Next day.

Preeta, Shrishi and Ayaan reach the college. Preeta sees Karan walking, lost in his world and smirks. Ayaan notices this and tries to stop Preeta.

Ayaan: Di!!

Preeta looks towards him.

Preeta: Kya hua, Ayu??

Ayaan: Ah...di...woh...

He looks at Shrishi, pleading for help, through his eyes. Shrishti understands.

Shrishti: Di!! Woh Ayu apni class ke directions bhul gaya!!

Ayaan glares at Shrishti. Preeta laughs.

Preeta: Bas itni si baat!! Shrishti tu leja na phir usse...

Ayaan and Shrishti are shocked.

Shrishti: Ah...di meri class hai mujhe jaana hoga, bye!!

She runs away from there, leaving Preeta confused.

Ayaan: Di aap chalo na mere saath...

He tries to take Preeta away from Karan. Preeta sees Kritika coming and calls her.

Preeta: Kritika, tum aur Ayaan ek hi class mein ho na!! Toh tum usse le jao...

Kritika glares at Ayaan but nods, while Preeta leaves. Ayaan glares at Kritika.

Kritika: Sirf di ne kaha hai isliye!! I still hate you!!

Ayaan: I hate you too!!

They both go to their class.

Meanwhile.

Preeta comes towards Karan and taps his shoulder. Karan turns behind, but doesn't find anyone. He is about to walk ahead but falls in the mud.

Karan (angry): What the...

He is about to say ahead but stops hearing Preeta laugh. He smiles seeing her.

Preeta (smirks): Tumhari aukat tumhe samajh mein aa hi gayi hogi na!!

Karan looks down, sad. Preeta leaves from there. Karan removes his shoes as they are now wet and walks to an empty classroom barefeet, on the hot, scorching tiles. He winces in pain but manages to reach the classroom. He sits on a bench and looks at his feet which were red. A tear escapes his eyes, which is caught by Preeta.

Preeta (looking at the tear drop on her finger): Tch tch tch...yeh aasu...bohot dard hua hoga na...

Karan smiles and nods in no. Preeta throws boiling water on his feet and he shrieks in pain.

Preeta (smirking): Toh ab hoga!!

She leaves. Karan wipes his feet and somehow puts his shoes on. Rishabh sees all this and has had enough of it. He goes behind Preeta and harshly pulls her. He pins her to the wall and angrily looks in her eyes.

Preeta (angry): Kya hai!! Chodo mujhe!!

Rishabh: Tum mere bhai ko chodo!!

Preeta pushes him.

Preeta (pointing her finger at him): Dur raho mujhse!!

Rishabh: Tum mere bhai se dur raho!! Agar usse ek kharoch aur aayi na toh mein...

Preeta: Tum kya ha!! Kya kar loge!!!

Rishabh is about to slap her, but he gets slapped by someone.

Rishabh (holding his cheek): Karan...

He is revealed to be Karan.

Karan (with bloodshot eyes): Galti se bhi yeh galti karne ki galti mat karna, Rishabh Luthra!!

He comes between Preeta and Rishabh. Rishabh glares at him.

Rishabh: Karan tu, iss ladki ke liye...

Karan: Oh just shut up!!

Rishabh (shouts): Karan!!

Karan (shouts): Awaaz niche Rishabh Luthra!! Nahi toh chillana mujhe bhi aata hai!!

A crowd starts gathering around them.

Karan: Ainda Preeta ke aas paas bhi mat dikhna!!

Rishabh (glaring at Preeta): Yeh sab tumhari wajah se ho raha hai!! Agar tum iss duniya mein nahi hoti...

Before he could complete his sentence he receives a punch on his face by Karan.

Karan: Teri himmat kaise huyi!!

They both start to fight. Shrishti and Sameer too come there. They try to stop the fight, while Preeta sends the crowd away. Preeta looks at Karan and Rishabh fighting and turns to leave. Just then Karan falls on the ground and screams. Preeta stops. She clenches her fist and controls her tears. She turns around to see Karan lying down, semi conscious and blood oozing out of his forehead. She goes towards him. Shrishti thinks that she might hurt Karan and tries to stop her.

Shrishti: Di...

Preeta (interrupts): Sammy, mere saath Karan ko hospital wing mein le chalo aur Shrishti tu Rishabh ki madat kar de!!

Saying this she leaves along with Karan and Sameer. Karan smiles seeing her and faints.

In the hospital wing.

Preeta and Sameer make Karan lie on the bed. Preeta caresses his hairs, controlling her tears. Sameer smiles seeing her.

Preeta: Sammy nurse...

Sameer: Di aaj thursday hai...college ki nurses ki chutti hoti hai...

Preeta: Thik hai...tum jaake Shrishti ko dekh lo, kahi woh kisi ka khoon na karde!!

Sameer laughs and leaves. Tears fall from Preeta's eyes. She takes the first aid box and gently cleans his wounds (his legs and his forehead). She feels guilty of hurting him but her anger takes over. She kisses his forehead and a tear drop falls on Karan's eyes. He slowly wakes up. She is about to wipe her tears but he wipes it instead and smiles.

Meanwhile.

Shrishti helps Rishabh to the other hospital wing. She pushes Rishabh on the bed, who glares at her.

Rishabh: You...

Shrishti: Just shut up!! Yeh sab jo bhi ho raha hai, aap ki wajah se ho raha hai!! Agar aap di se pyaar nahi karte the toh yeh naatak karne ki kya zaroorat thi!! Aap ki wajah se aap ke bhai ki yeh haalat hai!! (on the verge of crying) Meri di jo ek makhi ko bhi chot na pohchana chahe, aaj woh...woh...

She bursts into tears. Just then Sameer comes there and hugs her. Rishabh feels guilty.

Rishabh (softly): I am sorry...

Sameer (sternly): Aap ko sorry kisi aur se bolna chahiye!!

He and Shrishti go out.

Preeran's side.

Karan: Kya hua babydoll??

Preeta: Zyaada khush mat hona...mein tumhare liye nahi ro rahi thi, woh toh bas aankhon mein kuch chala gaya tha!!

Karan chuckles. He tries to get up but falls down. He sees Preeta glaring at him and gives up his efforts to get up.

Flashback.

Preeta is sitting on a bench in an empty classroom and crying, while Karan is sitting on his knees, holding her leg.

Karan: Babydoll, bohot dard ho raha hai??

Preeta (crying): Nahi Karan bilkul bhi nahi...

Karan chuckles at her cute antics.

Karan: Achcha ab mein tumhara pair zor se modunga, chillana mat!!

Preeta (cutely): Par agar dard hua toh??

He smiles and cups her face.

Karan: Toh mujhe zor se hug kar lena...

Preeta: Rishabh bura maan jayega...

Karan feels bad and removes his hand from her face. He takes a deep breath and looks in her eyes, angrily.

Karan (angry): I hate you Preeta Arora!!

Preeta gets shocked. She sits numb. Taking the opportunity, Karan twists her leg. She doesn't scream. Infact she doesn't even feel any pain. He feels guilty and hugs her tightly. She breaks down in his arms. She cutely starts hitting him.

Preeta (crying): Bajarbattu, tumhari itni himmat!! Tum mujhe The Preeta Arora ko I hate you bologe!!

Karan (smiles): I am sorry, bas tumhara dhyaan bhatkaane ke liye...

Preeta: Toh kuch aur bhi toh bol sakte the na...

Karan: I am sorry babydoll...

She doesn't let him break the hug. She feels so comfortable there. She stops crying and breaks the hug.

Karan: Chale??

She nods, smiling and they leave.

Flashback ends.

Preeta and Karan are lost in each other when Shrishmeer enter. They look at Preeran and smile. Shrishti holds Sameer's hand and smiles. He tightens his grip on her hand. Preeta comes back to her senses.

Preeta (avoiding eye contact): Chale??

Karan (still looking at her): Hmmm...

They all leave.
