•°³¹°•Saturday Nights -✵───────
Saturday nights were always busy at The Red Deer, the best and only club around the area Taehyung lived in. The other nightclubs were further away, therefore Taehyung and his friends liked going to that particular club. Besides, it wasn't too crowded with nasty guys like the other clubs Taehyung used to go to in his high school days with his fake ID. It was only the locals who came about The Red Deer.
Besides, Hoseok's father worked there so they can enter without the ID and get free drinks.
Taehyung didn't want to go there. However, the others insisted he come along, as he hadn't been doing well recently. Especially after the things happened with Jeongguk and after moving out. It had been over five days and there was no news from Jeongguk. Not that he checked.
He figured Jeongguk had moved on from him. Maybe there was nothing for him to move on from. Taehyung and he were only having a temporary relationship solely based on sex and pleasure. It was nothing more, nothing less. The relationship shouldn't have existed in the first place.
Even though Jeongguk did say he missed Taehyung the last day they met, Taehyung doubted it. Why would he miss him? Maybe in Jeongguk's language I miss you meant I miss fucking you.
Taehyung, on the other hand, didn't know why he was feeling what he was feeling. Every time he looked at his phone to see if Jeongguk had called him or even left a text to check up on him, disappointment washed over him upon not seeing a single notification from him. Jeongguk hadn't contacted him for five whole days. And he felt like something was missing in his life. Something huge.
And it hurt. He knew it shouldn't hurt but it did. And he hated that he missed the man who had treated him like shit.
Every morning he woke up feeling the need to be with Jeongguk. Disappointment and sorrow washed over him upon realizing he'd never be able to be with Jeongguk again. He would never see Jeongguk at breakfast again, scrolling through his phone, drinking his glass of milk. He'd never see him smiling at Taehyung with that sweet and soft and gentle smile, holding a million secrets that he and Taehyung only shared. His eyes would crinkle at the edges, making him look a bit old and young at the same time, as he follows Taehyung's figure approaching the table. Taehyung would always smile back at him, lips tight and secretive, thinking about the things they did behind closed doors the pervious night.
He had a hard time restraining the need to kiss Jeongguk the first thing in the morning. Taehyung was sure Jeongguk felt the same.
He missed their little dates. He missed holding hands in the park near the cute coffee shop. He missed seeing the way Jeongguk's eyes would narrow as he thought hard what drink he was going to order that day, as he was on a voyage of discovery to try all the drinks in the menu. It was the same drink for Taehyung everyday: hot chocolate with marshmallows and whip cream.
Jeongguk had been extremely enthusiastic about going on dates with Taehyung. Even for Taehyung, the dates felt like they were extremely intimate, and not in a physical way. Sometimes Jeongguk would push Taehyung against a tree at the back of the park, hidden from the direct view, and kiss him until his knees go weak.
He missed how Jeongguk sometimes took care of Taehyung. Not only in bed. Jeongguk made him feel loved. At least when they were alone. Taehyung didn't have anything against his family. But Jeongguk just made him feel some type of way. Some way that butterflies erupted in his stomach every time they spent time with each other.
He fucking missed Jeongguk.
Taehyung guessed the saying 'Right person, wrong timing' was actually real. He felt it an astronomical level.
He kept thinking about it...how he missed Jeongguk but would never get to date him. And it hurt him so much. He kept thinking about how right it felt to be with him, despite him treating Taehyung like his toy. He kept thinking about how nice it would be to date Jeongguk. To not hide behind closed doors and school offices. How badly he wanted to date Jeongguk. In a non-secretive way, out in the open.
It did only take a few days for Taehyung to come to the major euphoria that he had feelings for Jeongguk.
It ad hit him like a truck. He didn't think he'd be capable of growing such feelings. But Jeongguk was very...lovable. Easy to fall in love with.
He had stayed at Jimin's for almost a week and he had been fortunate to not get caught by the landlady. Apparently, she was out of town for a few days. Since Jimin spent most of his nights in Namjoon's room, Taehyung had the small bed all to himself.
Regardless of his friends' attempts to cheer Taehyung up, he'd always felt like shit. The others had already figured out about his feelings for Jeongguk. But they didn't tell anything about it. Taehyung remembered how Namjoon told him not to catch feelings for Jeongguk in the earlier days and Taehyung had been so sure that he wouldn't.
Nevertheless, even now, after realizing that he had fallen for a man who can never be his, it felt unreal. He had never been in love. He had never dated anyone. And all of this was so new to him, all these feelings were alien, that he didn't know what to do with himself and he's making a whole mess.
His friends' solution was to go clubbing. And drink it all away. Or to get fucked, literally.
Taehyung wasn't particularly planning on getting fucked by a stranger. He just wanted Jeongguk. But getting drunk sounded like a plan to him.
So here he was, amidst the crowd of different ages and genders in The Red Deer. The smell of sweat and smoke was heavy in the air and bright lights cut through the darkness inside the club, igniting everyone. A few cups of beers later Taehyung's ready to move with the music, hands in the air, body moving like an uncoiling rope, eyes on fire. The joy was like a shot of adrenaline to the heart and all at once, he's moving, one with the music, and one with every crazy person dancing in that place.
The music was like electricity in his veins and his heart thumped with adrenaline, synchronizing with the beat of the music. He swayed his hips and danced as if no one was watching. And no one cared in there. Everyone was high, drunk, or both and dancing like no tomorrow, pushing their problems to the back of reality while they rode a temporary euphoria.
Then, amidst the sweat, smoke, the beats, and the drunkenness, mischievous eyes, raven black hair and pale skin. Watching Taehyung eagerly. Taehyung stilled.
Jeongguk?
Taehyung rubbed his eyes, unable to believe what he was seeing. He was drunk. Jeongguk couldn't be here, right?
Right.
It was someone else. Not Jeongguk, Taehyung realized after a couple of seconds. But the man continued to stare at Taehyung. Taehyung continued to dance, not giving two shits about the guy. Taehyung isn't unfamiliar with being stared at. He was much used to it. In fact, he used to like the attention. But now, he didn't feel the same way. He just didn't care.
He remembered how almost four months ago he came to this club thinking he'd start a new life when college starts. Then he had met Jeongguk, in this same club. He thought he'd be unfazed by men who only wanted something from him and not a relationship. However, the moment he saw Jeongguk at the pub just a few blocks away, he wasn't so sure he could stick to his principles anymore. And Taehyung's predictions only proved to be true when Jeongguk followed him to the club and approached him. And just like that, he was throwing all his principles and promises he had made to himself out of the window. The attraction to Jeongguk had been like a magnetic pull. He had no strength to pull himself away.
The man that looked a little like Jeongguk was closer to Taehyung now. He barely looked like Jeongguk, Taehyung thought then. Comparable. But it's just the hair and the pale skin. But the man was handsome, no doubt.
A few minutes later, after Taehyung decided to ignore the man who stared at him as if he wanted to consume him for dinner, Taehyung felt hands on his waist.
"Hello beautiful"
Taehyung jerked away from the touch, turning around to see who was intruding his personal space.
It was the man who was staring at him earlier. Now that he was closer, Taehyung could see something familiar with the way he looked.
"Jeongguk?" Taehyung whispered.
"What?" The man said. He was young.
"You're not Jeongguk" Taehyung whispered. The man narrowed his eyes, obviously not hearing a word Taehyung was saying because of the loudness of the music.
"Taehyung what the fuck it's me"
"Huh?" Who?
"I'm William! Can't you remember? I invited you to my party a few months ago!"
"Holy shit William!" It was as if a light bulb lit over Taehyung's head. No wonder he looked familiar. Was Taehyung that drunk?
William laughed. "You're drunk"
"No shit" Taehyung said.
"You look dazzling" William said, smirking. "But long time no see!"
"Yeah" Taehyung said, grinning. He could see Jimin and the other a little away from him, watching him. Jimin gave him a thumbs up. Taehyung glared at him before turning to look at William.
"Can I buy you a drink?" William asked.
"Sure"
Taehyung didn't think really he'd end up in a cheap motel an hour or a half later, moaning under William as he pounded into Taehyung.
"Fuck" Taehyung cursed. He needed more. He needed it rougher. Faster. He wanted it to be like Jeongguk. William was being too gentle.
William grunted above him, his hair falling into his eyes and forehead covered in sweat. He looked too much like Jeongguk. But not equally as handsome. However, something about him reminded Taehyung of his past lover.
He only agreed to hook up with William because he thought having sex with someone other than Jeongguk would help his get over his past lover. But even when William was on top of him, his dick sliding in and out of Taehyung's tight hole as they both moaned in pleasure, all Taehyung could think of was Jeongguk.
A tear escaped Taehyung.
Taehyung felt the speed falter, which made him open his eyes.
"Are you okay?" William asked.
"Yes" Taehyung said, annoyed. "Stop being a pussy and keep going! Faster"
"Fuck okay. I thought you were hurt" William said and started fucking Taehyung again.
I am
"Jeongguk!" Taehyung whispered as he felt his climax approaching. He hoped to god William would not hear it. He most probably didn't, being too focused on reaching his own euphoria.
When he finally came, it took too long. With Jeongguk, it had always been within minutes. When he bid a small goodbye William and went back to the club, he found the place to be still crowded, even though it was almost 2 a.m. He saw Jimin and Namjoon making out in a chair and Hoseok flirting with a girl while Yoongi drank some whiskey.
Taehyung made his way to Yoongi and ordered himself a drink. He was slowly getting sober and he could not risk getting sober. Especially after what happened.
"How'd it go?" Yoongi asked.
Taehyung shrugged. "Fine"
"I feel like you'd need something stronger than that beer" Yoongi said.
Taehyung nodded. He felt like shit. And it hurt because all he could think of was Jeongguk. He came here to forget Jeongguk but now he missed Jeongguk more than ever. Everything he did with William felt as if it happened better with Jeongguk. Jeongguk was better. No one could make him feel the way Jeongguk did.
Yoongi offered him a drink that had a green liquid. "The fuck is this?"
"It's the special blend, sir. The strongest I can offer you" The bartender, an older man said.
"Oh thanks" Taehyung said and gulped it down. The bittersweet liquid burned down his throat.
"Fuck" he gasped.
Yoongi laughed. "Good, huh?"
Taehyung nodded. Within minutes, he was drunk again. Chatting with Yoongi about how much he missed Jeongguk didn't help at all. It made him miss him even more.
"I need to take a piss" Taehyung said tiredly, standing up wobbly. Yoongi caught him before he fell face flat on the floor.
"Dude you can't even stand up" Yoongi said, holding onto him.
"I can stand! Let me go!" Taehyung said, his drunken state slurring his words together.
Yoongi sighed and let him go. Taehyung managed to go to the bathroom, only to find a queue. A fucking queue to get in the men's bathroom. How can there even be a queue? Does the place only have one cubicle or something? Taehyung sighed exasperatedly and leaned against the wall next to an old man with white hair. Upon seeing a couple of people in front of him in the line, he fished out his phone since it would take some time anyway.
There weren't phone calls or text messages from Jeongguk. As expected.
He went to his call log. He doesn't get many calls. When he does, it's either from Jimin or Jeongguk or his mother. Rarely from others.
"Fuck you" Taehyung whispered to himself as he scrolled down his call log. Taehyung found it filled with calls from Jeongguk, aging back to months and months. But none that week.
His heart ached upon seeing it. He wanted to hear his voice so badly. He needed it.
"Fuck it" Taehyung whispered as he slid his thumb over Jeongguk's number, dialing up his number.
-
Jeongguk's phone started ringing from the bedside table. Jeongguk groaned as he sleepily sat up from the bed. He blindly reached for his phone, eyes only half-open and still half-asleep. He rubbed his eyes after picking up his phone, trying to see the call ID.
Tae
Jeongguk's heartbeat sped up, and in moments, he was fully awake. It was two in the fucking morning. Why the hell is Taehyung calling him at this hour? Jeongguk looked behind him. His wife was fast asleep.
Jeongguk got up from the bed and went outside the room, closing the door behind him before he picked up the call.
"Hello?" Jeongguk said, keeping his voice down. "Taehyung what's wro-"
"Jeonggukkie" a slurred deep voice.
Jeongguk was at a loss of words. What's wrong with Taehyung?
"Tae? Are you alright?"
Taehyung laughed. "Am I alright?" more laughter. "The audacity of this married man" Another chuckle.
"What..." Jeongguk was confused. "Are you drunk?"
There was more laughter coming from the other side of the line. Jeongguk could hear music and chatter Was Taehyung in a club? At this time?
"Yes!" Taehyung said enthusiastically. "And I'm fucking wasted! Had to drink away all my sadness you know?"
"Taehyung..."
"Not that you'd care, right? Do you fuck your wife every night now that I'm gone? Does she make you hard now?" Taehyung laughed.
Jeongguk sighed, exasperated.
"Or do you still think of me to get hard?"
"Taehyung I didn't sleep with her at all" Jeongguk said, massaging his temples.
"Aww" Taehyung said. "Aren't you adorable? But go ahead. You can make more babies! You don't need to think about me or how sad I am...because you're probably glad now that I'm out of the way, right? Or do you still want to use me as your toy?"
"Taehyung I never-"
"I don't care. Not like you cared about me either..."
"I care about you!" Jeongguk said, a little too loudly. He was fucking angry. How could Taehyung think about him this way?
"You're funny" a small chuckle.
"Taehyung where are you?" Jeongguk asked impatiently.
"Why? What are you going to do? Pick me up and take me over to your house so you can fuck me while your daughter and wife are sleeping? To use me again and throw me away when you feel like it?"
"What the fuck is wron-"
"I slept with someone"
Jeongguk's eyes widened. He felt his heart drop at the words.
"He looked just like you" Taehyung said, words slurred. "It wasn't bad, you know"
Jeongguk was at a loss of words.
"Reminded me a lot about you. Even when he was fucking me I was thinking about you"
Jeongguk gulped. His heart was already aching from the previous words of Taehyung about Jeongguk using him. But now, he was devastated. He gritted his teeth from anger as jealousy burned through his veins. He shouldn't be feeling this way. He shouldn't give a shit about who Taehyung sleeps with. Not now. Not ever. They weren't even in a relationship. Whatever they had, it was over. And he was going to be a father again. He had promised himself to become a proper father to the unborn child.
However, the last few days, Jeongguk hadn't been doing well. He could barely concentrate on his work. His heart was heavy all the time.
He just missed Taehyung so much. The breakfast table was empty without him. The morning conversations were bland without him. He missed the secretive smiles and touches. Life was monochrome without his presence in Jeongguk's world.
Taehyung had made him feel things he had never felt before. He introduced him to a world he had never seen. He wouldn't have been able to experience any of it without him. Taehyung brought colour to his skies.
Taehyung was the light to his darkness; the moon to his night sky; and without him, his days were gloomy.
Jeongguk didn't think he'd feel this loss so much. He thought he'd stop feeling empty after a few days but it's almost been a week and with every passing second, the need to be with Taehyung only grew. And Jeongguk realized that he was missing more than his body; the sex. He missed Taehyung's whole presence in his life.
The only reason he didn't call Taehyung was he was afraid he'd disturb his life. He wanted Taehyung to start a life without him. Taehyung deserved more than a man that could never be with him; someone who wouldn't have time or space for him in his life. He wanted Taehyung to get over him.
But now...Jeongguk was burning with anger. His feelings were not fair. But the idea of someone else touching Taehyung...his Taehyung...?
He knew it was ridiculous. Taehyung isn't his. Jeongguk was married for fuck's sake! But...
"Where are you?" Jeongguk said with gritted teeth.
"Why? Is professor going to pick me up? Go back to your wife, sir. She probably misses your love"
"Shut the fuck up and tell me where the fuck you are" Jeongguk shouted.
"Oh my god chill. I'm at the place where you decided you want to risk your marital life to fuck me just for once. Remember? You were such a flirt, trying to lure me into your cobweb" Taehyung chuckled.
"Stay there. I'm coming"
"W-what? No! Don't!"
"God knows what else you'd do! Stay there. Be safe! Don't drink anymore!" With that said, Jeongguk cut the line.
He rushed into his bedroom and put some clothes on hurriedly.
"Where are you going?" it was Jieun, having just woken up from her sleep.
"Out"
Jeongguk ran out of his house, started the car and drove off to The Red Deer.
