Leo's pov

Today is the day all of this bullshit ends once and for all. This rivalry has been going on for too damn long. In order for us to have a normal well maybe not normal, but a decent life especially for my son whom already has a hit on him. Santana must die. I made a promise to my heart and I intend in keeping it.

After dropping Madison and little Leo off, I had to make a quick goodbye which killed me. However, Esmeralda tried to escape which I had to rush to afterwards making sure that does not happen. I will not allow for my plan to fail. I could tell Madison didn't like our quickened goodbye, but she didn't say anything knowing how tough it is to manage everything all at once. Two of my men are by her side as we speak in charge of protecting them at all costs.

Being far away from them isn't a feeling I like to feel. I miss them a lot and even feel out of place not being near them. They truly keep me sane in this lifestyle. However, it's best this way for many reasons. I must keep focus and my head in the mafia game. If I don't, that's a mistake that can cause me my life.

"Everything is set," Rios firmly says as he steps into the living room prepared for what tonight is going to consist of.

"All arms count accordingly?," I ask as I exhale the smoke. "Everything is on point," he responds raising a brow disapprovingly. I crease my brows unsure about his odd behavior. "What was that for?"

"If only Madison could see you right now," Rios lets out a small chuckle causing one from me as well. "Well she isn't here, so why not take advantage," I reply remembering back to the time she made such a big deal about me doing my little activities in the house which I understood completely due to having our son now, so whenever I wanted to blaze a quick blunt I would just go outside.

However, what I learned with Madison about females is once they pick at something they will take it to the next level. Therefore, she made it her mission to educate me about how unhealthy smoking is and what it does to your body. I understand cigarettes and all that isn't good, but the argument that went on for so long was about weed. Madison had to join that group of those that swear it's a drug when in my opinion it isn't. For fucks sakes, it's an herb. Another thing, I have learned being married is that you just don't win against the female. It's better to just agree with her, so that you don't end up on the couch. So since then if I wanted to burn it, I just have to go outside.

"Let's get going. Everyone is at their positions ready for your orders," Rios steers the subject looking down at his watch. I nod in agreement knowing it is almost time for the war to begin. However, there's one last thing I must get out of the way before going into this battle.

"Get Diaz in here," Rios nods as he turns his heel leaving out of the room. As I wait, I take the time to finish off my blunt. The lord knows this is a well needed blunt for all the shit that is about to go down in a couple of hours.

My thought breaks away as I hear a light knock on the wall which causes me to turn around casually seeing Diaz standing by the door frame. He looks a bit worried, however, he masks it off with a blank expression just like how I taught him long ago.

"You wanted to see me?"

"What's your plans with Luna?," I flatly ask crossing my arms across my chest.

"The same ones you have with Madison boss," Diaz responds. Of course Diaz would respond this way. He has always been a jokester especially when he's feeling uncomfortable. "Damn it Diaz, don't pull that on me right now. I'm being serious."

"Me too"

"Diaz"

"Okay okay, I love her and my child. We're getting married as soon as she births my kid whether you approve or not with all do respect," Diaz firmly says.

A smirk appears on my face as I hear those words. I have always had respect over men that take matters into their own hands no matter what stands against them. My father taught me that. That's probably one of the very few things I did value growing up. "Good," I blankly say.

Diaz raises his brow confusedly before he says, "Good?"

My mind is telling me to say, "yes that I do approve," however, the words aren't coming out smoothly as I was hoped for. The more I rehearse it in my mind and even scream it, it just doesn't come out. "Do what you go to do."

"So that means you approve of us?"

"S-su... yea-," I start to cough pouring a bit of liquor into a glass gulping it down. Diaz stands with the most confused expression I have ever seen on him. I must look like a fool right now, so I take in a deep breathe then exhale it wanting to get this over with for the sake of Luna. I promised Madison I would fix this, so I know what I need to do.

"I approve Diaz. You're a good man and you make her happy. She's your problem now," I say walking towards him extending my hand out to him. A huge smile appears on his face as he shakes my hand responding, "thanks boss this means a lot to the both of us. Luna will be happy."

"But if you fuck up you already know," I sternly say giving him a hard pat on his back. Diaz stays silent nodding in agreement. "Let's go get shit done," I steer the subject giving him a small smile which he smiles to.

"That's what we do best."

Everyone is in their positions waiting for the arrival of Santana and his men. This place is entirely surrounded in case these fools try to get smart with us. Esmeralda, remains tied up sitting on a wooden chair by me. "They're here," East announces as he stares out of the window.  I turn to look at Rios signaling him to grab Esmeralda making her stand.

We hear doors open and close as footsteps follow until they enter through the door entrance. Santana's men all enter first until the one that boils my blood enters last. The expressions on their faces is priceless. Shock, disbelief, and fear runs through their souls. Their blood draining out of their systems making them look pale especially Santana. He really thought he killed me.

Son of a bitch.

"Y-you-"

"It takes a lot more than that to get rid of me," I flatly say throwing the most hateful glare I possibly can. The sight of him is angering me so damn much especially knowing that he wants to hurt my innocent child.

"It all makes sense now," he mutters glaring at me with the same hatred I have for him. "Esme," one of Santana's men breathes which I assume is the beloved husband named Lozano. "What kind of man involves his wife into this mess?," I shake my head teasingly purposely wanting to get under his skin which works wonderfully. Lozano clenches his jaw wanting to launch at me. However, the other men hold him back.

"So I assume this is where you think you're going to kill me?," Santana utters observing the entire place causally. Too casually if you ask me.

I stay silent angrily glaring at him so much hatred consuming my entire soul. I want to rip him apart remembering what Madison told me. The image of him placing his lips on my wife once again is too much for me to bear. For years it has been getting even with one another, but now him coming after my family now that's crossing the line.

A line that I will make known to every mafia out there to never cross.

As much as I want to get bullets firing, I can't. This must be played out right. "Whether you believe it or not, no. On the other hand, I want to make peace," I say.

I watch as Santana thinks for a minute about what I am proposing before he speaks, "You expect me to believe after all these years of rivalry considering of course our history way before we came into power that you simply want to make peace with me?," he raises a brow observingly.

"It's all gotta end at some point," I simply say throwing a quick and slow glance at Montoya whom stands near the doorway. Santana lets out a low chuckle before he responds, "You're absolutely right Castillo. It does gotta end at some point after all. That's why I took it upon myself to follow that jet of yours."

As soon as those words slip out of his lips. My entire world goes mute everything around me becoming a blur. The very thing I didn't want to happen has just blew up in my face, but how did he find out? There's no way he could of known.

I find myself lurching forward ready to put hands on him. However, Diaz holds me back shaking his head disapprovingly. "Call," I firmly order to Diaz clenching my jaw while glaring at Santana. That mischievous smirk that's plastered on his face is enough to make me cringe.

Diaz does as I instructed. After a good few rings the call is forwarded to voicemail making my heart drop down to my stomach.
"Is this what you're looking for?," Santana sarcastically says showing me his phone.

What I see next has me gritting my teeth. Tears from pure anger threateningly wanting to spill out as I clench my fists. In the live footage it shows Madison unconscious on a bed as our baby is inside a box near her wailing. I let out an angry scream losing my shit completely. I abruptly grab Esmeralda yanking her from Rios's grip aiming my gun against her temple.

"No!," Lozano shouts frighteningly as he aims his gun at me. This causes everyone to aim at one another. The plan I had originally planned for tonight went completely south. Santana having Madison and little Leo under his control changes everything.

"How?," I seethe through my teeth wanting to know how he found out about the jet that carried my family inside. Santana lets out a small chuckle, a taunting one at that before he signals one of his men to make a quick call which he does.

"Come in," one of his men says into his phone.

"Thanks to this beauty of a volunteer, I didn't have to even try to look hard for what I wanted," Santana causally says.

Suddenly, heels are heard tapping against the concrete entering the premises which some of my men immediately aim their guns towards this unknown individual. A brunette, obsidian eyed female comes into view as she smirks at all of us. I scrunch my brows having absolutely no clue on who this female is nor how she's associated with this situation.

"Introduce yourself madam," Santana says as she steps beside him crossing her arms across her chest.

"Hello mobsters," she says as she bites down on her red bottom lip while looking at me up and down, "I'm Ruby, Rossi's little sister."
