Upon arriving at their final destination, the Dubrovnik containment team disembarked all the escaped creatures from the vessel and brought them to the warehouse they were being kept. It was currently noon at Bari in Italy as they had left Croatia early in the morning. As for their prisoners, this time they hadn't committed the same mistake again, they would be watched and escorted to each location professionally, as this time the larger boss had control over the operation and complete prudence. Everything would eventually take a much more drastic turn when Orville arrived from the base of operations across the continent. 

After taking a much-needed sleep during their travel from one point to another, the three escapees are awakened by a large bang on the cell bars, with Natalie still suffering the effects of the poisoning, now even questioning the durability of the venom. Katerina appeared to have tried to fight back against the troops, as she had notably loosened up her hair and was very explicitly bruised on her nose. Everett on the other hand was still dealing with his arm being hurt by the mistreated way he was using the weapon.

The guards escorted them against their will to the pier where a man in a flashing suit waited for them, he took his sunglasses off to greet his guests properly. The same man cleared his throat and said, "Good afternoon to you all, you may not know me, but I am in fact someone very interestingly well-known in this field."

There was no response, the three only observed his quirky way of speaking and his very obvious British accent. He accepted the fact the humans wouldn't respond to him at all so he simply decided to induce the conversation himself, "You're not getting a name, I operate in the shadows. And yes I will make myself more clear, I used to work on the London rink, the one where we dropped humans into an enclosed space and let carnivores have their fun, ring any bells? Well yes, I should be incarcerated but Orville pulled some settings and here I am."

"Orville?" Everett asked as he held Natalie in his arms.

Natalie followed the sound of Everett's voice and made a comment as well, "I thought he died in Africa."

"Oh." The man chuckled at the question, "Not very updated now, are we? Perhaps you should ask your little friend over there."

"What do you know about this?" Once again, Everett showed his curiosity, trying to understand the truth behind their mysterious motives and actions.

Katerina let out a big tired sigh, she appeared to be acting differently, "I sold you out."

There was silence, both Natalie and Everett simply did not know what to hear from the woman, and her response even surprised the man somehow.

"You two had a big bounty over your heads." Katerina couldn't believe she had betrayed her allies, but also lifesavers, "And so did I, this was the only way I could save myself, I knew what I had to do."

The man noticed the tension and simply tried to break from this subject, "That really wasn't what I asked."

"You betrayed us." Natalie scoffed in disappointment, "After we gained your trust."

Everett shared the feeling with Natalie, questioning Katerina's motives, "Then why are you still here?"

"It obviously did not go accordingly to plan." Katerina responded unamused, showing little emotion.

"Whatever, enough with this sad melancholia." The man shoved himself in between the feuded allies, once again trying to bring the attention to him only, "You can call me The Announcer as my name shall remain unmentioned. Bari is such a beautiful city, what a shame you don't get to have a city tour before our encounter."

Just in time for The Announcer to see, the hybrid is being carried out of the vessel in its highly protective and secure containment crate. The Announcer was eager to see the creature from the moment he set foot on the floor. The man rushed to the crate trying to catch a glimpse of the creature, "Hello gorgeous." He said to the animal as it attempted to bite the circular glasses on the door, The Announcer jumped a few steps back and wiped his tuxedo appropriately, "Geez, it is very aggressive. Now we have to move."

The group is taken from one point to another, arriving at a much cleaner and more sophisticated pier. The prisoners are escorted into a technological and futuristic superyacht, designed to carry and support thousands of tons, with a heliport in its frontal basin. Following their embarkation in the boat, the prisoners are shoved into a supply room, The Announcer bowed down to speak to them, "Now you listen very carefully, there is not you three can pull to escape here, it is highly protected and you're surrounded by water, and look, you're handcuffed. So, all I have to say is, see you in a few hours, our chef is preparing the most dazzling meal."

Now locked up in the supply room, the prisoners must wait for seven hours until the other guests arrive as their location was closer to the encounter point than others ever were. With tension building up in the room, the three would have to learn to tolerate each other for the better.
