Chapter 18 "Dangerous Attraction"
I flutter my eyes open rubbing them to fully awaken. I notice I'm on a bed in a ivory colored room. I furrow my brows confused. The last time I remember I was still in Leo's jet. To be honest, I have no idea how I even knocked out. Leo must of carried me all the way into the hotel and tucked me in.
"Get ready," Leo suddenly says stepping out of the restroom. He's completely dressed up in a suit ready to be out and about.
"What time is it?," I yawn still feeling sleepy.
"Noon."
"Damn," I mutter getting off of the bed trudging towards the restroom to get ready for whatever Leo has planned to do today.

After a few errands, I had to accompany Leo. We're now outside of a night club near the beautiful beach. It's now nighttime and all of the beautiful lights are flashing in every building looking so spectacular. The blues, purples, pinks, aquas, and reds all compliment each other very well. Definitely, presenting Miami for what it's known for.
"How long are we going to have to be here for?," I grumpily say not at all wanting to be here. Like why does every damn business meeting have to be in some type of club?
"The meeting will only take an hour, but we will be partying it up until the club closes," Leo smirks trying to cuff my cheek. I pull away, his hand staying up in the air. Leo scrunches his brows together pissed. The entire day, he's been nonstop trying to flirt with me, which I gladly shut down every time.
"You want nothing to do with me anymore Madison?," Leo huffs as we start walking towards the entrance.
"No I don't. Whatever happened between us before was mistakes I'll fully take the blame for," I bluntly respond not bothering to glance at Leo.
"Was it because I chocked you?," he murmurs looking a bit pained. I come to a halt not believing what I'm hearing right now. After all the crap he's done. He's really going to point out only one major thing? As if the rest of the crap wasn't no big deal.
"Everything. All of the torment and violence," I grumble.
"I-"
"Not that it matters to you and I honestly don't give a shit about it. Let's get this over with and please drop me off at the hotel after the meeting. You can party by yourself. I'm sure you can pull a pussycat to accompany you," I blankly say cutting him off heading inside the club not waiting on Leo.
The club is crowded, music playing out loud, various colored lights flashing making the whole experience so much cooler. I glance around seeing everyone so utterly happy enjoying their lives. I roll my eyes envious of them all wishing I was them right now. Instead here I am a prisoner of my own life under the control of Leo Castillo, the handsome sophisticated man I met at my job. Who would of known that the same man is such a psycho murderer. If I would of known this or anyone would of warned me. I would of never ever agreed to go with him to the club, which is what got me where I am today.
"Go have a drink while I deal," Leo says in my ear. I don't even take a second to think about his offer. I just nod leaving towards the bar. I decide to order a bottle chugging it down along with my misery.
After a good drink of the strong liquid. I'm completely drunk swaying my hips right to left getting lost in the music and having some fun with some friends I made on the dance floor. Forgetting all of my problems. I feel such happiness running throughout my body feeling like a regular young adult like the rest that are here partying it up. I sing along with the lyrics, chant, and laugh while dancing the night away. After a while, I start to feel too drunk bumping into someone's hard chest.
"I'm sorry," I slur my emerald green eyes locking with some unknown hazel eyes belonging to a man around my age or older.
"It's okay beautiful. What's your name?," he slurs.
"Bye," Leo's deep husky voice utters into the conversation grabbing my arm pulling me back to follow him out of the club. The entire time, I tried to swat his grip on me, but it's as if it didn't even hurt him one bit.
"You're such a fun sucker," I grumble finally freeing my arm from his grip as we step outside of the club.
"I'm taking you back to the hotel just like you asked me to do," he mutters. Leo's limo arrives and without him ordering for me to get inside. I rush into it before he could say anything.

"Madison, wake up," I feel someone shoving me softly. My eyes start to flutter open feeling everything around me swirl like a tornado.
"Damn," I huff.
"You drank too much didn't you?," Leo raises a brow. I ignore him getting out of the limo waddling towards the hotel. Nausea quickly presents itself and the next thing I know. I start vomiting my guts out. Leo rushes to me and holds my hair back while rubbing my back comforting me.
"Don't worry I'm here," he profoundly says as I finish throwing up the last of whatever is left in my stomach.
"Get away from me," I mutter pushing Leo away wiping my mouth taking my heels off walking inside the hotel. No matter how drunk I am right now. I can still see the huge personality change in how Leo is acting right now. This is the same guy I met at Agenda. I shake my head in annoyance already knowing he must want something in return that's why he's acting all nice to me right now. I rush into the elevator warily watching Leo step inside pressing the level our room is on. He's furious, but I don't care I just lean my head on the elevator wall wanting to just throw myself on the bed and sleep this drunkenness off.
"I'm so tired of this bullshit treatment," Leo grumbles. I roll my eyes not bothering to acknowledge his remark.
"I'm talking to you," he scolds making me jump from the sudden raise of his tone.
"Leave me alone Leo. Just leave me alone," I spat irritated. Suddenly, Leo slams me against the elevator wall pinning me against it by his hands on mine above my head. Our faces inches away from one another. My eyes look down to his lips, which he licks then I avert meeting his gaze.
"I will never leave you alone Madison," he murmurs.
"Why me? I don't deserve any of this," my voice cracks no longer being able to hold onto this tough attitude act. I'm not sure if it was the alcohol or just a breaking point. All I know is that, I'm back to being the cry baby.
"Madison, you drive me crazy. What are you doing to me?," he sighs leaning his face down on the crook of my neck. My body tenses feeling tingles all over the place. Every time his hot breathe touches my skin it makes me want to squirm.
"I'm not doing anything," I murmur.
"I shouldn't be saying this to you, but you're making me feel feelings. I shouldn't be feeling," Leo rhetorically says locking eyes with mine once again. As I stare into his chocolate brown eyes. Something shocks me. In his eyes, I can tell he's serious about his words. So much truth is behind his eyes right now. His words keep replaying in my mind immensely. Jumbled by it all, I decide to question further what he exactly means.
"Feelings? What exactly do you feel Leo?," I mumble. Hopefully, it isn't madness or hate to the point he's having ideas to end my life because if it's that. I need to get the heck out of here. Leo stays quiet gazing at me. I can tell he's fighting with himself by how he keeps taking deep breathes every minute. He looks so nervous, which has me completely baffled. Out of a natural instinct, I slide my hand down from his grip then lift it up placing my hand softly on his cheek. As soon as I did this he flinches and a frightening emotion crosses his eyes.
Why did he get so scared?
"It's okay," I whisper. Instantly, it's as if hearing the reassurance of my words made him calm down immediately. He then closes his eyes placing his large hand on top of mine leaning his face onto my palm.
"I-I'm sorry for everything," Leo huffs rubbing his thump in circular motions on my hand. My eyes widen, not expecting this from Leo Castillo. Never in a million years would I expect an apology from this man. From what I'm aware of he isn't an apologetic type of person. I can't believe I'm right in front of him in this small elevator being most likely the first soul he's ever apologized to.
"Le-"
"I'm so sorry babe, for kidnaping you, the slaps, torments, for yanking that gorgeous hair of yours, and for killing your friend... I'm fucking sorry. Not a day passes by that I don't regret choking you. I didn't mean to do any of that it's just the temper," he solemnly says opening his eyes revealing brimming chocolate brown eyes. If my eyes weren't already out of their sockets. I'm sure right now they're almost hanging ready to fall down to the ground from how stunned I am. I blink a few times making sure this isn't a dream from my drunkenness, which it's not since every time I open my eyelids. Leo is still staring at me.
"Did you just call me babe?," is all that slips out of my mouth. Stunned, is all I feel right now. I always called Leo a monster, but right now in this very moment, he's far from that. He's a human admitting all his wrongs.
"Yes, I'm going crazy without you. I need you Madison," he huskily says lurching himself closer to me.
His hand cuffs my chin slowly leaning his smooth lips against mine. However, I pull back a bit not sure about what to do. Many times before, I always let myself fall helplessly to his charm, and I gave him every right to feel that he owns me by doing that. Which I hated myself for doing.
But, right now everything is so different from all of those other times. This time it's genuine and pure in some weird twisted way. So I proceed by placing my lips completely on his getting lost in this dangerous attraction, I can't deny I have for him.
