Escape
Following the gruesome demise of their former acquaintance, the two reporters are left stranded and helpless on the island. They had learned nothing from their time in the wild, as they spent only a few tricks. Somehow the insides felt more agitated and risky than dinosaur-infested territory, due to the many inclusions and threats that humans could proportion. There were flashing red lights all around the place, they could hear the terrified and nervous screams echoing through the long and distant hallways within the three layers contained within the facility as if there was something wrong going on, or maybe something that broke out.
Emily and Waden still had to find their way out of this island of nightmares, however, left inexperienced and confused they had to go with the flow and follow their instincts. Waden was left completely traumatized by the Terror Bird's aggression, thus making Emily the most stable one present and the one that could potentially get them out of there without any other interruptions or life-threatening encounters.
Whilst they snuck into the facility the sweat on their faces reflected the flashing lights causing a pretty lighting effect on their skin, they hide behind a corner observing multiple staff members rushing into what seemed to be a garage as they were at the lowest level in the building. Emily blended in by squeezing herself in the center of the desperate crowd, with Waden soon building up courage, running after her. As the energy was completely off, keycards were not needed, resulting in the personnel stopping and pushing every door open.
The numerous crowds finally reached the transports station where groups of ten would be picked up by a van and taken to the airfield and garage. When Emily and Waden show up at the depot, they discover something nearly quite shocking, the vans resembled the ones from the supposed disappearance they were investigating. Emily nudged her ally whispering, "Just when I had very little hope, there it is."
Waden looked at her with the widest eyes, "Hell no, don't even think about it."
"Already have." She responded as her voice faded while she scooted through the crowd. Emily hopped into the van, noticing it was rather empty, soon Waden jumped in, noticing the very same thing.
When they least expected the backdoors were shut completely, and there was a minute of silence until the van was driving again. Emily and Waden weren't very comfortable inside, they were feeling every single bump and rock the van passed over. The ride was terrible until they got to an asphalt road, which they were glad to reach.
Strangely enough, they couldn't hear much chatter as they did in the station and the van wasn't stopping, only going slower, they suddenly felt the van going up a ramp and stopping once again in a matter of a few seconds. Emily stood up trying to open the door, "The hell?"
Waden sighed, feeling rather nervous, he could also hear several sounds of chirping and snarls outside of the van, but due to his former circumstances through he was hallucinating. Little did they know that they were closer to an answer for their investigation than they ever were, nor that they were being taken somewhere and to make everything intense, the plane was carrying carnivores.
