Continued...

Kareena is forcing Preeta out of the house and everybody is trying to stop her. Just when she is about to throw her out of the house, someone turns her and slaps her. Everybody is shocked to see him.

Rakhi (murmurs): Mahesh ji......

K.daadi (murmurs): Mahesh puttar...

Everybody is happy to see him. Rakhi is about to hug him, but he stops her.

Mahesh (weakly): Kareena, kamse kam ek baar toh iss bichari ki baat sunn leti...

Preeta (emotional): Papa...

Mahesh opens his arms and she hugs him.

Preeta (breaks down): Papa...aapko pata hai meine aapko kitna miss kiya...uss din jab aap mere ghar par aaye the, tab mujhe laga tha ki sab thik ho jaayega...meine aapko promise kiya tha...aur mein apna promise pura nahi kar payi...I am so sorry...

Mahesh (holding her): Nahi, beta, tumne apni taraf se puri koshish ki...ab mein aa gaya hu na...papa kehti hai na mujhe, toh mein apni beti ko uska hak dilwakar hi rahunga...

Meanwhile, Sherlyn just wishes that the earth swallows her up, because now that Mahesh is here, she will not be able to escape.

Mahesh recognizes the kidnapper, who is the same one whom he had threatened.

Mahesh: Haan toh kidnapper ji, aap kya keh rahe the( going near him)...??

Kidnapper (scared remembering him): Woh... mein...woh...yeh...Preeta ji bilkul sahi keh rahi thi...Sherlyn madam ne hi kidnapping karwayi thi...

Everybody is shocked.

Mahesh: Kareena, ab kuch nahi kehna tumhe?? Ab nahi kahogi kuch??? Sherlyn se!!!

Karan (confused): Dad....??

Rishabh: Dad aap yeh kya bol rahe hai??

Mahesh: Mein samjhata hu...

He tells everybody what had happened just before his accident and how he had come to know about Sherlyn and Prithvi, how then he had gone to Preeta's house to assure her that he is with her and how while coming back Sherlyn and Prithvi had caused his accident.

Everybody is shocked, specially Kareena.

He then calls the police to hand them over.

Kareena is not able to take any of this and breaks down. Preeta handles her.

Kareena: I am sorry, Preeta...I am sorry...

Preeta: Nahi, Kareena bua, aapki koi galti nahi hai...

They hug each other and everybody smiles.

Just then Sherlyn picks up a knife from the fruit basket and is about to stab Karan, when someone holds her hand.

Preeta (angry): Mere parivaar ko haath laga ke toh dekho...haath tod dungi...(twisting her hand)...khabardaar jo tumne mere Karan ko haath lagaya toh...mein bhul jaungi ki tum bhi ek aurat ho!!!

Karan smiles hearing this. And she pushes her on the sofa. Karan pushes Prithvi too on the sofa and Karan and Preeta hold hands, unknowingly. While everybody is happy seeing them.

Karan: Ab jaldi se yeh bhi bata do ki tum dono aisa kyun kiya tha!!??

Prithvi: Kyun ki tere iss bhai ne (pointing towards Rishabh), mujhe jail pohchaya tha...

Everybody is shocked and they look towards Rishabh, who is confused.

Prithvi: Kyun, Rishabh Luthra, kuch yaad aaya?? 6 saal Pehle, tune mujhe fraud ke case mein andar band karwaya tha!!

Rishabh is shocked.

Prithvi: Haan, wahi hu mein...

Everybody is confused and ask Rishabh what is going on.

Rishabh: Yeh...tum...Tum...Yeh...Punnit Malhotra...

Prithvi: Haan...wahi hu mein...meri shaadi wale din tumne mujhe jail pohchaya tha na...

Everybody is shocked. Rishabh explains to them that how Prithvi aka Punnit used to exact money from other companies by unfair means and how he had got him arrested on the day of his wedding.

K.daadi: Par yeh shaadi kisse kar raha tha...??

Sherlyn: Mujhse!! Aur uss din mandir mein bhi hum dono shaadi karne wale the...lekin yeh bich mein aa gayi(pointing to Sarla).

Everybody is shocked.

Just then the police arrive and they take Prilyn.

Karan: Ruk jaayiye inspector.

Karan moves towards Sherlyn while everybody looks at him, confused.

Karan hands over the divorce papers and asks her to sign them.

Sherlyn isn't ready to sign them but Kareena threatens her and she signs them. Rishabh too signs them and the papers are registered.

Preeta: Rukiye inspector. Please, inhe aaram se lekar jaayiye...yeh pregnant hai...

Everybody looks at Preeta, confused. Sherlyn has done so much to her and yet she cares about her.

Preeta: Baat Sherlyn Ki nahi hai...uss bachche ki hai, jo abhi tak iss duniya mein aaya hi nahi hai...in sab mein uss bichare bachche ka kya kasoor...

The inspector nods and leaves and so do the Arora's.

Everybody is relieved that everything is fine, but just then Preeta faints. Karan runs to her and holds her. He tries to wake her up, but he gets tensed when she doesn't wake up. Sameer asks Dr. Seema to check.

The doctor comes out of Preeran's room.

Karan (worried): Doctor sab thik toh hai na?? Preeta kaisi hai...woh thik toh hai na...

Doctor: Relax Karan, everything is fine, woh bas stress ki wajah se chakkar aa gaye the...but now she is fine...aur haan...please see to it ki usse koi stress na ho...also assure that she takes her medicines on time....mein chalti hu...

Karan goes inside the room and sees Preeta sleeping peacefully. Everybody goes to their room, happy that Mahesh has recovered and everything is fine now.

Karan sits beside Preeta, holding her hand and caressing her face. Preeta opens her eyes and sees Karan crying... She wipes his tears.

Preeta (weakly): Aree, yeh kya The Karan Luthra...ro raha hai...log kya kahenge!!

Karan (smiling): Log kahenge ki dekho...Preeta Luthra ka pati, Karan Luthra ro raha hai!

Preeta (cutely with actions): Hayyee...Karan phir meri image ka kya hoga!! Tum toh meri naak katva kar hi rahoge. 

Karan smiles and helps her sit up. It starts raining and the two of them look out and remember the first time they had got wet in the rain, due to the umbrella fight.

Preeta: Tumne mera favorite chhata tod diya tha....

Karan: Hawww...kaisi jhuti ho...woh chhata mujhe bhagwaan ne diya  tha kyun ki meine unse maanga tha...

Preeta: Whatt!! Karan Luthra!!

And then they start laughing. Preeta then goes near the balcony and puts one hand outside and closes her eyes, feeling the raindrops fall on her.

Karan: Preeta, andar aa jao, bheeg jaogi toh bimaar padh jaogi.

Preeta: Kuch nahi hoga mujhe...tum apni chinta karo...mein toh chali...

Saying this she runs out of the room to the terrace, while Karan runs behind her.

On the terrace.

Preeta gets drenched in the rain and closes her eyes, looking up. Karan smiles seeing her enjoying and he too goes. He back hugs her and she leans on him.

Pal ek pal mein hi tham sa gaya

Tu haath mein haath jo de gaya

He snuggles and kisses her neck.

Chalu mein jahaan jaye tu

Daayein mein tere, baayein tu

He turns her and pulls her towards him, his hands on her waist.

Hoon rut mein, hawayein tu

Saathiya...

Their foreheads touch and they get lost in each other.

Phir kheench ke apne sang le gaya

Preeta turns around. He pulls her towards him and slides his hands down her arms, entangling their fingers. Both close their eyes, living the moment.

Kahi pe kho jaaye chal

Jahaan yeh ruk jaaye pal

Kabhi na phir aaye kal

Saathiya...

Preeta pushes him slightly but he holds her and and twirls her and both share a romantic dance.
