Hope

Not far from dinosaur habitats, there were still facilities aimed at humans. Our fellow duo and their newborn baby dino, were on their way to succeed in their mission as well. Yvelisse crouched down behind a bush observing the entrance of the facility. She turned back to her fellow partner in crime and questioned, "Do you still have the pass?'

Samuel raised his fingers in response, indicating that he might indeed still have it. Samuel placed Jewel down, searching through his backpack. In the meantime, Yve entertained the juvenile dinosaur letting her bite her fingers. Yve had a lot of experience with animals as she had grown up in Costa Rica and partially in Isla Nublar, working with and for the animals was a large part of her life.

"There." Samuel pulled out the keycard, "But we can't just walk in like this."

"I figured." Yvelisse responded with a bit of annoyance, "Any ideas?'

"Take a look." Samuel motioned her head to a pair of scientists hanging out in a dark corner, "What do you say?"

"No!" Yve replied, quite defensive, "That's too risky."

"Really." Samuel eyed her, "And you have any better ideas?'

"Not in the moment." Yvelisse reclaimed, crossing her arms.

"Then my idea it is." Samuel then shoved Jewel back inside his backpack, offering Yve a hand.

She denies it, standing up on her own. The two now sneak their way toward the two distracted individuals. Yvelisse takes a deep sigh she picks up a piece of metal and knocks both of them unconscious.

"That wasn't that hard." Samuel explained as he helped her drag the bodies away.

Yvelisse began to put the disguise over her actual clothes, then asked, "What's the rest of the plan.

Samuel cleared his throat, continuing, "We are two scientists that were assigned to relocate a juvenile pachyrhinosaurus that escaped its paddock, that hard?"

"Not really, I just thought it would've been stupid." Yvelisse addressed as she finally put her gloves on.

Samuel now finished as well, replied, "Then I guess you should think less."

The guard stood by the staff entrance watching over the movement, which he clearly missed out a lot. The disguised pair came face to face with him, inserting the keycard into the door, Samuel also providing the password as he was aware of it. The two walked down the hall, noticing how empty it was.

Samuel stated as he carried Jewel carefully, "Crazy how this series of events caused the downfall of this company."

"Good." Yvelisse protested then later realized it might've been offensive, "Maybe not."

"It's fine." Samuel responded as he took another turn, "I've been considering quitting for a very long time now."

"So you're glad this happened?" Yvelissed asked, showing interest.

"Not exactly." Samuel confessed, "I wished it was a bit more peaceful and quiet."

They soon stop in front of a T-shaped corridor line, Samuel analyzed the structures of the place trying to figure out where they could reach their goal. He then smiled, "Small assets, this way."

Yvelisse followed Samuel's quick steps, which she clearly couldn't keep track on, "Assets?"

"Force of habit." He swore, continuing to go forward.

Until they finally reached their final destiny, however, the door was sealed. Samuel used his keycard once more, draining the battery out of it. The two cautiously entered the garage, the lights were shut off and it was in complete silence. Yvelisse bowed down paying attention to the details, suddenly she comes across a table. Startled, the girl observed the details finding a crate lying the horizontal on the floor. Yvelisse called his attention with a tiny soft whistle, "This can't be good right?"

"Well, it's small so maybe we can avoid it." Samuel asserted trying to keep her mind focused.

Continuing their search in the dark, Yvelisse keeps noticing movements in the shadows, but she stuck to her allies' words for better luck. Yve then read the signs located beside each containment. Most of the cages were either empty or out of order. At that time, she had finally found them.

The remaining Nublar-Tufted-Deer and other endangered species were stuffed inside a large cage together, "Esto no puede ser verdad..."

The girl began to tear up, she bowed down in happiness. Samuel stood beside her looking for possible ways to leave. Yvelisse looked up, unlocking the door. She walked into the cage comforting the animals.

"HANDS UP." A man screamed from afar. The two turn around and do as asked. It was the asset contaminant chief, now bearing an actual gun along with his gadgets. He approached the two intruders, pointing the gun right at their faces, "I've been warned about you two."

"Listen." Samuel was about to speak but yet the man wouldn't let him.

"No. You listen." He retorted showing aggressivity, "I can't let ya take these critters. I had a hard time catchin' them all, now skedaddle."

Yvelisse immediately stood up, replying "Over my dead body."

"Too bad." The man aimed the gun right at the girl's forehead, prepared to shoot. Suddenly they could hear a tiny chirp coming from the shadows, intrigued the man looked further into it. In the meanwhile, Yvelisse and Samuel began to load the creatures into a plane nearby.

The chief bowed down and came across a stowaway compsognathus, "Well, hello there." He stood back up and kicked the creature down to death. He turned around and spotted the two trying to escape, "Now come back here!"

They shut the door in his face, managing to stay safe. The chief began to shoot at the plane which wouldn't do much. Samuel covered the animals in pieces of fabric, "Okay, all right. You know how to fly a plane, right?"

"Took a few lessons." Yvelisse replied as she was completing the process necessary.

Samuel took a deep sigh, wiping his "Good. Then I guess I'll just have to say good luck."

Confused, the girl asked as she put her headphones on, "What?"

"I'm not coming with you." Samuel addressed as he placed Jewel inside a comfortable cage, kissing her goodbye,

She argued back, punching the control set, "No, you have to."

"We'll meet again, I promise. Take good care of Jewel." Samuel assured her, taking final looks at everything he had seen on this eventful journey he took part in.

Realizing it was the mature thing to do, she maintained calm and simply responded with, "She in good hands."

Samuel jumped out of the aircraft, landing on the ground. He ran towards the gate, opening it up for the survivors. Samuel watched as the plane began to take off. Samuel waved goodbye turning around to see the chief being devoured by the compies, he ignored it and fled.
