelief, she gasped.
Missy stared into Alice's brown eyes, holding herself back.
"Alice..." Andrew turned standing up to greet his younger daughter.
Alice stepped back, running toward the entrance. Alice began to insert random numbers into the panels, banging into the door. "NO, NO, HELP." She screamed in absolute fright, she soon began to tear up, just like her sister.
"Calm down." Andrew approached her, touching her shoulders lightly.
The girl would freeze in place, she let out a soft sigh, not giving any desired reaction. Missy was covering her mouth, wiping her tears.
Andrew backed down, giving her some space. He began, "I will give you girls some space, the girls must have altered your emotions, I will come back very soon and you are not going anywhere, enjoy the view, you might spot some interesting species."
Andrew inserted a password, but his body was blocking their sights. After he left, Alice kneeled down to Missy, embracing her hardly. They had also put a tracker on Alice's leg, yet she didn't feel any main, and neither did Missy. The bleak feeling of hopelessness was back, they had encountered the last person they wanted to see, their father.
