Departure

Yvelisse and the young girl quickly escape from the absolutely traumatic image of Samuel's fate that is now stuck inside their minds forever. They shut the door blocking the stairs and the main lobby, possibly delaying the remaining raptors to reach them. They sprint out of the building as soon as possible, heading to the garage. During the attack, Natalie, Everett, and Missy had managed to reactivate one of the ranger jeeps, only waiting for the survivors to return safely, so they could, at last, get out of the island alive, the final pieces of the puzzles were nearly taking place.

Missy propped her head against the window, observing the surroundings cautiously, "There they are."

Natalie unlocked the doors as both of the girls jumped right into the vehicle, noticing their faces were soaked with tears, "What's wrong?"

"HE'S GONE." Yvelisse responded with agonizing pain in her voice. The girl had felt this feeling before, and it was one of the most unpleasant things she had ever experienced throughout her entire life, she hoped she would never experience it again, but any time she gets involved with dinosaur-related disasters, it's what she can expect from the. Death, pain, and agony, the three words.

Due to shock, Natalie wasn't taking off, giving the raptors time to get to them. The mate breaks through the second floor's large window panel, landing on its feet.

Everett flinched back pushing the march forward, "NATALIE GO."

Natalie speeds up the jeep taking off with an amazing pace. The alpha would soon join its mate during the chase as they tried to snatch the humans out of the jeeps, but fortunately being successful in doing so. Natalie takes a sharp turn, luring the raptors into a tiny pit, evading them for a short amount of time, hopefully evading the creatures for a while.

Natalie looked back at the girls, still managing to steer the vehicle, "What happened?"

Missy comforted her sister on the back while Yvelisse was dealing with the loss of a very dear friend, "He sacrificed himself, for us."

Everett had a hard time accepting it as well, confessing, "That was a very bold action of his, I will never forget him."

"He sacrificed his entire career for a couple of strangers." Missy stated as she ran her fingers through Alice's hair, "That's literally so brave of his part."

Yvelisse sniffled as she chuckled a bit, "One of the qualities I most admired about him."

"He saved my life."  Alice said short and sweet, wiping her tears.

Joining the circle of reflections, Natalie began, "During the short time I knew him, he's been nothing but a responsible and worried young man, very dedicated and always focusing on his goals, never giving up."

"That sums it up pretty well." Yvelisse contemplated, "You know? He used to be very different, when he's not worried about finishing whatever job he put himself into, he's the sweetest and kindest person ever. When we found this juvenile Pachyrinosaurus on the middle of a highway, he took her in and embraced her even tho she had the highest chance of dying."She laughed once again, with Alice giving her a comforting hug.

For their luck, they had reached the air garage, but unfortunately so did the hateful deinoncyhsues. The two remaining of their species came face to face with the jeep snarling at the frightened expressions of the people in the driver's seat. The two raptors clicked their sickled claws against the floor, showing the numerous teeth they had to bare and their beautiful yet terrifying plumage. It was certainly the creature you'd want to see from far away, it stared right into its victim's soul only coming closer and closer.

Yet something had to show up for the rescue, Jewel the so-mentioned Pachyrhinosaurus. Distracting the raptors she buffed at them, getting into a battle pose. She strikes her thick tail against the ground as a way to show intimidation, the two predators screeched and hissed, walking around the larger herbivore. Jewel grumbled at them, showing off her crest, as the deinonychus showed off their set of feathers. The dinosaurs clashed into battle, with the carnivores clawing the herbivore and nearly pinning her down. Luckily Jewel was a rather strong individual, she managed to launch the alpha against a tree, possibly killing it off, as for the remaining one, she crushes its spine with her large paw.

Jewel gives the truck a loving look before wandering back into the wild. Assuming they are safe, the humans step out of the vehicle and run into the garage. The entire garage is nearly emptied by the many staff members that managed to escape alive as for others, that's an answer for another time. Yvelisse spots a plane covered in fabric, possibly unseen by the former personnel, "There!"

The group heads toward the aircraft, uncovering it as a team and setting up for departure. Missy and Alice sit together on a cargo crate, contemplating what they would possibly do after the event.

Alice looks at her sister with her soulful eyes, "What happens next?"

"I honestly don't know." Missy responded with sincerity, "I just know were not safe by ourselves."

Alice stops and thinks for a few seconds, "We'll be safe with Everett and Natalie."

"Alice." Her sister sighed, as much as she wanted to do that, "We can't just do that."

Evertt and Natalie came from behind and sat right beside them, with Everett saying, "You're more than welcome to stay with us, and we will protect you from everything."

"No, you are not." An unpleasant and quite disgusting voice spoke coming from the shadows, it echoed through the empty warehouse, approaching the group, "They're coming with me."

Missy and Alice soon went back into their uncomfortable state saying, "No."

"No one is taking my girls away from me ever again." Andrew walked closer to the group, while they went closer to the aircraft, "You cant steal them from me."

Natalie frowned, shouting at the man, "You never cared about them, why do you care now?"

"You don't get to say that." Andrew angered, "You're not her parents." He pulled out an actual gun, with hurtful bullets.

Yvelisse peeked out of the cockpit noticing that something was coming toward them, She whispered into the comms, "Get in."

"I've worked my ass off trying to find a solution for Melissa's problems and maybe even Alices' lesion." Andrew spoke aiming the gun at Everett's head.

The four survivors successfully get into the plane without saying any words. Due to the obvious silence, Andrew turns around to see an old friend of his, Omega. The ramp fully closes, leaving Andrew by himself. The man began to curse out trying to unseal the aircraft as the Utahraptor slowly approached him, the plane drives off and heads into the airfield, leaving Andrew on his knees. He shuts his eyes entirely waiting for the creature to devour him, and it does, it does gruesomely, first his gut, mauling all of his organs out one by one. With the survivors successfully taking off from the island.
