3 weeks pass since the baby was born and neither Al Haitham or Kaveh got much sleep. They were taken turns taking care of the baby especially in the night.

But mostly Al Haitham was doing everything due to Kaveh being sick since given birth and not feeling like himself.

But tonight their was a festival going on and Kaveh wanted to go so they all went out.

And as they walked around Kaveh was holding his baby and smiling at him and talking with him.

Kaveh : oh you look just adorable in your cute little outfit don't you. Doesn't he look cute Al Haitham?"

Al Haitham : I guess?"

Kaveh : EXCUSE ME!?"

Al Haitham : that's not what I meant!. Yes he looks very cute!"

Kaveh : oh good."

Al Haitham : how are you feeling?"

Kaveh : better. This just took a lot out of me. Kinda felt like it took the life out of me. But it was worth it"

Al Haitham : ......."

Al Haitham never saw Kaveh so happy in his life then when he was with his son. It was to see that.

And he didn't expect himself to help raise the baby with Kaveh and basically act like it's father but he didn't hate it.

There's nothing he wouldn't do for the kid and Kaveh.

Yet he was worried about people being after them and who the other father was if they were really dangerous and he got the feeling they were.

Kaveh: Al Haitham can you go back to the house I forgot the diaper bag"

Al Haitham : I can't leave you al-

Kaveh : I'll be fine I'm heading straight to Nilou she's right over there?"

Al Haitham : .....fine"

After this Al Haitham left while Kaveh went to go see Nilou who was only a couple feet away.

But then suddenly someone grabbed Kaveh's arm and pulled him over away from the crowd behind some buildings and then covered his mouth.

Unknown person : listen I'm not here to hurt you I only want to talk. So do not scream understand?"

Kaveh nodded and then asked the unknown man who has his face covered with a mask.

Kaveh : who .....who are you?"

Unknown person : I believe it's obvious who I am"

Kaveh : ......the father......"

Unknown person : right you are. Now all I wanted to do was see you. but given the situation
At hand I can't do that publicly"

Kaveh : i-

Suddenly the baby woke up and immediately started crying and Kaveh tried to calm him down but couldn't and just held him close not trusting this man at all.

Unknown person : as expected."

He tried to reach out his hand to touch the baby's face but Kaveh took a step back.

Unknown person : you don't trust me do you?"

Kaveh : doesn't matter if you're the father I don't know who you are....."

Unknown person : well That's understandable. But who do you think has been keeping you alive? A lot more came after you but they never got close"

Kaveh : why are people after me....."

Unknown person : it's quite simple they want to kill you to hurt me. "

Kaveh : .....how can you stop them"

Unknown person : finding them is harder than I thought. But until then there's a better way I can protect you"

Kaveh : how?"

The unknown person then git closer and said grabbing his chin and tilting his head up to look at him.

Unknown person : come with me. You'll never have to worry about anything again if you do."

Kaveh : ........"

Unknown person : it's a simple request. After all isn't a perfect little family all you want?"

Kaveh didn't know what to think and felt a chill go up his spine as their cold hand touched him.

Kaveh : no....."

Unknown person : no?"

Kaveh : I'm perfectly safe where I am. If all you want to do is help us. Then continue with that.....I can't go with you for multiple reasons....."

Unknown person : I see. as expected from someone like you. Very well. But there's only so much I can do I can't be everywhere at once...."

Kaveh felt the unknown person's grip on his chin tighten like he wasn't happy with his answer.

He didn't know who this man was all he felt towards them was uncertain and fear.

Unknown person : you know I liked you better that night very much more willing to do as I asked."

Kaveh : ......please go......"

He then let go and said.

Unknown person : you'll learn to trust me. Because despite what you might think I'm not a bad guy. At least not to you"

After this he left and Kaveh's baby suddenly stopped crying and Kaveh quickly ran off to find Al Haitham feeling uneasy.
