Ch. 10: The Oogs
Years pass since you and Vin Vin have been together. Now, you're both married. It's been six years since you've both been together. You've been married for five. What happened was before he could propose to you in marriage, Vin Vin had to adapt a last name, legally.
The first thing to come to his mind was... Oog. You both signed a chart with his last name being Oog. Yours too, now. So, that's what your guys' last name is now. Oog. You were cool with this. He is from the beginning of time after all and this was the norm.
That's not all. Not only are you now married, but you and Vin Vin now have two children. Your eldest is your son named Wolfgang. He's five years old. He's feral like his dad once was and looks just like him in kid form. Your youngest is your daughter Darla who is three years old. She speaks like you do.
When your mom told you before that she wanted a granddaughter, it turns out after Wolfgang was born, she loved him no matter what. She and your dad are just happy to have grandchildren. Then Darla came along two years later. She also got the love.
And not only did you teach them just the English language... you've also taught them Japanese. Wolfgang just has a more... 'feral' or caveman-ish way of speaking it when visiting his mommy's side of the family. But they both know, now. Both of your kids ended up picking up on things quick.
Darla does have a bit of anxiety, but she is extremely smart like Wolfgang, you and Vin Vin. Both kids are bilingual like you are. You even taught Vin Vin some Japanese. He's the one still trying to learn more of it, fluently and be up there with you and the kids. He like Wolfgang speaks it in his own prehistoric-ish way. You'd laugh about it, sometimes. He at least caught on to modern technology. Different languages take a lot more time.
Plus, at least now Vin Vin can drive. He's been driving for three years. It took a few tries for you to teach him without him freaking out. But now, he manages just fine. He knows he has two children and he has to keep his composure for their sake and safety. He now has a job at a pizzeria.
When Vin Vin calls his kids, he calls Wolfgang Wolfie or son and calls Darla lovely. You were also good with this. Anytime you'd hear the word lovely, you'd think of Darla. And Wolfie with Wolfgang.
Right now, you're in the kitchen making dinner. Vin Vin is at work at the moment. You both now have two vehicles and since you yourself come from a wealthy family, you have just that. You have a red car and Vin Vin has a dark gray one. You also live in a different house and since your mom suggested you do. She told you that the kids should each have their own rooms.
You've already enrolled Wolfgang into preschool a year ago, so he goes there. Your parents agree to babysit them. Mostly Darla since you haven't gotten her into a school quite yet. Vin Vin always thinks of his own parents, though. If they had been around and saw their grandchildren, they would love them unconditionally.
You're cooking eggplant parmesan. Darla is in her room playing with her dolls and Wolfgang is in the backyard playing. You hear this from Wolfgang, "Me jumpy! Yeah, yeah yeah! Me likey jumpy!" You look out at him and you sigh and smile saying, "Just like his daddy."
But then you hear Wolfgang yell this in Japanese, (Shit shit!) You gasp and you walk to the back door. You open it and you yell in Japanese, (Wolfgang! Watch your language, young man!) He stops and looks at you, putting his head down in shame. He says, "Me sorry, mama."
You say, "Good. Don't let me hear you cussing again. Understood, honey?" He nods and says, "Me sorry." You smile and you say, "I love you, my little Wolfie. I'll call you inside when dinner's ready, okay honey?" He grins and says, "Me eat!" You smile and you say, "My handsome little guy." You shut the door and you continue making dinner. Vin Vin will be home soon.
You hear this, "Mommy! Mommy!" You recognize that as Darla's voice and you smile. You look back to see her standing there. You say, "Hi, baby girl.~" She grins and giggles saying, "Mommy. Where's daddy?"
You say, "Daddy will be back really soon, our little lovely. Go play. Mommy will call you when we eat, okay my baby girl?~" She smiles and nods. Tongue sticking out. She walks off. You sigh and you smile saying, "I love my babies so much. I couldn't imagine my life without them and my husband."
You smirk and you giggle saying, "Speaking of the prehistoric dilf of mine... I've got a special surprise for him when he's home from work. But later after the kids are in bed. All for you, Vin Vin.~" You grin.
About ten minutes go by and you hear the front door opening and Vin Vin yelling, "Wifey! Son! Lovely! Me home!" You smile and you say, "And there he is." Vin Vin sees Darla walking downstairs and he smiles.
Darla sees him and she grins and yells, "Daddy! Daddy!" She runs to him. He grins and ducks down to hold his arms out to his little daughter. He says, "Lovely!" He holds her close and he smiles and rubs his cheek against hers. He says, "Ooh, me little lovely." She says, "My daddy."
He kisses her a few times on the cheek and she giggles. He moves away and he says, "Where mama at?" She says, "She's in the kitchen, daddy. Bubby's outside." He picks her up and he says, "We see mama, huh?" She smiles and nods. He holds her close and he walks into the kitchen to see you. He smiles.
You hear this, "Pretty wifey." You smile and you turn to see Vin Vin. You say, "Hey, baby. How was work?" He says, "Work good. But kid almost puke on Fritzy." You say, "Awe. Poor little guy... girl." He says, "It boy. Fritzy say it okay. He not mad."
You say, "I didn't take Fritz Smith to be the mean type. He's a big softy. Even more so than you are. I've seen you feral the moment I saw you at Walmart a few years back." He says, "That true... Where son?"
You say, "Wolfie's out in the backyard." Vin Vin looks over and he walks over. He sees Wolfgang playing and jumping around, acting like the feral little guy Vin Vin himself once was during his time. He smiles and says, "Like son, like dada. Me same, once."
You say, "Dinner's about ready." He sets Darla down and approaches you. He pulls you close and he smirks and says, "Me love wifey.~" You say, "I love you too, Vin Vin. So much.~" You both lean in to kiss each other, then you pull away.
You whisper, "Your wifey's got a special surprise for you later when the kids are sleeping. Just for you, baby.~" He blushes and he smirks saying, "Me can't wait.~" You walk to the stove to continue cooking dinner.
You get it done and you get plates out. You say, "Vin Vin. Could you get Wolfgang for me?" He smiles and says, "Yeah. Me get him." You smile and you say, "Thanks, baby. Let him know we're about to eat." He nods and walks to the back door. He opens it and yells, "Son!"
Wolfgang looks over and he grins saying, "Daddy!" He runs over. Vin Vin grins and ducks down to pick up his son. He says, "There me son. How son doing, huh?" Wolfgang says, "Me good." Vin Vin says, "Me bring you inside. We eat, now." Wolfgang nods. Vin Vin puts him down and says, "Come inside and we eat." Wolfgang follows his dad inside the house.
